Callum's POV

Getting out of the car, I walk around it and open the door for Sofia.

She tucks a piece of her light brown hair behind her ear. "Thanks, Cal." She steps out of the car and waits for me on the sidewalk.

Closing the door I walk over to her and hold her hand. "Shall we enter the restaurant?"

"Sure," she smiles, revealing her white teeth. "I'm starving."

When we get to the door of the Italian restaurant I hold the door open for her. There's candles set on the table, with red roses covering the white table cloth. Knives and forks are placed next to two plates.

A waitress is standing behind a podium and she greets us. "Hello, welcome to Bianchi. I'm Jordyn and I'll be your waitress this afternoon." She leads the way to the table and we follow closely behind her.

There's film crew everywhere in the restaurant and they asked the owners to close it for two hours while we're there.

When we get to the table I pull the chair out for her. She sits and I tuck it in a bit more before going to my seat, which is opposite her.

She looks around the room. "This is the first date I've been on."

"Really?"

How come no one has taken her out before?

She's a beautiful woman. I don't know how there weren't men lining up to date her.

"Yeah," her face turns red. " I was too busy taking guys up in the sky to jump off a plane."

I laugh. "I hope it was with parachute and not taking them to their deaths."

A smile spreads across her face and it lightens up her eyes. "I'm a skydiving instructor. Please, tell me that we're going to skydive soon?"

Zipping my lips and say. "Sorry, I can't tell you what we're doing in advance. Wow, a skydiving instructor. Do you ever think it's going to be your last jump?"

She shakes her head. "It's best not to think like that. I just love the rush of jumping out of a plane and landing on the beach. My favourite beach to land on is Santa Monica. The pier looks amazing from the sky."

"I did that with my best friend two years ago."

Cassie bugged me about going skydiving for months and I told her we'd do it together.

When we got on the plane she told me that she wanted to jump alone and with the lessons we got prior to doing this she had enough confidence to it herself.

I wasn't expecting for her to change to her and I was actually looking forward to jumping off the plane with her in my arms.

At the altitude that's safe to jump the doors open, letting in a rush of cold wind that fills the airplane and goosebumps rise up on my skin. The instructors check that the chutes are on up properly.

Before people start jumping from the plane.

Cassie and I are the last two on the plane and we just look at each other.

Not knowing who's going to jump first.

Cassie pecked me on the cheek and said. "I'll see you at the bottom." She holds onto the strap of the chute and jumps out, yelling. "Geronimo,"

The instructor laughs. "She's the first person to say that today. It's been a while since I've heard someone say that."

Running over to the side I watch her fall. "Come on, Callum." She yells.

Closing my eyes I leap out of the plane. The wind rushes against my skin as I fall. I open my eyes and pull the strap on the chute.

The chute opens and pulls me up into the sky for a moment.

Before I know it I'm touching down on the beach.

Looking around I see Cassie walking out of the water. Her clothes are wet and so is her hair. "Did you fall into the water?"

"Yeah," she growls. Dragging the chute behind her. "The damn wind blew me further than I needed and I end up in the water."

I start laughing.

She slaps my arm and says. "I'm bloody freezing and need something warm to put on."

Sofia touches my hand. "What are you thinking about?"

"I was thinking about the skydiving trip I took and my best friend ended up landing in the water close to Santa Monica Pier in her clothes."

She moves her hand off mine. "You're best friend is a girl?"

"Yeah, she's one of the best girls I've ever met, but we shouldn't talk about her right now. It's all about me getting to know you."

I think I messed up majorly by bringing Cassie up in our conversation.

The waitress walks over to us and says. "Can I take your order?"

"Yes," Sofia says. "I'll have the chicken fettuccine with a roll on the side, please."

"A Diavola pizza for me and can I get another one to go?"

"Sure," she writes the order on the pad and heads to the kitchen.

"Why are you getting a pizza to go? Those girls aren't going to eat it."

There's one girl I know that will eat it and she's always loved the pepperoni ones from our local Italian store.

"It's not for them. I like to eat cold pizza at night. Back home I would watch the football and have a beer, while eating cold pizza."

"Is that all you live on is pizza?"

I shake my head. "My freezer is full of frozen meals. I don't have time to cook. During the racing season I'm out all the time and a couple months before that I'm on the track training."

Then I spend more time at the motocross track watching Cassie kick her teammates ass off and on the track.

Sofia changes the topic and talks about herself more, making it harder for me to choose who's going to stay on the show.

Our food arrives and we begin to eat. Holding up my glass of water I say. "To making the most of Meet Your Equal."

"Cheers," She clinks her glass with mine. "I know this weeks going to be hard for you to get rid of two girls. Can you tell me if I'm close to winning your heart?"

None of the girls will be close to winning that. I think my hearts already chosen and I haven't had a meal with her yet.

I'm looking forward to when I can take Cassie out. I'll be able to be more myself and not let things slip out during inconvenient times like I did not long ago.

She covers her mouth and says. "I didn't mean it like that."

"It's not a problem, Sofia. I've liked spending time with you. When we get back to the house  going to give you a rose as I want to spend more time with you."

A smile spreads across her face. "Thank you. You don't know how much this means to me."

I know how much this means to her. Especially, after learning about guys not taking her out on a date.

She's an incredible woman to be out with.
