Elarinya POV

I had heard King Thranduil and Gandalf talking to Legolas. They are having him and Tauriel go to Rivendell, and I had decided to follow them. I am now riding on my horse, a bit far behind them. They have not noticed me yet.

Out of nowhere, A whole bunch of rabbits and someone riding a sled that is being pulled by the rabbits flies right past me. I scream and my horse gets sacred and knocks me off of his back, then takes off running.

When I hit the ground, it takes me a moment to catch my breath. Legolas and Tauriel must of heard me scream, because they are now coming my way. I stand up and wait for them to get closer.

“Elarinya, what are you doing here?" Legolas asks me.

I give him an innocent face and say, “I just wanted to help. I feel like I need to do something, anything to help save Aerlinniel. So, I followed you guys."

“Well, you can't go back to the Woodland-Realm on your own, so I guess your going to have to ride with us. We are almost to Rivendell anyway. What happened to you anyway, why did you scream?" He asks me.

“Someone was riding on a sled that was pulled by rabbits. and they went by really fast right in front of my horse and I. It had scared me so I screamed. My horse got scared and knocked me off and then he took off running."

“Are you hurt?" Tauriel asks me. I shake my head no. “You can ride with me." She says as she holds out her hand.

I take it and she helps me on the horse. And we take off to get to Rivendell. I wonder what it looks like. I have never been there before. I think that Aerlinniel has.

Aerlinniel. I give a small sigh as I think of her. Just as I am finally reunited with her, she is gone again. Will we ever be able to just live a normal life? I sure hope so, but for now it seems unlikely.

Legolas POV

We make it to Rivendell and an ellon comes over to us. “May I take the horses to the stables for you, my Lord?" He asks.

“Ná, Hantanyel. (Yes, thank you)" I answer him.

As he takes the horses away, another ellon walks up to us. “What brings you here, Legolas Thranduilion?"

“We are here to speak to Lord Elrond, on a very urgent matter. Can you takes to him?" I ask.

“Á tulë asenyë. (Come with me)" He says and starts to walk further into Rivendell. We all follow him.

I turn to see Elarinya looking around with a small smile on her face. “Rivendell is beautiful, do you think?" She asks me.

“Yes, it is very beautiful." I say. Which is true, Rivendell is beautiful.

We after turning down a few more hallways, the ellon stops and turns to us and says, “He is in here." Then he walks off.

We enter the room and see Lord Elrond looking out a window. “Alatúlië, (Welcome) Legolas, Tauriel, and Elarinya. What brings you to Rivendell?" Lord Elrond greets us.

“We are here because there is an ellon by the name of Lithôniel. He is planing to start a war against the Woodland-Realm." I explain to him.

“Yes, I have heard of Lithôniel. What do you need?"

“We have been sent here to request your help. We need to win this war and get our good friend, Aerlinniel back." I tell him.

He had a shocked expression on his face. “Aerlinniel?" He whispers to himself.

“So, will you help us or not?" Tauriel asks him.

“Yes, I will get my elves together and we will be there in five days."

“Thank you, Lord Elrond." I thank him as I give him a slight bow.

Lord Elrond is letting us stay the night. He has given each of us rooms. I lay down and just stare at the ceiling. I can't sleep. I just can't stop thinking about Aerlinniel.

All that I can hope at the moment is that she is not dead. I think back to the time when I first met her. How nice she was to me. I still have no idea why she does not hate me for almost killing her.

I remember when she had left the Woodland-Realm. Elarinya made me snap back to reality. She told me that Aerlinniel loves me. But, how can she love someone like me? I mean, I almost killed her, I said words that hurt her, and it is my fault that Lithôniel took her.

If she is dead, it's my fault. I should have been more careful. I can't believe this has happened.  With all of the thoughts going on in my head, I eventually fall asleep.
