When the world got access to the type of high level technology it had, we all thought it would be a wonderful thing. However, all it caused was war to get that much more intense.

Cronix wanted nothing to do with this war. So they used their technology to build a protective wall around the city. Nothing that was inhuman could get in. Even if you were human, you had to meet a certain criteria. Something to prove you wouldn't blow everything up.

And even then, there are certain rules you must abide to. Only the rich seem to know the truth of our city. Maybe thats why I see some of them with gloomy smiles all the time. The poor remain ignorant, and those in the middle have no questions.

But one day, something broke through the barrier.

Nobody was expecting it. And it changed the world as we know it.
