Sorry for keeping you all waiting!! Let's continue on with the story, shall we??

OBSIDIAN'S POV

We looked into eachother's eye's. I had a feeling that she was looking deeper than me. I saw a sparkle in her eye. I had to tell her she was beautiful. What gentlemen wouldn't.

"Pearl..." i say. My voice sounded a little different than my normal deep voice. "Yes?" She replied. I hesitated a little. But i finally said "Has anyone told you how beautiful you are?" She just shake's her head no. After that, i place my forehead onto her's, and close my eye's.

PEARL'S POV

I blushed madly. My crush has finally noticed me. And, not only that, but he has his forehead on mine! I can't believe this!!

I returned the favor by planting a tender kiss on his forehead. His eye's open, and he look's at me with a surprised look on his face. I cannot hide my face, so i just look down shyly, with a shy smile on my face.

OBSIDIAN'S POV

"Your beautiful, Pearl. Your personality is beautiful. Your all beautiful." I tell her, softly. Her blush intensifie's. "Th--thank you, Obsidian." She say's to me. "Your not bad looking, yourself." She say's. Now i'm the one who is blushing. She giggle's. We both look at Steven. He has an astonished look on his face, with sparkle's in his eye's.

Then he say's "My plan worked!!!" We both look at him, confused. "I only invited you two, because i thought you two would talk to eachother!! And you two did more than just that!!!"

"Oh, Steven!!" Pearl say's. "Well..." Steven said. "I knew how much you liked Obsidian."

"Steven!! Shhh!!!" She look's at me, embarrassed. All i do, after many month's since i entered that time vortex, is......smile. Both, Pearl and Steven, become astonished. They should be. No one has ever seen me smile.

"We should hang out sometime." I say to Pearl. "You know....take a walk on the beach, somewhere we can be alone. What do you say?"

"What? Like...a date?" She ask's. "If you want to call it that." I smirk. She smile's. "Yes!!!" She hug's me. "I would love to!!!" I hug her back. Then i look at Steven, still smiling. I mouth "Thank you" to him. He just wink's, and give's me a thumb's up.

Now, me and Pearl aren't officially together. But, thank's to by good buddy, Steven, i am living a better life.
