Ash's POV

I stood there dumbfounded from Serena's statement awhile ago, has she met this woman? If so then how?

Questions began filling inside my mind as I wait for Serena to answer the woman's question, even I want to know whether she remembers her or not.

Just from this I already knew...

I know nothing about her since the very start, and my wish never came true. There was no progress, well in my eyes there was no progress to begin with.

"Serena..." I quietly muttered as she glance at me and gave a small smile and looks back at the woman.

The woman places her hand on Serena's right shoulder and closes her eyes, after a minute or so she opened her eyes again and frowned. I tilt my head from the scene, why was she frowning? Serena's expressing turned into an apologetic one and stood up from the ground and looks up at the sky and then at me.

"So....I should probably explain to you what in the world is happening to me huh?" I didn't say a word and just stood there, the woman stands up aswell and whispered something to Serena causing Serena to have a very pissed off expression.

"Tell me about it" she said in such a cold dead voice, is this really the Serena I know? Or is this really her?

The two run off and I chased after them not wanting to be left behind, Serena looks behind her and shooks her head at me as if she was telling me not to follow, but I didn't want to be just left behind just like that! I need to know what's going on!!

We stopped infront of a house that perfectly resembles like min-wait...This is my house?!

"What are we doing here?!" I exclaimed, the woman turns towards me and places her finger on my lips making me freeze in place, literally, she froze my feet in place.

"Ashy!!" Serena went beside me in concern and glares at the woman infront of us, she merely shrugs it off like it was nothing, which btw was not!!

"Why are we here?! What are planning to do to our house?!" I growled at her, she simply looks back infront and took a step forward, I look at Serena who had an uneasy expression on her face.

"Serena you better explain to me this right now!! Or I WILL PROBABLY FAINT FROM PANICKING!!!" Serena bit her lower lip and turned away from me as she said "I'm not who you think I am...or who I think I was" What does she mean by that?! This is just getting confusing and her saying that is not helping!!

"What do you mean?! You were never this person to begin with!! The one I met was a happy go lucky girl who shone brightly in the moonlight! And now, you're starting to act like everything I thought I knew about you was nothing but an illusion!" I exclaimed but  was then slapped really hard on the face by that blasted woman.

"Keep your voice down or your mother might hear you" she hissed at me and I grit my teeth and tried to break free from her spell, Serena didn't bother on looking at the two of us and just stared up at the sky where the bright moon was.

"You probably won't believe me, but I remember you...from 19 years ago, you were alot more mature and you probably were around the age of 18 or something, but I was there and I was indeed human" her voice was shaky and it expressed pain and guilt, and it made my heart beat faster than before.

"My answer awhile ago was "No" I don't remember her, nor remember who I really was. I know this is confusing Ashy, and I can't blame you, heck, if this was a story the readers would probably be more confused than we are." She stepped between us and looks back down with a forced smile "I think I should have just stayed in my lonely chamber, I...should have never even fallen in love with you in the first place. I only bring pain and suffering for you Ash, sure I helped you with Gary and his pals but after that, I only caused trouble." A tear dropped down to her cheek as she talked. The more words that came out of her mouth, the more pain I felt for her, but why?

"You know, I don't even know why I'm still here. I should be up there to end you this misery Ash, I should leave no-" I was about to cut her off, but the woman was the one who cut her off first by hugging her really tightly, like a mother hugging her child who felt despair for the first time.

I wanted to hug her, but unfortunately I was still stuck in one place and all I could do was pat her on the back, real romantic Ash, your girlfriend is crying and all you could do is pat her on the back.

"Ash Ketchum right?" The woman asked "Yes, I am Ash...um"

"I'm Grace...Grace Yvonne"

Serena and my eyes widened in shock, Serena looks up and frowns..

"This is....straight up confusing...can somebody explain to me what on earth is happening?!" I exclaimed, Serena nods aswell even though she probably knows what is happening.

Grace simply nods and point infront of my house where my mother was standing, crying.

"Mom?" My mom runs up to me and hugs me like the way Grace hugged Serena.

"I have to explain huh?"
