A/N: After a few more days of training, the tournament finally arrives, with you and the others being greeted by Goka, who returned to the afterlife for one day.

You, Gohan and Goten were standing out in the area you all we training at yesterday, waiting for Videl to arrive.

Gohan: it's certainly taking her a while than last time.

(Y/N): where the hell is this girl? It's been about 35 minutes now.

Gohan: to be fair...... I MIGHT have pissed her off yesterday.

(Y/N): what do you mean?

(Flashback).

While You were still at the house "having a talk" with ChiChi, Videl's training to fly was still going. The best that she got at the moment was being able to levitate off of the ground only a few minor inches.

Gohan: not bad, you've seemed to have got levitation down on your first day, so that's a start.

Videl: for the most part anyway.

They both watched as Goten, who seemed to have managed to learn to fly a lot faster than she did, was just flying around in a few circles.

Goten: wow, this is great!

Gohan: uh..... I can assure you that Goten has had better control of his ki from the start.

Videl: hm.......... I'll be coming back tomorrow.

Gohan: wait what?! You managed to already begin levitation. Just practicing on your own should be enough for you.

Videl: I want to know more about this ki stuff. Or is am I being a bother here?

She asked while giving a glare to Gohan.

Gohan: oh n.... no. Not at all.

Videl: very well, I'll see you tomorrow then. I have to be heading home anyways. Dad will likely start getting worried if I'm ever gone for far too long.

She said before pressing a button on her capsule and tossing it for her "helicopter" to appear.

Gohan: oh, before you do, I wanna ask you something if you're considering on doing it.

Videl: what is it?

Gohan: I think your hair would be better if it was a little bit shorter.

Videl looked at her pigtails for a moment after he said this and even had a very small minor blush on her face.

Videl: you're saying you prefer short?

Gohan: w..... well uh. Not by a personal preference. I was thinking it would give you an advantage in a fight if they were shorter so an opponent doesn't grab your hair....

Videl: HOW I DO MY HAIR IS MY OWN BUISNESS, YOU JACKASS!!!!

Gohan: eh!!!

She got into her helicopter and flew off.

(End of Flashback).

(Y/N): you really had to tell her about the hair?

Gohan: I was just doing it to help her out. I would feel incredibly guilty if it happened to her and I never bothered to tell her.

(Y/N): well, it seems like it really pissed her off. I'm doubting she's going to be showing up today if we have to wait much longer.

You and Gohan soon saw Videl's Helicopter arriving in the area and landed a few feet away from you.

(Y/N): though I've been known to be wrong from time to time.

Videl soon stepped out of the Helicopter and much to Gohan's surprise, she now had much more shorter hair.

Gohan: eh?!

Goten: she had so much long hair yesterday.

Gohan: oh v.....Videl. I see that you.....

Videl: yeah, don't push it. Now are we going to continue from yesterday or what?

Gohan: uh..... yeah sure.

(Meanwhile).

As she was sitting on the ground, Zangya was sitting down on the ground as she had her hand held on her stomach, signaling that she was hungry. However, there wasn't any more food in the a spot she was in and she didn't have any more food that Frostwing would usually bring her.

Zangya: ugh. F**k I'm still hungry! Never thought I'd probably have to leave this spot now. I was actually kinda starting to get comfortable here.

She soon stood up and brushed off her pants before looking around.

Zangya: I obviously can't fly to any new place without Frostwing's friends tracking my energy and finding me.

She soon let out a sigh.

Zangya: guess I gotta start walking.

She said before beginning to walk through the forest area trying to find somewhere that has food for her to find and eat.

(30 Minutes Later).

30 minutes passed during the time Zangya was looking for a meal. And so far, she hasn't found anything yet. The most she's found was twigs getting stuck in her hair and get a few cuts and bruises by thorn bushes and plants with sharp edges. She currently walked through a large bush with some twigs and small branches sticking out of her hair.

Zangya: god, how is looking for anything to eat in this forest to eat? There's not even one animal in this part of it.

She soon looked up and noticed a house a few distances away from the forest. But the thing was, it was Frostwing's house.

Zangya: grrrrrrrrr.... ugh screw it. I'd rather be dealing with him in a place I'll actually be able to get food at than be out here in this forest any longer.

