The clock showed 12.00 am and Valentine's Day have started. Manik was waiting for that only. He quickly msgd Nandini.

Happy Valentine's Day......😘

But Nandini was fast asleep as she have to wake up early in the morning. With a hope to see her soon tomorrow Manik too slept. Early in the morning Nandini woke up and got changed for the day.

She plugged her phone for charge and that's when she saw Manik's msg. She blushed and replied the same to him. With a smile she came down and called loudly to Chachi.

It was an alert tone coz few times Nandini have caught chacha busy romancing with Chachi in kitchen and today is valentines toh both the elders don't leave a chance to express their love and to not to catch them in a loving position she yelled and entered in kitchen and as expected Chacha was there in kitchen.

She wished them morning and then kissed their cheeks to wish them Valentine's Day. After that Nandini opened all the lids of the Crockery to see what special Chachi have made for valentines.

It was all her and Chacha's favourite dish. She kissed her cheek and then they settled to have breakfast. On the other hand Manik woke up with the sound of alarm which he had purposely kept. He got up and saw Nandini's msg. He smiled and got ready and rushed out of the house. While going towards his car Manik msgd Nandini.

Ma-I won't be able to pick you up so let's meet directly at college.

He sat in his car and drove away while Nandini had a gala time at breakfast table. She also delivered cakes that were for orders. Now it was time to leave for college. She picked up her phone and again saw Manik's msg. She replied an okay to him and got ready for college.

While getting ready the idea to gift Manik striked her mind and she stopped abruptly. She opened her cupboard and removed her pig bank. She opened it and removed cash from that. She counted and took with her around 15,000 rs.

She kept that safely in her wallet and came down to see chacha reading the newspaper. Well he have taken a holiday to spend quality time with Chachi and was waiting for Nandini to leave for college.

Nandini bid bye to them and came out of the house. She didn't take any vehicle as she was thinking while walking that what gift she should give to Manik. She was thinking and desired to give something that matches his personality.

After thinking lots she took an auto and reached her desired destination. Entering in the shop she looked for the perfect gift for him. After looking 100 of things she choose one as she liked it the best one from all of them.

She paid for the gift and asked the shopkeeper to gift wrap it. Keeping that safely in her bag she headed to college. Today she knew many lectures might get cancel or may be delayed and at the normal case there will be 5% of attendance then the usual class coz many ppl are going to celebrate Valentine's Day.

She reached college peacefully and walked to her class. Meanwhile fab4 entered the college at the usual time with their fab5 attitude and aura. They looked around and found valentines being celebrated at its peak.

They felt all this ways of expressing love a waste or stupid coz their way of showing love is different (which is not). Well they entered in jam room to get the warmth of morning sunrise. They entered in and settled in the jam room. They were waiting for Manik but there was no news from his side.

After one lecture Nandini's another lecture was cancelled as the teacher herself was absent. The class got empty as there is no use to sit there without any purpose. She dcd to go to library as there was nothing else to do. She got out of her class and was walking to go to library.

On the other hand fab4 were just waiting for Manik. Being bored they got out of their jam room to go to canteen as they all thought that Manik is with Nandini and he doesn't feel important to tell them abt his whereabouts but at one point fab4 saw Nandini walking alone and they came face to face.

Nandini looked at them but muklya's facial expression showed that they were not happy. Nandini didn't react much coz she was not there to please them. Yes she respected them coz they were Manik's friend but in other way she doesn't care other then people whom she loves. The girls Cold War was interrupted by cabir who wished her.

C-happy Valentine's Day Nandini......

Nan-happy Valentine's Day cabir.....

She looked at Dhruv and said.

Nan-happy Valentine's Day Dhruv........

Dhruv too gave her an acknowledgement nod and said.

D-wish you the same........

They exchanged smiles (and wished them just like friends like we did in schools.....at least in my school we did wish our girl friends too so...)
After that the situation between them became awkward as cabir asked Nandini.

C-Nandini.......Manik kaha hai........

Nandini replied casually.

Nan-I don't know.......woh mera sath nhi hai.......mei toh abhi tak lecture mei thi.......

C-okay........

Muklya walked away from there as they were not interested in their conversation while cabir said.

C-humlog canteen ja rhe hai......want to join us.......

Nan-nhi muje library jana hai.......

C-okay.......

Trio exchanged good bye looks and walked to their destination. Nandini came in library and choose one subject to study. She took few books and digest to study and sat on one chair at a peaceful place and started studying.

As she was fully concentrated on her study she dcd to bunk one lecture as nothing important might be taught coz of Valentine's. After studying continuously for 2 hours Nandini dcd to stop or else she might fall asleep.

Fab4 were just strolling around themselves as Manik still haven't arrived and for Nandini after getting out of the library she came to the restroom to get fresh. She washed her face to let go of the sleepiness and then looking at herself in mirror and straightening her hair with her hands and all she came out.

She called up Manik to ask him as to where he was but he didn't pick up the call. She came in an empty room and started tuning her veena as she had nothing to do.

Like this it was 2.00 of afternoon. Finally Manik came back in light. He looked at his watch to look at the time and then sat in his car and drove away. He was tapping his fingers on his steering wheel and thinking while driving. Reaching his desired destination he entered in the shop to buy a gift for Nandini.

