"I really wish to be never born at all," Taehyung whispered to himself, thinking Jungkook was already asleep. This is one of those nights that Jungkook saw something that he shouldn't have seen. Taehyung would come to Jungkook's room and sing a lullaby to comfort his younger brother to sleep. But Jungkook only gets upset more.

Jungkook crashes into his bed the moment they reached home. As expected, their mum is not home. He heard his brothers saying that they're going out for a dinner party and won't be back home until late so he's left all alone, again. He eventually fell asleep on his bed while thinking about finding Taehyung and hugging him tightly to make sure he doesn't go away.

"Taehyung, my dear, if you had behaved, none of this would've happened," his mum said with a threatening voice, covering Taehyung's mouth with her hand. Jungkook watched as his mum straddled on Taehyung's lower region, grinding harshly while Taehyung struggled to get out of her grab. Jungkook was far too young to understand what was going on. But in that moment, he felt scared.

Taehyung noticed Jungkook peeking into his room just outside the door and they held eye contact. Taehyung was crying, as if begging for help but Jungkook just stared, frozen and not knowing what he was supposed to do. He was only 13 at that time.

As they get older, Jungkook just got into university and Taehyung had been working at a film production company. The same things still happened, drunk or not drunk, their mum would sexually harass Taehyung at night, Jungkook being a silent witness at the wrong timings. The only difference is that they hid a camera in Taehyung's room. Capturing the horrible moments of a mother, abusing her son in many ways.

Many times, Jungkook have told Taehyung to report to the police. But Taehyung only smiled at the younger, hugging him to sleep. Jungkook was traumatised by every incident, but Taehyung always managed to play it cool. Only then Jungkook had realised, Taehyung was broken. He was too broken to even realise the abuse he's been facing. He just doesn't even care what happened to him anymore.

"Jungkook, if I ever die young, I want you to run away from this place and go somewhere far. Maybe go to Bogum or Minjae's place to hide for awhile until you can find somewhere far to stay in, alright?" Jungkook remembered Taehyung once told him as they were hanging out at night in the park. Jungkook didn't understand why Taehyung wanted him to run away when he died but he just nodded his head.
