When I am tired

And feeling wired

I give up my day

And let my mind sway

Embrace quiet time

Play music that chimes

I let thoughts dissolve

And let night evolve

A dark night of sleep

Will let my mind sweep

Perspective restored

Feel strength to explore

I pick up my life

Revisit my strife

May take a new path

Let go of some wrath

Resolve a pickle

Read a word tickle

I'll find the best way

To work through my day

And when work day ends

I may seek out friends

Or read a good book

Or take time to cook

And when I'm tired

And feeling wired