The former space pirate sighed in defeat as she approached Frostwing's house while pulling a few of the sticks and twigs out of her hair. Once she was right at the front door, she stopped for a moment before considering knocking.

Zangya's mind: I'm going to greatly regret this.

She said before soon knocking on the door. She heard some whispering and moving around for a few brief moments before things got quiet and Frostwing opened up the door.

Frostwing: Zangya? What brings you here?

Zangya: ugh.......... I really hate to be saying this to you. But, I want to ask if your offer is still open.

Frostwing: oh. I see you've managed to come to your senses and change your mind?

Zangya: don't push it. I'm only here asking because there's hardly anymore food out here for me to eat in this freaking forest.

Frostwing: I see....

Zangya: yes, and I only need to stay here for a couple of months until I've gotten enough I need here until moving onto somewhere else that I can lookout for myself.

Frostwing: well, if you insist.

He soon steps aside to allow her to come in. She enters inside the house and got a look around the place. As she walked further into the house, she found herself in the living room, there, she saw Cella and Crystal.

Zangya: you must be that bug chick he's got living with him.

Cella: and you must be that gipsy lady with the green skin walking around the forests like a hobo.

Zangya: better than being a slouch stuck inside a house.

Frostwing: okay, let's settle down you two. If you're going to be in this home together with each other, you're going to have to play nice with each other.

Cella: why should I not blast her right now?

Frostwing: because the others will likely end up detecting your ki and come here figuring out who's shooting off blasts in the exact spot of my home. And I won't have any particularly good excuses for them if they come.

Cella: fine. But I already have dibs on you. So I ain't sharing.

Zangya: I don't intend to get into his pants anyway.

Crystal: wait, daddy, what does she mean by that? Is there something that you keep inside your pants.

Frostwing: uh........

Back in the location You, the Boys and Videl were at, Videl was up in the air, floating much higher than the height she managed to get yesterday.

Videl: check it out, I can float a lot better now!

Gohan: I knew you'd be able to get it down perfectly. At this rate, I don't think there could be anything else to teach you.

Goten soon zoomed past them, scarring the piss out of a flock of spearow.

Goten: yahoo!

Videl: so.... How long would it be able to take me to fly like that?

Gohan: oh well........ I...... actually don't know.

Videl: guess I'll have to keep coming here to train until I can figure it out.

(Y/N): well, isn't that just fantastic.

Gohan: w....wait, hold on a second.

Gohan flew over to Goten and appeared in front of him, causing him to stop.

Goten: ?!

Gohan then whispered something in Goten's ear.

Gohan: Goten, don't fly any faster when Videl is here.

Goten: how come?

Gohan: doesn't matter on why, okay?

The Older Saiyan Sibling then floated back down while Goten was still a little confused.

Videl: what was going on up there?

Gohan: oh nothing. Just giving Goten a little advice.

Videl soon quick levitating and wiped her head.

Videl: time for a little break.

She soon sat down on the ground to relax herself a bit.

Videl: look, don't let my dad know that either of you are giving me training to fly. I want it to be a surprise.

(Y/N): I don't know why I'd tell him for. I hardly even know the guy.

Videl: he seems to know you.

(Y/N): that's because I'm one of 54 Pokemon who are considered gods. Or.... Is it 55 if Eternatus counts?

Gohan: it's probably for the best anyway.

Videl: besides, dad would probably throw a shit fit over me so much as hanging out with a boy somewhere after school. He makes an overprotective mother seem tame. Usually keeps telling me I can't see a guy unless they're stronger than him. But, no such guy seems to exist.

(Y/N): hmph, "no such guy seems to exist" she says.

You whispered to yourself.

Gohan: do you spar with your dad often?

Videl: there'd be no point of it. He's the champion after all. Hasn't been overseeing my training either so I've been doing it all on my own.

Gohan: guess that means that she hasn't realized that she isn't already stronger than Mr. Satan.

Gohan whispered a bit to you, to which you replied with a simple nod.

(Y/N): I guess I it would be pretty shocking if your dad managed to lose to someone then?

Videl: with how full of himself he's been. I actually wouldn't be too surprised. Mom may have died, but that doesn't mean that he has to use his fame as champion to try and invite women over for some sort of "booty call". Whatever that is.

