Manik's Pov.

I m getting ready for the party, after taking rest. I just came from the bathroom, fully freshen up. Just then my eyes falls on the parcel which is containing my dress for the party, which is delivered to me some minutes back when I was sleeping, and because of the knock I woke up and received the parcel.

I opened the parcel, take out my attire from it. And I was impressed with the choice of selecting dresses, as it was so cool and classy. Perfect. I mumbled and started wearing it. I wore a black pant, along with the white shirt, and black coat. Next, the tie of red color. Wow. All are my favorite colours, in one. I checked myself in the mirror, after wearing it. And I look handsome. Hehe. I smiled on my own thought. And started settling my hairs, combing it.

Manik's Attire

When, I was settling my hair, suddenly I remembered my last encounter with Nandini, and I smiled. And I pool into the past.

Some hour's ago.

Me n Nandini were so happy, and lost in our world. Having OUR time. When that bloody chipku Aryaman came from somewhere with the bouquet in his hands.

He came n took Nandini in a hug for long 30 seconds. Jerk. Kisi aur ki gf ko koi itni der tk gale lagata h kya.. huh. And handed the bouquet to her. And Nandu smiled wholeheartedly. Huh. Then I came to know, that she loves orchids, their fragrance the most. And I felt a ping amount of anger and guilt in my side, that how much less I know about her, and that bloody chipku knows about her the most.

I felt, Kash I came around Nandini before Aryaman, so then nobody knows her better than me. But, now I can't change it. Bear it Manik, I thought and kept mum with my head low.

Nandini thanked him and hugged him, and I can't help it, being jealous. I was filled with anger n jealousy. Then that Chipku said..

I remembered everything related to u Nandini!

Bloody, Jerk. Trying to flirt with Nandu. With My Girl. I clenched my hands into a fist as tight as I could. If he is not a friend of Nandini, then definitely I would have punched him right there. But, I controlled. I seriously didn't know how, but I did. Then Nandu being a innocent girl, smiled at him and invited him to the party, I mean seriously, that party was for us. Fab5, Navya n Nandini only. But no, usse toh apne so called "friend" ko bhi bulana h na. If he is not come then party will be incomplete. Right. Arghhh.

Anger rise in me, but before it will explode n come out, thank god that Chipku left. But the anger still left in me, a bit. I wanted to confront Nandini for invited Aryaman, but I waited for it, wanna do when both of us will alone.

I get a right time, when all are friends, goes inside their particular rooms, and Nandu nd I were left only.

She was about to enter in her room, when I held her wrist and pulled her angrily, to nearby wall. And due to my sudden pull, her head got bang to the wall, loudly. And she yelled in pain. Shittt. I murmured. And in a swift move, I started rubbing her head where it got hit.

I really felt guilty on my this act, I should have pulled her carefully, she looked at me angrily. Oh god. Yea, she must be angry ofcourse. I always pulled her achanak only. I immediately whispered a sorry but it seemed that I unforgiven by her, hearing my sorry, her anger even increased.

Wow. Manik, only some time back u confessed her feelings to her and in just a short span of time, u hurt her and got her angry on u, unique boyfriend you are. I thought. And its true, I mean who does that, only Manik Malhotra. Shit yr, now I have rectify my mistake soon, otherwise this tiny girl, would blast on me and then ho gyi party, meri toh. Yhi party, bana degi ye meri.

Manik, kuch soch beta jldi. I was thinking something when she glared at me n said..

"What the hell, Manik aise koi pull krta h kya, u know kitni zor ki lgi mujhe....aaaoo"

She said, and I immediately hugged her, and said.. 'Im so so sorry baby, I didn't mean to do that, sorry baby. I said while kissing her head time to time, trying to ease the pain with my kisses. And it worked, as she hugged me back, her head was resting on my chest and she nuzzle more into my chest, I felt she smiled a little and blush. But Blush Y. I thought. But then I realized that I call her baby for the first time. I smiled sheepishly. And trying to broke the hug, so that I can see her blush but she didn't give in, and hugged me more tight, and her short, fragile figure perfectly fitted with my body. Like only she meant to be there in it. I smiled thinking this. And hug her more tightly, though there was no gap between us, but still I kept taking her into me, wanna merge her body into me. 

