The next morning, Nandini wakes up and her eyes are roaming around the room while stretching. She was just about to go and get ready but her eyes catches something and stops there and than. She sees a full table filled with different types of breakfasts. There was Continental breakfast, English breakfast, American breakfast, Indian breakfast etc. She was amazed by the different food choices that are awaiting her to relish the taste. Nandini seeing the utmost care given to her is from none other than Manik and just the thought of the support and care he has given her increases her respect for him even more. She even remembers her mother that how she used to care for her and now sees manik in her mother's footsteps. She realizes that her cheeks are wet and feels tears. She carelessly wipe those tears and than a thought stops her from all she is doing. Nandini remembers she hasn't fed the injured bird and rushes back to that old building.

News has spread like wild fire in college. There is gossip everywhere. Someone has sent all the students of the college the photo in the screencap. Now everyone thinks Nandini slept with her stepfather. There were talking rubbish about Nandini's character...
Posters defaming her innocence were posted on the walls in the college.

Nandini reached college and as she stepped in the first thing she saw made her numb. She became shocked to see the pics hanging on the walls of the college. Tears started welling up in the corner of her eyes....

Some students noticed her presence and started talking rubbish about her character....

Student1- shakal se toh aisa nhi lgta ki yeh sab kregi

Student2- arre aisi innocent ldkiye face par innocence k mask lga kar ghumti h

1 boy seeing the opportunity comes near her
Boy- (smilingly) vaise ek night k kitna leti ho tum

With this everyone started laughing. Nandini pushed his aside and ran towards the walls and starts ripping the posters down, trying to get of the memories it bought back. Tears were continuously falling from her eyes and the nonsense that people were talking about was only increasing her pain.....

A crowd of students were gathered around her to criticize her immoral behavior. Nandini couldn't do anything she was standing helpless. luckily manik was passing by and sees nandini in an awful condition. He saw the crowd talking shit about her character. Listening to such comments he started fuming in anger. He comes in just in time before she breaks down beyond repair....

manik (angerily)- SHUTT UP!! ABHI TAK KUCH BHI PROVE NAHI HUWA HAI...SO ON WHAT BASIS ARE YOU TRYING TO DEFAME NANDINI HUH!! IF I HEAR ONE WORD AGAINEST HER TALKING RUBBISH ABOUT HER CHARACTER I WOULDNT HESTITATE TO TAKE THE SHIT OUT OF YOU ALL"

Seeing manik in so much of anger the crowd dispersed before they regret later on.

Manik goes near Nandini and keep his hands on her shoulder, Nandini at once hug him. She starts crying even more. Manik tightened the hug and started consoling her....

Dhruv saw the duo and joined them. Manan broke the hug sensing someone's presence and saw dhruv standing with a satisfied smile. Nandini ran to him hugging him as tight as possible not letting go of him and even he responded.

Nandini between her sobs "Dhruv ,mai.. maine...yeh....sa....b...nhi ... kiya...h" Nandini said while stammering

"I trust you", Dhruv replied.

It gave some relief to Nandini that dhruv also trust her...

Meanwhile, the news has gotten to the ears of President of clg, Nyonika. The only solution that she comes up with is to kick the troublemakers out namely, Nandini, soha, and Maddy.

Mr saxena reminds her that she must handle this situation with more care because the outside world is watching carefully how she deals with this. If she just kicks them out, that will ruin the image of the university. He suggests that they should open a "Searching for the Truth" trial aka a mock trial with an interesting name. So, that it will be easy to kick nandini from clg as she has no proofs...

Dhruv is busy trying to find the culprit who sent out those misleading photos. He searches and searches and finally gets to know who's behind all of this....

And the culprit is none other than the evil Rose.

It happens to be that She has a lot of people's support towards her and therefore they even help her in this plan of hers.

Manik on the other hand brings the news about the mock trial....

"Nandu, tumne suna mock trial k baare main" and he tells her about it and persuades Nandini to take part in it to clear her name and get her innocence back.

"Par lawyer" said Nandini after he finishes explaining the procedure

"Arrey itna smart, hot, handsome ladka khada h saamne and you are asking for a lawyer... I will be your representing lawyer" said Manik while smiling

"Tum lawyer" said Nandini becoming confused

"Nandu, I m a law student, hmm this is my first case, but I will try my best, really" said Manik

"Par Manik meri wajah se tum apna future...." But manik didn't let her complete

"Nandu main apne future main phla koi achaa kaam krne jaa rha hoon, don't stop mee, plzzz" said Manik

Nandu smiled and Manik assures her that he won't let her down.

Meanwhile, the school nerd offers to be the lawyer for Maddy, not because he believes Maddy but rather he wants to crush Manik in court due to his personal hatred towards him...