Gohan: wow.....

Gohan's mind: but, on the plus side, I'll be able to beat her dad without her getting pissed.

Videl: well, we should probably keep going now. And out of curiosity, where did you learn your martial arts from, Gohan?

She asked while doing stretches.

Gohan: oh, I learned a thing or two from my late mother and a few friends of mine.

Videl: your mom must be pretty strong then, right?

Gohan: yeah, she really was.

Goten soon landed behind You and Gohan.

Goten: Mom's gonna come back for a day to enter the tournament!

(Y/N) & Gohan: Goten!!!

Videl: wait, seriously? How can she come if she's dead?

(Y/N): w..... well uh......

Videl: I get it. She must have walked on you guys a long time ago. But she secretly contacted you to tell you she'd be entering the tournament.

Gohan: um.....

Gohan didn't know what answer to give as he only scratched the back of his head.

Videl: hm, seems both of us have had a hard time with our parents.

Gohan: yeah..... right.

Videl: but, never mind that now. Let's continue training.

(Y/N)'s mind: not exactly the type of cover up I want to try and make up lies with, but it's better than nothing.

(Several Days Later).

Goten was flying in the sky fast once more. However, he stopped in place as Videl, who now also learned to fly, passed him by.

Videl: coming through!

As she continued flying, she flew passed the same flock of spearow from before.

Spearow 1: WHY DO WE KEEP FLOCKING HERE?!

Gohan: man, Videl's really something else. She managed to learn how to fly in just under 10 days.

(Y/N): judging from the tone in your voice, I'd say you had an attraction to this girl.

Gohan soon had a blush on his face as he quickly turned to You.

Gohan: wh.... what? That's crazy. I'm only happy for her since she learned to fly so fast.

(Y/N): if you say so.

Videl soon landed on the ground in front of You, Gohan and Goten.

Gohan: really good, Videl. I can't really think of anything more to teach you.

Videl: thanks, Gohan. Now I can train for the tournament without any worry.

She soon levitated off of the ground.

Videl: I'll see you guys at the tournament. Bye!

She flew off.

Gohan: bye!

(Y/N): catch you later!

Goten: so she finally went home?

Gohan: yeah, which means now we can train.

Goten: alright!

(Y/N): you two go on ahead. I'm gonna go check up on Trunks and Vegeta. Arceus knows what she's been doing to him today.

The two Saiyan siblings flew into the air while you took off to Capsule corp.

(Y/N): now that I think about, I better check on Logan and the others as well.

(Meanwhile).

Logan, Groudon, Kyogre and Frostwing were all currently in a clear plain area training. Logan was having Groudon doing squats in his legendary form while Kyogre was in his legendary form having to do pushups using his fins all while Frostwing was laying on his back.

Logan: come on, damn it! Squat harder! Burn those tights!

Groudon: these thighs are comprised of muscle, not fat!

Logan: I don't want excuses! I want results!

Kyogre: why exactly are you laying on my back?

Frostwing: to give you a little more weight to give a little more challenge to your pushups.

Kyogre: I'm around the size and weight of a whale. How do you think you're adding much weight to this?

Frostwing: by giving you a few inches of the weight .

Kyogre: -_-

(Timeskip).

The day of the tournament had finally arrived. You, Vegeta, Frieza, Frostwing, Logan, Groudon, Kyogre, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, ChiChi, Bulma, Master Roshi, Krillin, Ox King, Android 18, Yamcha, Puar and Oolong were at the tournament area with a lot of people standing around there.

Logan: ugh. This place is packed to the punch here.

Bulma: ugh, I know. It's a mess in here.

(Y/N): this is almost worse than when I walked into one of those malls on a black friday.

Yamcha: well at the very least no one here is trying to use their Charizard to burn someone else alive over a TV.

Groudon: so many TVs were destroyed in the crossfire. I wondered if it ever would have stopped.

Logan: which was why I suggested you guys did your shopping online.

(Y/N): well believe me, I won't make that mistake twice.

As Goten was looking around, he noticed Piccolo was under a tree with his arm crossed and his eyes close.

Goten: hey big bro, there's Piccolo!

Gohan: hey Mr. Piccolo. You see mom anywhere yet?

