Summary: Life was no fairytale.

~~~~~~
You walked through halls of your father's home with your most elegant robes trailing behind you. It was time to meet the man they had arranged you to marry after Hakuyuu left you. You wiped the tears threatening to escape your eyes.
To your parents, the moment you began dating Hakuyuu they were elated. Your family was just another one of those that had the status of nobility, so once you were with a prince they finally thought they were going to move up.
But after that fire... Reality came back and they annulled the marriage without your consent and paired you with a nobleman that was 3 years older than you. It had been a full a year since the great fire and you were now 21 years old.
If Hakuyuu had still been alive he would've been 23. You stopped walking and reached from under the top of your robes and pulled out your ring on a chain. You couldn't leave it there as it was the last thing he left you so now you wore it everywhere around your neck, it gave you strength.
It almost reminded you of the funeral that took place for the two brothers. When the only thing you kept your eyes would be the ring. You couldn't bare looking at their charred bodies.
"Y/N, there you are!"
You quickly stowed the ring away and turned to the voice. You let out a sigh of relief to see that it was just Lili. She used to be Hakuyuu's personal maid and she was the one that comforted you after that fire. After everything turned back "normal" she had come with you and became your personal maid.
Another interesting thing was that she also held feelings for one of the brothers, Hakuren. So, you two had to comfort each other during that mess. She now had become your best friend.
As she approached you she panted and rested her hands on her knees, "I was looking everywhere for you,-" her expression grew solemn- "it's time."
You nodded and held her hand to calm you down, something that had become a habit ever since he left you. She gave it a comforting squeeze, "you'll be okay, I have faith in you." She smiled.
You smiled back and nodded, "thank you, Lili."
She chuckled and did a small bow, "no problem." She walked away but turned back, suddenly remembering something, "oh! Hakuryuu and Hakuei tried visiting you again... What would like for me to do?" She asked.
"... They're not welcome..." Your fists clenched into your robes once again, you had avoided them ever since the arranged marriage, you were afraid that they were made at you for not being faithful to their sibling.
Lili frowned at your decision but nodded, "of course..." She bowed and then walked off, leaving you alone with your thoughts.
You stood there for a good few minutes and then continued on with your walk of shame
