Shivaay's pov.

"Mr.Batra, it will be our pleasure to work with your company" I stood up forwarding my hand.

"Likewise Mr.Oberoi" Mr.Batra replied joining our hands.

Finally we barged 5000 crore deal, I decided to bonus every single staff of this company for contributing somewhere behind the success of this deal.
I decided to share this news with all my family members but not on phone but as a person. 

"Khanna, I'll be down in 5 minutes. Get the car ready." I ordered him and made my way towards exit of the office.

                   ***

"Khanna what's going on? It been past 15 minutes we are stuck at same place?" I asked looking outside at crowd and traffic jam.

"Sir there is been an accident and it will take some more time to clear this jam!"  'Accident' , I still remember that incident which was no less than a nightmare to me!

Flashback.

It has been a week since I last saw Anika at the party. I have been really busy these days with back - to -back meetings. Right now I was busy preparing document for upcoming deal when my phone buzzed. I was surprised to see Anika's name flashing on my screen. Without waiting a second I picked up the call "Hello!" , next moment I knew, I was running towards exit.
Getting inside the car, I drove towards given address.

I sprinted inside hospital, moving towards reception desk ,"Excuse me! Can I know room number of Ms. Anika who is recently brought here in the case of accident?" 

"Sure sir, just give me a moment." I tapped my fingers on desk unconsciously been impatient.  

"Sir, Room 1209, 12th floor." I thanked her rushing towards elevator. On reaching the floor ,I looked for the Room-1209 and saw doctors coming out of the ICU.

"Doctor is Anika okay?" I don't to why but I was really worried for her. 

"Gentleman what relation do you have with patient? " he asked.

 "I..I'm her friend, Shivaay Singh Oberoi." I felt uneasy when I referred me as her friend. 

"Her condition is stable now. Thank god her injuries were not internal, but her left leg is fractured and she has some bruises on her hands and stomach region. She has to be on bed rest for atleast 3 weeks . " 

"Can I meet her now?" " She is unconscious right now and will only gain conscious after an hour or two and right now we are gonna shift her to VIP ward ." doctors left while I sighed in relief.

"Khanna trace the person who is responsible for Anika's state. I want him/her in front of me within next 3 hours, is that clear?" I made my way inside room to find bandages wrapped around her head and hands and big plaster on her left leg. She was still unconscious. Even with the bruises and bandages ,she was still beautiful. I was confused regarding my feelings.

 I had never felt such things for any girl before, in fact I was always two step away from girls and stuffs. Anika you are surely something. My trance was broken when I heard a whisper. I found Anika awake trying to call me. "Anika!" I moved towards her. 

"Water!" she whispered to which I helped her drink from the glass. "Are you okay? Should I call doctor?" I stroked her hair.

 "Thankyou, she replied making me confuse  for been here for me." she completed. 

"Anika you are my friend and please don't thank me." We were interrupted by doctor accompanied with nurse in the room. "Glad seeing you awake Ms.Anika, are you feeling any pain?" 

"Yes, It feels as if elephant is sitting on me." I chuckled listening to her cute reply. 

"Okay! We just need to run some more test to see if you have any internal injury by chance. Other than that you have your left leg fractured and you need at least 3 weeks rest to recover soon." she paled when she heard last 2 lines. I knew something was bothering her and would surely ask her after sometime.

Next week passed in blur, I started spending most of the time with Anika at her penthouse. I got to know different shades of Anika like she is really sweet when she is been sarcastic or very angry when she is frustrated. She was frustrated spending whole week on bed plus upcoming two weeks too. I started enjoying her company and most of my office work, I would be completing from home. I told her about my family and especially Omkara and Rudra, my brothers. She was surprised to know that Omkara is my brother and in fact they are in same university and cherry on top they are best friends. I told her how Omkara doesn't like to flaunt his surname and he is hiding fact that he is an Oberoi. She was mad at first but then got calm  knowing the reason behind it. From the day of accident I knew, I and Anika had a relation which was more than just friends.

Flashback over.

And another one,
The day  I came back from London, the temple fire incident, that day I knew I cannot live without her. She had saved my family putting her life in danger. I knew how I controlled myself not to run and cry in her embrace that day. I felt my life been snatched away. I had to mask my emotions in front of everyone, my heart was breaking into pieces seeing her suffer.

"Shivaay sir, are you crying?" my thoughts broke when I heard Khanna's voice. 

"Huh!" 

"Sir you are crying." I looked at mirror to find tears sliding down my cheeks. 

I quickly wiped it "No, actually something went into my eyes so.." without giving further explanation I rushed inside.

Anika's pov.

It was midnight, Sleep was far away from my eyes as I had become habitual to my customized pillow i.e Shivaay. I cannot sleep without him. I tip-toed towards his room making sure no one is in corridor.  I sighed in relief when I reached in front of his door. Fishing his room key from my pocket, which he had given me, I opened the door and slowly closed back not to make him alert.
Moonlight peeped through curtains inside the room, there he was sleeping peacefully with mouth slight open. Without wasting much time, I slide beside him wrapping my arms around his torso and as if he knew I might come, he pulled me closer nuzzling into my neck and soon I drifted into my sweet slumber.
