Warning : Before starting, this book might make you cringe with the amount of sweetness and clichés it has. This was something I wrote when I had my mind swimming in pool of cliches. So read it at your own risk. And yeah it's unedited. So you are going to find a bunch of grammatical errors. Kindly ignore them for now.

The vast, seemingly empty, space was filled with glittering stars. I had never noticed how lovely the night sky was, not until today. Shadowy, ribbon-like clouds were flowing around the full moon. Even the moon looks beautiful. The moon, the stars, the streaming clouds, everything glowed with it's own ominous light. Everything was perfect except for my fate and my condition.

Wounds and bruises on my skin but more than those wounds I was suffering emotionally. I lost my dad and I am the reason of his death. A knot formed on my chest then on my throat. The tragedy of losing your father in front of your own eyes is unbearable.

"They will kill you.. Run away." That was the last thing my father, the Alpha of Blue moon pack had said to me. I was compelled to run away. Despite having powers I felt weak. I was elemental. I could control fire and this was the very reason I had to spent my childhood locked up in a room, just to stay hidden.

"Don't let them in.
Don't let them see.
Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know."

That was what my father always said when my powers went out of control. I was never allowed to go out. A home tutor was appointed for me and my room was filled with everything I needed but me and my wolf wanted freedom and now when I am free, I am not at all happy. My father had promised to take me out on my birthday and today it's my 18th birthday but who knew this would happen.

My thoughts were broken when I heard growls of wolf and I could hear the rustling of leaves. Within moments my dress was ripped out from my body and I transformed into my wolf form Niti.

She's a white wolf, it's rare to have such a wolf and moreover I transformed in a very early age. I started running in my wolf form.

I had no idea as to where I was running to. I had no sense of direction but still I ran as fast as I could. Finally when I was sure no one was behind me. I stopped and transformed back into my human self and quickly wore my clothes which I had carried in my small duffel before leaving the pack house with my father.

I looked around and nothing seemed familiar. I tried mind linking my brother, Abhi but all my efforts to contact him went in vain. I was hopeless and there was no way I could find my way back home with my weakening senses.

A few more attempts of trying to mind link my brother and I was all drained. My knees wobbled and my vision slowly blurred. My feet gave up and I was ready to kiss the ground but right then a strong odour hit my nose and my wolf started behaving strangely.

And the next thing I remember I was engulfed in someone's warmth. With my half eyes open I tried seeing the face of person who saved me but my eyes betrayed me and I lost my consciousness.

"Mine." This was all I heard before I completely lost my consciousness.

M A N I K

"Her vitals are all normal. She just fainted from over exhaustion. Her bruises however are a bit severe but the medicine I applied on her will heal it in no time." The pack doctor, Maria said in a pacifying tone.

I nodded my head and signalled her to leave. It hadn't been a moment that the doctor left, someone knocked on the door.

"Al..alpha.. Raj sir is..calling yo..you." The omega stuttered.

"Just leave." The fiery venom spat from my mouth. My rage increased infinite times as I saw my mate, lying there on the bed, with no movement. Her face seemed pale and her hands and shoulders were wounded. I could feel this constant urge to kill the person who did this to her.

My unplanned evening stroll in the woods lead me to her. The moment her alluring scent had hit my nostrils, I knew she was my mate. There was no denying.

"I hate to see her like this." My wolf, Parth said.

"And so do I." I replied back."The one who did this to her is gonna pay for this."

I immediately blocked him when I saw her squirming in her sleep. Her eyes were battling to open and she did open her eyes but closed it again, probably due to the bright streak of light. It took her few moments to adjust to the falling light and when she did, she looked around.

She immediately realized the unfamiliar surrounding, making her face scrunch in worry. She sat up in a jiffy and her face clearly reflected fear. I stretched my hand to hold hers but she immediately moved backward clutching the duvet close to her beautiful face.

"Stay away.. Don't... har..harm me." She stuttered, shutting her eyes tightly. I couldn't see her like that. I am her mate. She shouldn't be scared of me.

"I can never harm you. You are my mate." I tried sounding as soft as I could.

"You can't be my mate...you can't."