That was a perfect moment, she is in my arms, so close to me, listening my heartbeats. Nothing can be perfect, as this. Having my love in my arms, so close, and I'm at my peace, in heaven, and I forgot the whole world, my tensions, anger or anything, nothing would be there anymore. Just peace. She is indeed my solace.

We kept on the same position, for some more time. And then finally drift apart, I looked at her, and she finally smiled, saying..its ok, now its not hurting.  
Hassh. So much relief her smile n words give me. But I deliberately again said sorry baby, just to assure, that she is fine. And specially to see her blush.

And she blushed again, hearing baby from my mouth, again. Hayee, how much I love to see her blushing on my words. She blushed on my mere word. That's shows I effect her in a same way, like she effects me.

"Its ok, Manik". She said blushingly, looking down.

"Ok baby". I said, make her blush more. 

She looked up at me for a second, in a amaze look and again looked down.. and I smirk, how cute she looks, like that.

"Manik...don't call me that, Plzz". She said after a pause.

"Kya baby" I said, though I know what she meant. But I thought to tease her..

"This, Manik". She said a little irritated, on me for not understanding n stopping.

"This, what baby". I said, because how come I leave her so easily. I'm Manik Malhotra, after all. 😉

"Offoo, Manik.. this 'baby' word, stop saying me that." She said pissed now.

"Achaa, baby word" I said innocently, as if I really didn't understand before.

"But, ismein burai kya h, baby.. Tum ho bhi ek..ek..." I spoke again, and left my sentence in middle and raise my hand to show her height, which is equal to a baby.

"Manikkkkk" She said, understand my actions and pushed me in anger.

And I laugh aloud. Her angry expression was worth watching. She shoot daggers at me when saw me laughing. And I controlled my laughter.

I goes towards her and kisses her both cheeks, lovingly and said...

"U look too cute baby, while blushing., Your cheeks turns totally tomato. And when u r angry, ur chhotu nose bloom. (Kissed her nose, while saying.) Ur big doe eyes, become more bigger. (Kissed them too). And your juicy lips, become more delicious. (Pecking her lips)".

I said, and she just listening n watching my act, obediently. And after I finished, she blushed, and I smiled sheepishly. She is such a cute chhotu baby. I love her so much.

"Manik, go now n rest, otherwise you got no time for rest. And phr party mein bhi jana h na.." She said, coming out of her blushing session, after sometime.

And her talk reminds me that why I pulled her. So I said..

"Yea, yea Party, huh kya party ab. U ruin all fun". I said sadly plus angrily.

And she made a confused look. And said hain..  I understood, that she didn't get my words. So I again said.

"Hain kya hain...tumne Aryaman ko kyun bulaya party mein.. vo nhi aayega toh party nhi hogi kya.."  I said annoyingly.

"Aww, Manik u still jealous. *Laughs* .
Aryaman, mera friend h Manik. And ye party, sirf hamare liye nhi h, hamare friends ke liye bhi h..". She said calmly.

I made a poker face, still not liking Aryman coming to the party.

"So, hamare friends h na Fab5 n Navya. I toh didn't invite Soha in the party." I said.

"Toh invite her na, who's stopping you." She said.

And I shocked, she is saying this, can't believe it. So, I asked Really?? And she nodded.

"But, keep her away from you. I'm telling you, if this time she tries to touch u in a wrong way, then don't blame me for what happen with her next. Ok" She said giving me warning.

And I smiled lopsidedly, biting my half lower lips.

"Ok" I said showing her that I'm scared with her warning.

In return, she smiled nd said.. good.

"Now, go Manik take rest, ok ..bbye. Party mein milte h.." She said and turned to opened the door of her room.

But I didn't said, anything and quietly followed her. She opened and enters and turns to me. And asked "what" through her eyes.

"Nothing, taking rest, abhi u only said na." I said shrugging my shoulders, & make my way to the bed.