Piccolo: not yet. Though knowing her enough, I'd imagine she'd be running late.

Gohan: oh...

Piccolo: by the way, you're not going in there dressed like that are you?

Gohan: yeah. Why do you ask?

Piccolo: oh uh......

Nail (tell him that the cape and stuff will cause him trouble during a fight).

Piccolo's mind: how the hell would that help? Especially since I've fought in tournaments with my cape on!

Kami: (then at try to change the subject quickly).

Piccolo's mind: to what?

Kami: (anything)!

Piccolo: uh....... It's nothing.

ChiChi: I wonder what's keeping Goka. Did she go to the contestant waiting area?

(Y/N): she gets one day to come back to earth. No way she'd pass up a chance to chow down on food.

You all soon heard the sound of someone appearing behind you. You looked behind to see Goka standing there along with Fortuneteller Baba.

Goka: heyo.

Gohan: mom!

Goka: man you guys really changed over the years.

You, Gohan, Krillin, Oolong, Yamcha and Puar ran up to Goka and hugged her.

Frieza: hurray, she's back. I've ever so missed her. -_-

She said clearly sounding annoyed.

ChiChi: it's great to have you back.

Goka soon noticed Goten hiding behind ChiChi.

ChiChi: Goten, she's your mother.

Goka: man, he sure did grow. You could almost mistake him for a mini me.

Goten soon poked his head out further from behind ChiChi.

Goten: mom...?

Goka walked up to him before he ran out from behind ChiChi and ran into Goka's arms.

Goten: mom!

Goka: you're pretty energetic! And pretty strong too!

Fortuneteller Baba: now remember Goka, you only have 24 hours here. Understand.

Goka: gotcha.

Fortuneteller Baba: and you're sure you understand right? I don't want to have to write sticky notes for you.

Goka: don't worry, I totally got it wrapped up and saved in my head.

Goka's mind: I gotta make sure to get a lot to eat while I'm here. It's been so long since I've been on Earth.

Fortuneteller Baba: very well. I shall see you later then.

She flew off on her magic ball.

Piccolo: we should probably head inside now and take care of the tournament registration.

Logan: good point. Don't want to miss that deadline.

You and the others signed up into the tournament. Gohan signed up in his Great Saiyaman Ego while Trunks and Goten got the Junior Division. You were all just now currently waiting for the tournament to begin. You, Groudon, Kyogre, 18, Krillin, Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta and Logan all managed to get in due to the height of the numbers each of you got from the punching machine. However, Frieza and Frostwing weren't able to get in because Vegeta broke the machine before they could even get the chance.

Frostwing's mind: man, that was a close call. It's really beast I didn't try that thing. And..... also best Frieza didn't get a chance with that thing either.

While you and the other participants sat back and watched the Junior Division happen, with you and the others who managed to get in watching from a certain part of the building, Frostwing and the rest were watching from the rest of the crowd in the seats. Goten and Trunks were completely winning their way through the competition. As that happened, Bulma and ChiChi were having to butt heads with some fat lady who got overconfident about her kids while talking down about Trunks and Goten. Eventually her kids lost and ChiChi knocked her ass out after some sly remarks from one another. The Junior Division is almost over, with the only two remaining contestants being Trunks and Goten, who are currently battling one another in the ring.

Logan: so, who do you bet on winning, (Y/N)?

(Y/N): I don't pick favorites. I've spent enough time with the two of them separately during all the time we had to train for this. Now I want to see the end of the results.

Logan: do you at least have an idea or hint on who it could be that might win.

(Y/N): well, if I were having to guess, I'd have to start with the cons the two have. For Trunks, he could possibly get a little bit too cocky in the battle and even possibly leave himself wide open. And should that happen, Trunks likely won't have.........

Announcer: Ring Out! Trunks is the winner.

Turned out that while You talking, Trunks managed to trick Goten in attempting to get him with a ki blast. When he dodged, Goten turned Super Saiyan and tried to get him. However, Trunks dodged again and fired his own ki blast, sending Goten to the stands. Gotten managed to stop himself before he could make any collision, but he was still out.

Vegeta: ha! Suck it, Kakarot!

(Y/N): though I kinda forgot that Goten can be a bit reckless when going into a match. But we're still working on that.
