All were happy on amms approval for manan marriage. They decided it to be held in a fully traditional way in India, the next month. Fab5 suggested it to be held on the Valentine's Day, i.e., 14th February. Manik loved the idea and asked for amms suggestion who greatly agreed for it. Soon all of them decided to go back to their hotel, when kavya said,
Kavya: I will stay with manik chachu..
Navya: kavya.. manik chachu is staying here, we need to go back to the hotel.
Kavya: no I'll stay here
Navya: kavya chachu needs to rest na... lets go
Kavya( to cabir): daddy.. say to maa na... I want to stay here only
Cabir: baby mamma is right ..... for now we'll go & then tomorrow mrng we'll again come to meet chachu...
Manik: cabir... let her be. I will take care to her
Navya: she'll disturb u all night... u 1st take care of urself, then think about her.
Manik: navya... plz I promise, she'll be fine.
Navya looked towards cabir & asked him..... he signaled her to let kavya stay. Nandini noticed her tension & said
Nandini: don't worry navya... I'll take care of her.
Cabir: not only her... Manik too is not less than a kid.
All the others laughed at it & rishab again left to drop them all. Manik played with kavya for sometime & then nandini told them to sleep & she herself too got back to her room. Manik tried a lot but kavya wasn't ready to sleep at all. About an hour latr nandini was going past his room to get water 4 herself, when she heard some noise frm his room. She got in n found manik trying to make kavya sleep, but failing. She sat on the bed & asked kavya to lie down... she signaled manik if he could sing a song for kavya so that she could sleep. Manik sang a nice soft song while nandini kept on caressing her face & within 5 mins kavya was fast asleep.
Manik: wow... u seem to be very experienced in all this..
Nandini: when appa & amma passed away, rishab was even more younger than her... so I got a habbit of making him sleep every night like this ever since I was 11 yrs old. I used to sing 4 him every night like this only.
Manik just smiled at her.
Nandini : now u sleep properly n take rest..... I'll take her to my room.
Manik: r u sure... will u b able to sleep.
Nandini: don't worry I m used to handle kids...
Manik: ohk good night....
Nandini got up & picked kavya in her arms, manik gently kissed kavya's cheek. Nandini smiled at him n was about to go out when manik stopped her n kissed her forehead too. She took her to her room n slept. Next mrng, at 4 am, amms entered manik's room n found him sleeping peacefully. She then went to nandini's room & saw her sleeping with kavya... kavya had hugged her tightly & was sleeping peacefully. She smiled at it & covered both of them with the blanket. A few hrs latr manik got up n went to nandini's room & smiled at the same scene. He quietly sat down on the couch & was staring at the two & smiling. Half n hour latr nandini got up & saw manik
Nandini: manik u here... kuch chahiye kya..
Manik got up, went closer towards her & kissed her cheek,
Manik: good morng..
Nandini slowly removed kavya's hand over her & got up,
Nandini: good mrng manik... but what r u doing here..
Manik: nothing just watching 2 beautiful fairies sleeping peacefully.
Nandini smiled at him & then told him to go back to his room n get ready otherwise kavya would get up..
That day all of them, went out to the city outskirts, to njoy sometime 2gether .... Out of the city to make sure that no one could recognize them. They played some games remembered their college days & njoyed a lot. After that they all decided to go for a movie, and hence rishab bought the tickets for all & then all got into the theater covering their faces. Nandini was especially concerned about manik very much. Time to time she used to ask him whether he was alright & if he needed rest. And sometimes even to give him his medicines. Every1 was happy to see her that way. They enjoyed the movie very much but as they got out of the hall a crowd of Indian fans & a few reporters were waiting for them. Some1 had recognized them while entering. Cabir tried to hide manik but they had already seen him. But before they could come near fab5, manik turned towards abhi n said,
Manik: take nandini n rishab frm the other side & no one knows that they were with us..
Abhi nodded & asked nandini to follow him.
Manik: nandini go to the car, v r coming.
Nandini: but manik.... Take care frm the crowd & don't u dare stress ur wounds.
Manik smiled at her n nandini & rishab left with abhi, as fab5 got surrounded by the crowd & the reporters started,
R1: u all said that manik malhotra wasn't with u... but he is here, then y were u all lying..
Cabir: he was already here before we came.
R2: is manik now fully recovered.
Manik: yes I m fine now & will soon address the fans soon..
R1: so r the differences btw fab5 sorted or r u still trying just to pretend in front of the media.
Manik: there can never b any differences between fab5, we rn't a band, v r a family.... So never believe in such stupid rumors.
R2: what were u doing in London sir??
Manik: I was here just for a peaceful recovery...
