At Hospital

Half an hour had already passed since kartik was taken into operation theatre and till then she didn’t get any update.

Every second she was dying out of the tension.She tried her best to stay calm but she failed.Her body was shaking in nervousness.

Rishab requested her to take first aid but she firmly refused the idea.Right now momo was her priority.She stood before the OT like a robot.Her eyes glued on the red light of the OT.She was waiting for the moment when it would turn into green.

After what seemed like ages a nurse step out of the OT in a hurry.Shivi immediately run to her and asked about him.

She came to know that mohsin's condition still was not stable.There was a very badly internal injury.Even his skull also damaged very badly.His heartbeat was very slow and unstable.

The nurse rushed to OT, leaving a broken shivi behind.

"Ganga Maiyaa aap toh kabhi kisi ache ke saat bura nhi hone deti hai na toh fir mera medak ke saath aisa kyun ho raha hai?Kyun aaj woh itni takleef mein hai.Yeh sab meri galti.Everything is happenings for me.So iski saza toh mujhe milni chaiye.

Why I can't be punished?Why he is now fighting between life and death?Why??

She composed herself.After all she is a sherni.She tried to think positively as she knew that God isn’t unjust.She firmly believes that Ganga Maiyaa will safe him,heal him very soon.

Rishab offered her to eat something ;light food as she needed energy.But she denied it.In this moment she couldn’t eat a morsel of food.

Rishab became frustrated seeing her condition but decided to keep quite.

Shivi was standing alone now,staring at the OT doors,waiting for them to open so that she could know how her mendak was.

The same nurse once again rushed out of the OT for blood collection and this time, instead of asking mohsin's condition,shivi pleaded to give her permission to come inside once.She wanted to see him.She assured the nurse that she didn’t disturb them.She watched him from the glass window.

The nurse tried to make her understand that it’s risky for family patient and the inside view wasn’t pleasant.It’s tough for to handle, it's not meant for a faint heart.

But shivi kept on insisting to go inside.At last the nurse gave on and agreed.The nurse took her inside after taking all necessary precautions and measures.

Shivi entered the room attached to the OT that had a large screen giving the full view of surgery.Shivi was devastated seeing mohsin's condition.Innumerable electrodes stuck all around his upper body.He was surrounded by a large number of machine and a mask covering his face.Every part of her soul cried out at that very moment seeing her best friend fighting for his life.

Tears escaped her eyes as she heard the nurse and all she did was stared at his innocent face and chant the same thing in her heart over and over again, "tumhe kuch nhi hoga Mohsin,tum bilkul thik hojaogi"She just kept staring at her mohsin's faxe,requesting him to come back to her.

The surgery went on for another couple of hours and there was no improvement in his condition.Shivi was sitting inside the room alone and prayed all the Gods.

After some time,another nurse came to shivi,and this time with a good news.She informed shivi that the surgery was almost done.And now they decided to shift him cabin. Her face beamed with joy.

But at that time something terrible was happened and mohsin started sinking.All that shivi could understand was that his condition suddenly worsened and doctors were preparing for a electric shock.She saw one of the doctor putting the charged electrode on his chest and his body moving up and down but no response.She could hear the loud beeps of machines and felt breathless.

Another attempt was taken to revive his heart but it’s failed.

There couldn’t be heard any sound except the mechanical sound of the machine beep beep beep.
