After more than a week Manik was returning back to Mumbai with fab4. By the time he reached Mumbai boundary it was night and by this time Nandini must be in bed ready to sleep. He didn't wanted to get late so he immediately drove to her place along with fab4.     

Reaching at her place Manik gave the key to cabir so that they can take his car and reach home. Manik came out with a paper bag and then left towards Nandini's balcony. Reaching there he was trying to find a suitable thing to reach her bedroom. After not getting anything he put his bag on his wrist and made his grip of leg on the wall to climb the pipe.      

He climbed it and reached 5 steps up. He was able to hold the down part of grill coz of his height. In that process he was abt to fall but luckily he caught firm grip of the grill and now he was hanging on her grill. Again composing his grip he climbed the grill and entered in her room. He saw Nandini's room light off. Well fab4 were gone long back.     

Manik dusted his hand and then quietly opened her glass door. He entered quietly and kept his bag on her study table. He removed his footwear,watch and jacket and came up on bed. Feeling weight on the bed Nandini opened the light and found an intruder. She was abt to scream but Manik palmed his lips and whispered.      

Ma-mei ho........it's me........Manik......    

Nandini's eyes were wide and seeing him her body posture too got relaxed. Manik removed his hand and Nandini calmed down but soon she said.      

Nan-what are you doing here........aur tum room mei kaise aaye......?

Ma-I just came from Bangalore.......I was missing you so I directly came over here.......?

Nandini gave him an okay nod and then Manik said tiredly.....     

Ma-let's sleep......     

He laid down and then Nandini too was abt to lay down but she stopped mid way and asked him.     

Nan-tumne khana khaya.......?

Manik pulled her from her elbow to sleep and said.    

Ma-kha liya........    

Both slept peacefully facing each other with hands entwined.  

At morning Nandini woke up first and saw Manik sleeping peacefully. She got down from bed and started getting ready for college. She had a good bath and then came out in her college attire.

She came out with her towel around her nape. She was thinking to wake up Manik when the idea clicked her. She came on his side of bed and then took all her hair and squeezed them which resulted in all the water falling on Manik's face.      

Manik woke up on feeling the coldness of water. He opened his eyes and found a smiling Nandini standing beside him freshly bathed. He rubbed his eyes to let go off his sleep and heard her sweet soft voice.      

Nan-good morning..........    

Manik was still rubbing his eyes so Nandini said further.      

Nan-wake up we have to leave for college.      

Unwillingly Manik woke up and Nandini got back to her work of packing bags, wearing make up and accessories and lastly praying to God. Manik got up yawning and moved towards her study table whr he kept his bag last night. He had bought his pair of clothes for college. Nandini handed him a towel and Manik went to take a shower.     

Once Manik came out without his jeans Nandini turned around and Manik got ready. He was brushing his hair looking in the mirror and Nandini put his last night clothes at proper place so that Chachi doesn't see it. Once done she said.       

Nan-mei jati ho tum room se niche aajao........ balcony thik se band krna......     

Manik bobbed his head and Nandini walked down taking her bag. Manik climbed down the balcony and at last he jumped from a very little height. Nandini took a apple and rush towards Manik. She saw him dusting his hand. She came close to him and said.     

Nan-chale.........    

Ma-yes.......    

They came near the gate and Nandini thought Manik has his car but Manik was simply walking. After a moment Nandini spoke.     

Nan-tumhari gadi kider hai......?

Manik thought for a min and then replied.     

Ma-ohh haan.....gadi cabir k pass hai.....(Nandini frowned)woh kaal raat ko mei fab5 k sath hi aaya tha so I told them to take the car.   

Nan-toh ab hum college kaise jayege......?

Ma-jaise tum jati ho.......    

Nan(surprisingly)-auto se.........?

Ma-haan.......    

Nan-seriously........?

Ma-hhmm hhmmm.......   

Nan-chalo then it will be fun.......    

They walked and walked talking randomly and Manik's hand around Nandini's nape.

After walking a few distance they started searching for auto but the road was empty so they were walking with mini steps along with talking and finding an auto. In btwn they got a coconut vendor so they stopped by him and drank coconut water.    

When they were busy in drinking an empty auto passed by and Manik stopped him. They quickly finished their drink and rushed towards it. First Nandini sat and then Manik entered. 

He made himself comfortable in auto by sitting keeping his right leg on his left leg knee and hands wrapped around Nandini resting on the headboard of auto seat. Nandini took out the apple and both were munching that along with chit chatting. They never realised when they reached college though Nandini was giving directions but still.      

They stopped their auto outside college gate and Manik got down. He removed his wallet and paid the fare and soon Nandini too got down. Unfortunately this all is seen by nyonika who is fuming in anger and shame that his son is traveling in auto. She concluded that staying with a middle class girl Manik too have started behaving like a middle class boy.     