R3: so what are u all planning for the days to come.
Mukti: that u'll get to knw in the coming days, 4 now, if u'll plz excuse us we r getting late.
Cabir picked up kavya in his arms & crossed the crowd followed by the others. They got out & entered their cars & left.
Mukti: can't these fucking ppl leave us alone... whats there problem??
Nandini: relax mukti.... They r behind u bcoz they love u... don't mind them!!
A few more days passed by & fab 5 successfully kept themselves away from the media.... 10 days latr they all were going to get back to India.... With nandini & her family. They boarded the flight to India.
Aliya: nandini will stay with me n dhruv..
Navya: no they'll stay with us....
Manik: don't worry guys I hv already prepared their stay at my place.
Abhi: u r the groom, the bride can't stay with u till the marriage....
Manik made a puppy face & turned towards nandini "really...??", nandini nodded her head in a yes.
Navya: so they'll stay with us.... Moreover aliya u won't b able to handle all the Indian ceremonies... its better they stay with us..
Aliya: ohk fine then...
The flight landed n cabir switched on his cell. He saw a msg frm their manager that the media is waiting 4 them outside the airport. So navya took nandini's family along with kavya frm the other side, while fab5 passed through the crowd avoiding all their questions. Manik wanted his marriage 2 b a secret 4 the public. He had decided to involve only a few ppl in it. Dhruliya & mukbhi went to their respective homes & manbir went to cabir's place, where navya was already there with the others. The elders were already settled in their rooms & were taking rest when manik entered. Kavya was fast asleep. Manik told Cabir to call him if he needed any help & was about to leave when nandini said,
Nandini: manik.... I wanted to talk to u...
Manik: yes nandini... say...
Cabir sensed that it was something serious & asked nandini to take manik to her room & talk. As they entered the room, manik closed the door & hugged nandini frm her back.
Manik: I can't believe v r here & u r going to b all mine in just a matter of some days.
Nandini rested her head on his chest & closed her eyes.
Nandini: thank u manik.. thank u 4 everything.
Manik: I m not doing this 4 u.... but 4 myself..
Nandini: manik actually I wanted 2 request u 4 something..
Manik: u just say whats it... no matter whatever u ask I'll fulfill all ur wishes...
Nandini: manik.... Actually i....
Manik: nandini!! Just say it...
Nandini: I wished that nyonika ma'am also takes part in our wedding.
Manik loosened his grip round her waist & stood silent. Nandini turned towards him & caressed his face saying,
Nandini: manik I knw u don't like her..... and I too hv not liked her much.... But whatever it is, manik she is ur mother n -
Manik: ya the so called MOTHER..
Nandini: manik whatever it is at least just invite her once, 4 d main ceremonies only. If she doesn't come then its fine, but if she does then at least we'll get her presence 4 a few hrs.
Manik: nandini, nyonika is not worth trusting..... u do not knw what kind of a lady she is...
Nandini: when did I say that I want to trust her.... I just said that I want her to see that now u r not alone, I m with u & no matter how much she hates me, she is no more authorized to do anything.
Manik just stayed quite.
Nandini: manik..... plz!!
Manik: ohk.... Only if u say... but only for the ceremonies & that too just as a guest.
Nandini: (hugging him) thank u.... thank u very much....
Manik: I love u...
Nandini: ohk now u go home & take proper rest... otherwise I won't tlk to u...
Manik: ohk...
Manik left the room & came out; Cabir saw his face disturbed & asked,
Cabir: kya hua manik...
Manik: nandini wants nyonika also 2 b invited 4 all the ceremonies.
Cabir: so...???
Manik: so?? What do u mean by so??? Don't u knw that I want to keep nandini as far away from nyonika as possible.
Cabir: chal don't worry, we all will keep an eye on her, all the time......
Manik: hmnn... chal bye, I hv to go n take rest properly, otherwise sum1 is gonna give me a tough punishment.
Cabir: ohh Dr. Nandini Moorthy is back. (Laughing)
Manik left his place & reached home, he had rest 4 about 3 & a half hrs. as soon as he got up he called at Cabir's landline ,
Navya: hello
Manik: hey navya, manik here...
Navya: manik tum landline par.... Cabir toh nhi h...
Manik: no actually mujhe puchna tha ki nandini has got up or not. I didn't wish to disturb her by calling her cell phone.
Navya: aww so cute.... U knw if 8 yrs ago any1 would hv told me that u care 4 sum1 so much, I would hv laughed at him... and now... and yes ur nandini has got up, but don't call her now...
Manik: why??
Navya: bcoz at present she is with Amms..... she saw some bad old dream about her parents & was crying after that....