Same was his case like Nandini. He looked for many things and out of 100 of things he choose something simple yet special. Taking the gift bag he came back in his car and now drived towards college.

He entered the college and first he went to jam room. He entered in to see highly bored and irritated fab4 over there doing nothing and fab4 saw him with a high quality paper bag. They chuckled as they knew it might be for Nandini.

Manik entered casually and kept the bag on the table in their room and came to the rest of them. Cabir and Dhruv wished him valentines by hugging each other brotherly. Manik took initiated and wished muklya who instead of wishing back asked him as to where he was.

Ma-kuch kaam tha so was stuck with that.....

Aa-don't tell us that your stucking work was related with Nandini.

Ma-don't worry.......time will reveal all your answers........anyways what's next.......

Mu-aur kya jamming.

C-nhi abhi lunch time hogaya hai and I need food........warna mei drums se music nhi sirf shor machaoga........

Mu-okay then let's go.......

Fab4 headed out and Manik picked his bag and headed together towards canteen. They entered the canteen and Manik looked around for Nandini and didn't find her. He thought that again she missed her lunch.

He msgd her as to where she is and she told her that she is at the staircase. Manik asked her abt lunch and she said that she have done. She asked him where he was and he told he was in college canteen with fab4. Like this their conversation went on going and cabir ordered for everyone.

After an elaborate lunch they dcd to head back to jam room but Manik told them that he will join them soon. He came near staircase and saw Nandini sitting their and resting her head with the wall.

He removed the gift he bought for her and climbed down the stairs silently. He came exactly a step behind her and then bend down.

Soon Nandini felt a cold metal touching her neck skin and she flinched a little in fear. She turned around and found Manik who was tying the small simple chain he got for her.

Nandini looked down and saw a simple gold chain with a pearl as a locket. She held the pearl and Manik sat beside her.

Ma-happy Valentine's Day........

Nandini smiled and both mutually came close and hugged each other for a good time.

Being in the hug Nandini said.

Nan-happy Valentine's Day to you too......

Manik kissed her on her shoulder being in the hug.

After like a never ending hug they moved away and looked at each other. After few mins of their beautiful eye lock Nandini too removed the gift box from her bag and gave to him.

Nan-yeh tumhare liye........

Manik took the box and said.

Ma-yeh kya hai...........?

Then he opened the gift wrapper and then the box to find out an elegant black watch. Looking at it Manik said.

Ma-wow.......

Nandini took that from his hand and removed the watch from the box and kept the empty box on the stairs. She took his hand and removed his watch that he was wearing and made him wear that. While she was busy in that Manik asked her.

Ma-itni expensive watch kyu.......?

Nan-khud toh aise bol rhe ho jaise khud ne raste se Kharid k diya ho........

Then she looked at his jacket sleeves and then rubbing the mud on it and she asked.

Nan-yeh mitti kaha se laga kar aaye ho........?

Manik looked everywhere as his "chori pakri gayi ho" and Nandini looked at him anxiously to know his answer. To divert their attention Manik said.

Ma-tumhe gift kaisa laga.......?

Nan-changing the topic......fine.......

They were interrupted by a phone call. Nandini looked at it and it was from Chachi. She had called to tell her that chacha have planned a surprise for her (Chachi) and they are going out. May be they return by night to which Nandini said in her leg pulling tone.

Nan-haan haan jao jao......aap bhi valentines celebrate karo........meri full permission hai......aap bhi kya yaad rakhogi.......

Cha-chup kar badmash.......

Nandini giggled and Chachi further asked abt her plan and all and Nandini told that she will take care of herself. After that they ended the call and immediately Manik said.

Ma-sharam karo sharam.......

Nandini looked at him thinking what have she done while Manik continued to clear her question.

Ma-woh log itne bade hogai hai fir bhi ghum rahe hai aur tum itni young ho k aise yahan stair case pe bethi ho.......

Hearing him Nandini said.

Nan-tum sharam karo jo muje aise yahan pe bethaya hai.......tumhe le jana chahiye muje ghuma ne k liye.........

Ma-aur woh kyu.........?

Nan-kyu ki tum ladke ho.......

Ma-toh ladka ho toh kya.......yeh sab muje plan krna chahiye........

Nan-off course........

Manik mimicked her.

Ma-off course.........

Nandini made a bad face and then said stretching her hands.

Nan-mei toh jaa rhi ho ghar........sone........coz I m very tired.........aachi neend aayegi.......

Ma-seriously.......

Nan-hhhmm......waise bhi ab krne ko kuch nhi hai.......lectures hogai,padai bhi hogai, music practice bhi hogaya and lunch bhi........ab sirf sona baki hai.........

She counted everything on fingers and then looking at Manik she said.

Nan-tumne toh din mei kuch nhi kiya...... jamming hi kar lo........jao........

She got up and picked her bag. She looked at the watch box and Manik's old watch in that so she picked that up and closing it she gave him the box putting it in the paper bag he got.

Nan-yeh lo.......

Manik took that from her and got up. He looked at her and asked.

Ma-tum seriously ja rhi ho......?

Nan-yes.........

Bidding bye Nandini left the college and headed back home while Manik went to jam room and they all jammed for some time.
