ANNIE MUELLER WAS A FOSTER KID. HAVING BEEN IN THE SYSTEM FOR AS LONG AS SHE COULD REMEMBER, all she wanted was a loving family. A mom, a dad, maybe even a brother or sister, and a dog. The picture-perfect family she'd see on tv and in the magazines, the kind of family her and the other foster kids dreamed of desperately. As her eleventh birthday drew nearer, her hope for being adopted continued to dwindle.

Until Tony Stark becomes a foster parent in what starts as a publicity stunt. *

✦ this is, obviously, based off of annie. however, i've only seen the 2014 one, so it's the movie this plot is based on.

✦ youmay change the face claim of annie, but run the change by me first, and id prefer she stay poc since it's based off the 2014 movie.

✦ so, into the actual story.

✦ tony is starting to become unpopular with the public because of war profiteering and stuff. so, when he ends up saving a little girl chasing a dog from getting hit in oncoming traffic, the publicity guy he hired suggests that tony foster her until his image goes up.

✦ tony agrees, but pepper thinks its a very bad idea.

✦ also! i imagine this to take place a few months/a year before iron man, but if you can fit it in after that, you can. i just imagine since, at that point, tony is iron man it wouldn't work out very well.

✦ annie doesn't know who her parents are, and she never finds out who they are. there's obviously that moment in the 2014 where fake parents are hired, but you can include that if you want. if you do, tony has no knowledge of these fake parents being hired.

✦ i only have a casting for annie. please feel free to cast ms. hannigan and the other girls if you please, and i have no problem helping.

✦ if you have a marvel series, you are more than welcome to fit ocs of your own into this, esp if they are a love interest to tony.

✦ honestly, if i didn't already have too many plots, i'd probably take this myself. who knows, if no one wants it, i might.

✦ tony, at the suggestion of pepper/someone else (could be your oc, if applicable), he takes annie to adopt a dog. like in the movie, the dog happens to be the same one annie ends up chasing.

✦ the breed of dog is up to you, as is the name.

✦ tony does end up adopting annie in the end, so this story should end with a chapter of him gaining full, permanent custody and guardianship of annie.

✦ if you want to take this story into later mcu movies, please run it by me first, and i can help you come up with an older face claim if needed for this. if you decide to take her into later movies, you may give her a love interest of your choosing, as long as it is appropriate with annie's age.

✦ i will be incredibly picky with who takes this plot.

✦ you may feel free to take this into iron man. i honestly think it would be interesting to see how annie would handle the situation, especially after having been adopted not too long ago.

✦ keep in mind, annie will be living in malibu, not new york, since that's where tony's house is before iron man 3.