Manik: Crying?? OMG is she fine now... should I come over there??
Navya: manik relax u can talk to her a few mins latr....
Manik: ohk...
Manik disconnected the call. Nandini had seen the same dream, about her parent's death, & was crying very badly, resting her head on Amms laps. Just then her phone rang. She picked it up to see ,who was it & the screen flashed manik's name. Amms saw his name & said,
Amms: u go n talk to him... Stop crying now... My nandu is much stronger.
Nandini faked a smile & went out towards her room. She knew manik would get worried to hear her crying so she disconnected the call. But manik kept on calling again and again. On the 4th time she picked up & tried to talk in a normal voice,
Nandini: hello..
Manik: why weren't u picking up my call...
Nandini: manik I was sitting with Amms, that's why...
Manik: no, u weren't picking up my call coz u were crying... right??
Nandini: how do u knw??
Manik: ur voice cn tell me everything..
Nandini: who actually I was missing maa & appa... they would hv been so happy had they been alive.
Manik: they r still happy I m sure.... Now stop crying
Nandini: ohk I won't cry...
Manik: good, now I hv 2 do some work, so I m going to the office.... I will come to meet u while returning ohk...
Nandini: hmm.... But don't take much stress...
Manik: yes Doctor....
Manik went to the office & was warmly welcomed by Cabir, Dhruv & mukti. He finished some of the very important work. After sometime Cabir entered his cabin.
Cabir: manik tujhse kuch puchna tha....
Manik: Cabir... kitni bar bola h... itna formal mat hua kar.... Ye company jitni meri h usse zyada tum charo ki h...
Cabir: (smiling) who actually the album which v recorded last month, the producer wants to release it this week.... As it's the love month starting frm today onwards...
Manik: ya I knw... its 1st feb today...... but which album r u talking about.
Cabir: that romantic one, which we recorded on the day, when u had that accident....
Manik: ohh yes I remember... so whats there to ask me about it....
Cabir: actually mukti has a very nice idea but we don't knw whether u'll agree to it or not.
Manik: chal.....
Cabir: kahan??
Manik: areey sab sath me baat karte h na...
Manik took him to mukti's cabin & asked the peon to call Dhruv as well. And then all the 4 sat together & manik said,
Manik: ab bata mukti kya idea h.....
Mukti: see manik.... we know how u were able to write all the five songs of this album all alone n that to in just three days..... As we read the lyrics, we were sure that u hv simply written them remembering nandini....... Moreover this was also reason behind ur accident, that day we recorded the album & u were missing nandini a lot & thus u were driving with ur mind busy somewhere else...
Manik: mukti... come to the point directly.
Dhruv: buddy mukti wants u to officially dedicate that album to nandini & release it with the news of ur marriage.
Manik: but guys my marriage is 14 days latr & the producer wants to release it this week.
Cabir: manik.... we r d fab5.... We made that album cant v keep it at hold 4 one more week.... And moreover if v do so then its earning's will increase by twice, I don't think the producer should hv any problem.
Manik: guys its not just my album, its ours & I don't want to do this...
Mukti: that's what I m saying.... If v do so then this will b a gift 4 nandini from our side..... From the 5 of us.... From FAB5...
Dhruv: buddy I think mukti is right... nandini will be really happy
Manik: r u guys sure...
All: yes
Manik got up & hugged all of them.
Cabir: so its decided, the next day of ur marriage, i.e., 15th feb, we'll keep a release cum reception party 4 d 2 of u in which media will also be invited.
Mukti: ya.... But before that v need to make a special video ... hving all the 5 songs of that album clubbed together with our pictures with nandini all together.... A few of manik's pictures with nandini.... And a few which we'll click during the marriage.
Dhruv: awesome idea mukti...... all d fans will watch the video online on every site & it will help us advertise the album as well.
Manik: as u all wish...
Mukti: ohk so I & aliya will select the pictures ourselves...
Manik: done!! I too hv a few at my place, I'll send u those as well.
Mukti: and manik don't u dare mention this to nandini.... It will be a surprise for her... she gets to knw it directly on the release date
Manik: sure...
Mukti: ohk so now I m going home... Abhi must b waiting 4 me..... bye..
She hugged manik & all of them left her room.
Dhruv: I too hv to leave, aliya wasn't well in the afternoon...
They all started heading home, when manik said to Cabir.
Manik: hey I m coming with u...
Cabir: why??? Its late man
Manik: actually... I wanted to meet kavya
Cabir: hmn kavya or kavya's chachi....
Manik: no seriously mujhe kavya se hi milna h
Cabir: don't pretend manik.... I knw u very well... come lets go!!!
With this manbir headed towards Cabir's place.
