You walked into my life,

you filled that void and empty soul of mine with multiple of colours,

you showed me the true meaning of love,

the reason to smile,

you promised you'd never let go,

I held onto that promise,

but as they say, promises are meant to be broken,

you left,

never glancing back,

I cried everyday,

it was a never ending battle,

you were killing me daily and you had no idea,

I pretended that I was fine,

when I wasn't at all,

That day, you made me learn an important lesson,

never trust the same person twice,

Trust is like a paper, once it is crumbled and thrown away,

it can never be perfect again,

It take years to build,

seconds to break,

forever to repair,

it took time,

 I found the new me again,

slowly I did let go of the pain but it'll be forever engraved in my heart,