Not wanting to create a scene in college nyonika left towards her cabin and Manan walked inside the college gate to head to their classes. Manik dropped Nandini at her class and came in jam room. Nobody was present as fab4 must be sleeping giving rest to their body after Bangalore trip.     

Since he was alone he started strumming his guitar making some nice music. Half of the day passed like that only. Fab4 haven't arrived to college. Manan had lunch together and then after the end of college day Manik dropped her at her home. Well nyonika has called a driver with car for Manik.

So when Manan left the college premises the driver came to Manik and told him that he was waiting for him. Manik couldn't understand as to why the driver came but then he agreed and dropped Nandini from his car. It was night time almost dinner time. Fab4 arrived at Malhotra mansion to spend time with Manik and party.

They were settled in living room and Manik was busy in his small work upstairs. Nyonika entered the house and saw fab4 over there. Thinking to talk with them abt morning incident or as a trick to manipulate them against Nandini she walked towards them and when fab4 saw her they sat mannerly while nyonika came to them and said in her ever harsh yet sophisticated tone.     

Nyo-do you all know that Manik is spending time with that middle class girl Nandini......     

Manik heard that as he was just cmg down to fab4 but he didn't interrupt her coz he wanted to know that what is her real motive abt all this and fab4 they just looked at her and their silence said it all to nyonika so she said further.      

Nyo-how could you all let him mingle with her..........have you all forgotten our status..... the difference btwn her class and our.......... you know what happened this morning........Manik college ek rickshaw se aaya.......     

This was shocking to fab4 and Manik understood that why the driver was waiting for him while nyonika continued and remembering the incident her anger grew more.     

Nyo-meine itni facilities kyu di hai Manik ko so that he can travel in that middle class rickshaw......you all have to stop him from this.......don't you realise that fab5 ka pressure students pe se hath rha hai.......were are all those talks of fab5.......that little girl is a threat to your status........     

Manik came behind her and called her.     

Ma-nyonika.......    

Listening his voice nyonika got a little scared but gathering courage she turned around to see a smiling Manik infront of her while Manik again spoke once nyonika's focus was on him.     

Ma-kyu mere friends ko Nandini k khilaf bhadka rhi ho........just relax........    

Seeing his smile nyonika got confused while Manik continued.      

Ma-and you don't have to worry abt me....... kyu ki itne time tumne kabhi worry nhi kiya hai........and yes bas kuch samay ki baat hai then you are free........    

Saying this he turned to leave but stopped when he heard nyonika speaking.     

Nyo-tum uss middle class ladki k liye.......    

Manik cut her in btwn.     

Ma-yes.......but you know that middle class ladki has an own house or to be precise flat..... aur uss middle class ladki ko mujse pyaar hai more than my money........don't worry mei apne father jaisa nhi ho......jo ek below poverty line wali ladki se shadi ki......uss ladki se jisse sirf paise se pyaar hai.........     

Nyonika frowned first btwn when Manik indirectly told abt her she got a little conscious abt their surrounding and a little furious coz Manik was digging her past in front of his friends. So to stop him she said.      

Nyo-shut up Manik........     

Now seeing nyonika as a scared cat was making Manik happy so he thought to tease her more.    

Ma-kyu.......abhi tak Nandini topic thi so it was okay to talk infront of my friends but tumhari baat aayi toh shut up.......bhul gayi apne purane ghar ka address or to be more precise apne parents ka ghar..........chawal no.12........Malad.......     

Nyonika became overly extra conscious when Manik said that all and fab4 were looking at nyonika after knowing her childhood background.     

Nyo-I said shut up Manik........     

Ma-kyu.......kyu chup raho mei.......mere dosto ko bhi pata hona chahiye k kabhi woh kisi k madad kre (pointing at nyonika) toh jan le k woh kaha se aayi hai......kaise usne apne beauty se mere dad ko phasaya to get rich........    

Nyonika wanted to walk out but stopped when Manik said.     

Ma-you know nyonika......you are the prefect example of slumdog millionaire.......    

And then the silent mansion echoed with the sound of "THWACK". Coz nyonika landed a tight slap on Manik's cheek.  

Such that Manik's straight face turned towards his ryt. Realising the whole situation nyonika walked away from there. Manik was still digesting the fact that nyonika slapped him while fab4 for the first time saw live tiff of Manik and nyonika and the end scene made them speechless.      

Manik looked at his friends who were completely blank and he moved his tounge on his inner cheek (slightly) to control his anger.  

The air btwn them got extremely awkward. Manik looked at them for another min and then went in his room. He came down all ready to go out with his jacket and all and left the mansion without uttering a word.     

Nandini on the other hand after completing her night routine and dinner came back in her room to take a warm shower before gng to bed.     Manik reached Nandini's place and parked his car close to her balcony. Then he climbed his car roof.

Due to car and then his tall height it was somewhat easy for him to climb the grill. He entered in her room to find it empty before he could do anything he heard the sound of running water so he simply sat down on her bed waiting for her.
