What is one thing that makes your MC incredibly sad, to the point of sobbing?

For Lillith, it's the idea of losing anyone else close to her. Just thinking of Cassandra, or Theo, or Eleanor, or Doran dying makes her start sobbing uncontrollably.

Cassandra starts to sob if she thinks she's gonna lose Lillith. For her, Lillith is the most important thing in her life. And losing her is not something she could handle well.

Theo doesn't sob. Even when he's afraid that he's about to die. Even when he thinks someone close is going to die. He just doesn't. He doesn't even cry.
