" I actually want a pet of my own " I sat down with Jess having a casual conversation with each other.

" Well what type of animal would you want? A cat? A dog? Horse? " She asked me.

" To be honest I don't really know how I'll soon make my choice " I've always wanted a pet to keep my company when I was stealing but now I have people around me I've been thinking about it less and less, I would wanted like a wild animal like a fox or a wolf but for now. I don't think I'll get one just yet.

Me and Jess decided to go berry picking since we are running out of food, and technically nothing else to do with out lives, so I grabbed my hood and placed it on and she did as well along with baskets and walked out. We followed along the footpath as we came into a berry farm we went to the strawberries and picked some along with petting the bunny rabbits munching on the carrots.

Picking from strawberries to blueberries to cherries I gave my basket to Jess so she could go to the counter and pay. I admired the bunnies and crossed my legs and seeing one bounce in the hole my legs make when I Criss-cross. As we had to go I picked it up and placed it on the ground and walked out arms linked.

As we arrived home Jess decided to bake something with the berries that we collected, while I in the other hand decided to wait patiently on the chair until she brought it out and places it on the table, she baked a pie and cut it to even slices and place two on two plates and happily started eating.

" Oh yeah, Levin and Malachi invited us to a bonfire tonight so we should, better start preparing I want to see the stars tonight " As she munched on her slice. I nodded and took a last bite and stood up and got ready.

So we start packing our stuff like extra blankets and snacks, at the sun begun to set down, we set out and walked again into the forest. We saw a few other people I haven't met before and Malachi and Levin sitting on logs and waving, u shyly waved back and sat on a free log along with Jess as well. So far I have met Dante and Alexis and that's mostly it, they invited the closet acquaintances. They started the fire which was crackling and sparking and felt a presence beside and next thing you know it, it's Malachi and Jess sitting where he was.

" I'm so glad you could join us tonight "

" It's not like I had anything else to do tonight, but I mostly spend my nights alone "

" Jess told me that you wanted a pet right? Well maybe I could help you find one? "

" That's nice of you thanks "

" So Y/N how did you end up at Phoenix Drop? " Dante eyeing me in curiosity.

" Oh Malachi found me in the woods "

" Did he know " Smirking at Malachi while Malachi pretending to be busy looking at a bush.

" Um HEY, you know what I should play a song for you guys how about that?! " Malachi rushed out his words in his speech.

" Uh huh sure " Alexis replied with a cheeky smile.

Malachi out of nowhere started strumming his guitar, and playing a tune and turned to him singing out lyrics for us to hear.

We stared at him in awe as he strummed the last tune, he smiled at me and laid it on my shoulder. Jess, Dante and Alexis were giggling while Levin was looking away given a stubborn look. I did the same laying my head on his head while he was still strumming the guitar.

Levin decided to stand up and grab me by the shoulder and dragged me far away from the bonfire. And pushed me against the tree and pinned his arms on each side, so I couldn't move. He felt so close so redness came into my cheeks, he brought my closer and closer, I held onto his sleeves scared on why he is acting like this, so different.