"What u think.. r u doing, Mr.Malhotra". She said holding my wrist, restricting me to sit on the bed.

"What,yr Nandini abhi toh btaya na maine, resting aur kya..dekho I'm so tired, so Plz let me take a shot nap, and u too take a nap, u also tired na.." I said freeing my hand from her hold, and again tries to sit on the bed.

"Ohh no no no, Manik u r not resting here, with me. Go to your room right now, and rest there." She said shrieking a little and stopped me again from sitting.

"Kyun, yha kya problem h, Main toh yhi sounga, bas". I said as I wanted to spend all the time with her only. But she being she, not allowing me.

She looked at me angrily and said..

"Manik, I said na no, what if someone comes there then, what if our friends ya parents come, koi kya sochega."

"Koi nhi aayega relax..U taking tension unnecessarily Nandini."
I said and sits on the bed. And little annoyed now..

"No, Manik, go to your room na, Acha nhi lgta, Just go..Plzz". She said cutely.

And I sighed, as I couldn't resist her cute face. I said ok reluctantly. And stood up to leave. She opened the door for me and I came out but before leaving I said.

"Ms.Murthy, don't think that, like today, your cuteness work everytime on me."

I said and smirkingly. And she nodded mouthed a ok. And I turn to leave, but she called me.. so I turn and said..what

She smiled sheepishly, and tip toed to match my height, and kissed my cheek, giving me a chaste kiss, holding my another cheek.

And I couldn't help, but smile wholeheartedly. And I said bye to her, she too waved, and I turn to leave and she closed the door. She literally know, how to mend my mood. I thought and ruffled my hair, biting my lips and smiled fully on my thought. And enter to my room. And off to sleep.

Flashback over.

I smiled and hurriedly got ready, now I can't wait to meet her. I set my hair, splash the perfume on my body. And took a last glance on myself.

I come out of my room and knock the door of her room, but not get any response. I frown. Umm. Must be sleeping. I thought. But it's already time for the party, so I thought to wake her up. I knocked again, this time loudly and called her meanwhile.

This time, I got response from her. Ha, Manik. Bolo.

Her voice sounded low, did she crying kya.. I got worried. So, I asked..

"Nandini, what happened, r u not ready for party yet, listen it's already 10:30, chlo. Come out we'll go together.."

"Manik, tum jao, main aa jaungi.. aur ha muje kuch nhi hua, tum jao, I'll come."
She said and I frowned as I still not convince with her answer mujhe-kuch-nhi-hua.

"Nandini, come out na, hum dono sath jaenge, muje tumhare sath jana h..." I said and make her to come out and see her myself, fit n fine. And also make her ready to go with me.

"Manik, u go, I'm still not fully ready for the party, And plus I have a surprise  for u, so please go na. I'll come. Plzz.
She requested.

And I smiled on the thought that she has a surprised for me. Wow. That's interesting. I'm excited now.

"Nandini, I don't liking it, tumhare bina jana but still, don't wanna spoil ur surprise, toh I'm going but please tum jldi aana... Ok." I said still didn't wanna go.

"Ha pakka, Manik, u go". She said.

I sighed and leave for the party helplessly. While going I call Cabir, to know where he is n everyone. He received in a second ring and before I speak, he spoke first.

"Hello, Manik kahan h tu, we all are waiting at party for you n Nandini. Jldi aa.."

"Ha Cabir, I'm on my way only. Aa rha hu. I just called to check on u n everyone. Chill aa rha hu." I said. And hang up.

Then I called Soha for inviting her to the party. I talked to her n she agreed to come.

And I enter into the party,a nd wow. The hall looks amazing. There is so many people already present there. The hall was dark a little, actually mixed lights were on, and in a side there is a set up of dj, in which soft music were playing on, and on up there were balloons, covering the full hall. Then, I roam my eyes to the other side where there is a drink counter. I look for my friends and found them there, at drink counter. So I made my way to them.

I greeted everyone with smile. And they asked... Manik, where is Nandini, sath nhi aayi tere.."

And before I say something to them, they all said in unison..

"Lo aa gyi.."

And I abruptly turned to look at her, and I was shocked...