Nyonika passes by and is surprised to see her son working his butt off. Even she notices the changes in Manik and thinks its all due to Nandini but then shoos these thoughts aside thinking this middle girl can't change her son..

Alia hears about the mock trial and calls Manik out to relax. But relaxing is not the only reason, she called him out. She gives him some useful psychological reports regarding sexual offenders and she also reminds him to look for someone with knowledge and experience in courtroom to help him with his case.

Manik smiles on seeing alya being involved in helping him winning this case

"Vaise kahi tum mujhse pyaar vyaar toh nhi krni lgi naa" said Manik casually

Alia smiles and replies "kyun friendship ki h toh help bhi toh krenge ek dusre ki, hmmmm"
Manik smiled and then she gave him some piece of information about the sexual offenders....

She tells him that knowledgeable and experience person is none other than Lawyer Mr Singh.

Manik thanked Alia for her help and left for Mr Singh's home....

Manik lingers outside the lawyer's house. But was hesistating to knock the door... But not for long, because Lawyer magically knows that Manik is outside and opens the door, welcoming the lad in.

The lad tries to put on a cool front and gives off the message I-don't-want-to-be-here-but-since-you-invited-me-in-I'll-accept-your-help....

Mr Singh smiled on his attitude....

Lawyer is very happy that Manik comes to him for help and immediately gets down to business. Pulling various books from his towering bookshelves, he flips through them, marking some pages, before handing them to Manik.

He tells Manik to read through these books as they will help him in his case and also urges him to talk to the key person in this case, Soha, and try to convince her so that she speaks against Maddy

This is their last hope and the key to this whole case. Soha, if she appears in the mock trial, will either harm or help Nandini, depending on which side she's on.

Manik leaves from there and calls Nandini to meet her outside Maddy's house.....

"Kyun, kya huwa??" Said Nandini

Manik ask her to come and cuts the call leaving no other option for Nandini rather than coming to maddy's house.. Manik also reaches there and ask nandini to stay outside.. Nandini stays outside while Manik goes in and tries his luck.....

Manik knocks the door....

Soha open the door and was going to close after seeing the person on the door but Manik holds the door...

"Plzz I want your 10 minutes only" said Manik

Soha lets him in...

He comes and sits on the sofa kept near the door and makes himself comfortable, Soha also sits in front of him..

After few seconds of silence manik begins with determination

"Dekhiye aap Maddy ko galat samaj rhi h" said Manik

"Yhi baat main tumse kahungi ki tum Nandini ko galat samaj rhe ho" said Soha sternly

"Nandini aapke saath rhi h itne din tab bhi aap uske baare main esa kah rhi h" said Manik

She still refuses to believe Nandini's words.....

Not wanting to waste anymore time, Manik barges into the bathroom and takes pictures of the three locks used to keep the door shut and the boards used to cover the bathroom window which Nandini does so as too save herself from Mr pervert Maddy.

Manik leaves his number with Soha, hoping that she'll change her mind and call him to testify against Mr. Maddy.

Soha goes out to make sure he's really left her home where upon she discovers that someone has helped her and folded the blankets.

She gets to know that the person was none other than Nandini....
First she ignores it but then she smiles. She noticed a piece of paper kept on the blanket and on it is written "a letter addressed to soha"....

soha opens the letter and starts reading it. "Aunty, I am only left with this method to communicate with you. Please finish reading this letter. Take it as my last wish."

After leaving your place, I wasn't angry at you, I didn't hate you, I didn't blame you for misunderstanding me. I'm only mad at myself because I have a lot of things to say and it was only till separation did I regret it. Why have I never said these words.

The mother who gave birth to me left too early. To me, mother is just a word. And the person that Dad points to in a photo is called mother, but I have no memory at all

I remember in elementary school, you participated in the family games with me. I accidentally fell and caused us to lose. Although you kept yelling at me, you tenderly treated the wound on my knee, scared that it will leave a scar.

In junior high school, I was responsible for the graduation speech. You said that you have to look after the store and have no time, but I saw you, you even forgot to take off your apron and gloves and rushed over to see me. And then you silently cry in the corner. It was you who taught what to look out for when I grew older.

It was you who taught me sewing. Every time when it's time to take in the blankets, we would put the blankets into the blanket covers together. Both of us grabbing two corners. But now I'm not by your side. I can't stuff blankets with you anymore... I'm sorry for letting you to be so angry. I'm Sorry, Mom."
This was the first time she addressed Soha as her mom. She had tears after reading this letter. She was happy sad guilty etc. Soha was filled with emotions. She just wanted to hug nandini but then she remembers her inhuman behaviour towards nandini and couldn't do anything than to regret.

NOTE: sometimes we do mistakes that costs us everything. We should think before we act coz even our smallest of actions can hurt someone massively.
