Manik came back to the kitchen slab and started assembling his dish as everything was ready. Nandini couldn't sit there adoring her man, which is why she silently got up and back hugged him. Manik was startled for a moment with her sudden touch but than looked at her over his shoulder and smiled.

Nandini tried to snuggle at him and along with that she tried to peep at his work too. Not able to hold it more she said sweetly.

Nan-aap na bahut aache hai.

Manik smiled at her compliment and replied back sweetly.

Ma-thank you.

She didn't say anything further and looked at his work. She found him struggling due to his fractured hand which is why she came beside him and holded the lasagna sheet from one hand as Manik was holding it from other side.

He stopped abruptly and looked at her. Nandini blinked once and then together they started assembling the dishes. Manik placed the sheets and Nandini made it sit proper in the baking tray.

Manik whisked the egg and Nandini poured it, together they spreaded the shredded chicken and grated cheese. They kept looking at each other time to time and passed warm smiles. Finally Nandini sprinkled some chives as garnish and put the tray for baking. They cleaned their hands and were waiting for the dish. That is when Nandini asked him.

Nan-when are you supposed to visit the dr for your hand.........aur kitna din hai?

Ma-the time will be completed in 2 days.........I'll get it checked........I hope than I am free from this sling.

Nandini gave a nod of acknowledgment and than said.

Nan-I think you should get ready tab tak yeh ban jayega..........I'll get it out of the oven.

Manik agreed to her. Well Manik was in his office shirt and pant, all that he had to do was wear his coat. He came back in his room and cleaned all his sweat from the kitchen. Wore his coat, sprayed perfume, set his hair and came back.

By that time the dish was not ready yet. Seeing him Nandini pulled the chair for him but instead of sitting he said with some crib in his tone.

Ma-I want to do that all for you.

Nan-Manik.........you won't be able to deal with that with one hand.........2 din hai uske baad aachi khatirdari karvaogi aapse........promise.

Unwilling he agreed and sat. Than he saw Nandini wearing the gloves and removing the tray. She directly came to the table and cut the lasagna in proper square size. She was serving it to Manik and all that melted cheese came in their view.

The stretch of the mozzarella cheese was just the perfect and by looking at it Nandini knew that this is going to be just like her taste bud. She served 2 pcs to Manik and sat beside him and quickly filled her plate as well.

They started eating that and on 1st bite Nandini moaned as it was just perfect. After gulping the morsel, she turned to him with the biggest smile and said.

Nan-I just love you for this..........and thanks for being the awesome chef.

Manik smile giggled and said.

Ma-I love you too.

Without saying anything Nandini digged herself in her dish and had until she over ate. Slumping down on the chair, with her hand on her flat tummy, she said with tiredness in her tone.

Nan-aisa khana roz mile toh jannat yehi ban jaye.

Manik giggled and said.

Ma-I didn't knew that this lasagna has the power to shut your talkative habit.

Nan-this is the only thing that can shut me.

Ma-so decided..........ab kabhi hamare bich jagda hoga na.........toh I'll make this lasagna.........ussi bahane tum chilogi toh nhi.

Saying that he giggled while Nandini looked at him with sharp eyes and said with threatening tone.

Nan-gusse mei mei hath bhi chala skti ho.........toh soch k banana.

Manik raised his one hand in surrender and said.

Ma-tum toh meri aachi girlfriend ho.........I know you are not going to trouble me.

Nandini showed him her tounge in reply and than said getting up lazily.

Nan-chalo.........we are late for office.

Saying this she got up and wrapped up their breakfast setup. Though she ate enough, there was still some lasagna left which would be enough for tonight for Manik. So picking up the baking dish, she said showing it to him.

Nan-I guess this will be enough for you tonight.

Ma-that means we are not meeting tonight?

Nan-aap thak nhi jaate hai?

Ma-you are my home Nandini.........and at the end of the day a man come backs home only.

Nandini was stuck with his this confession, with hesitation in her tone, she spoke.

Nan-Manik.........all this becomes difficult for me.......... I don't want to hurt you in any manner but at this point of time in our relationship..........I am not understanding what is right and what is wrong.........I want us to be forever and don't want to complicate stuff at the very beginning.

On this Manik got up and took her one hand and said.

Ma-itna mat socho abt this.........we are going with the flow........let's keep it simple and let's enjoy it.........abt our forever.........we both are genuine towards this relationship........hume bharosa hai apne aap pe that we are not going to ditch each other.........right!

Nandini bobbed her head in yes immediately and Manik smiled at that. He came close and kissed her cheek warmly. Nandini closed her eyes feeling the warmth and looked at him once he moved away. She passed him a warm smile.

She silently moved away and kept the leftover lasagna in the fridge. She quickly put the used crockery in the sink and picked up the bags. After they were all ready to leave, Manik made the first move and headed towards the door.

Nandini followed him and just when he was about to open the door, she tugged his wrist, pulling him back to her. Manik was a bit surprised at her this act but soon found her kissing his cheek for a long time, warmly. Moving away she said in her sweet tone.

Nan-aap bilkul bhi bakwas boyfriend nhi hai........infact bahut aache hai.

Manik smiled at her, cupped her left cheek in which her hair too came in his hold and said.

Ma-and I have the best girlfriend who makes me the best boyfriend.

Nandini's eyes shined at this and then he asked.

Ma-ab chale?

Nandini bobbed her head and said in soft tone.

Nan-chalo.

With this they left the house. The entered the elevator and were waiting to reach down. Just when the door got shut, Nandini looked at all the corners of the lift. Being satisfied of no cctv, she came to Manik and hugged him gently.

Manik was not at all expecting this but immediately he wrapped his hand around her and hugged her back. It was their home and nothing could disturb them. They reached down and immediately moved away before the door could reveal their position.

Not spoiling the moment by saying anything, they simply came out and sat in the car, as driver uncle was waiting for them. As soon as they sat, the car was in motion. The ride to the office was silent and this silence continued till they reached their cabin.

Once they settled down, Nandini came to him with his schedule and they sincerely got back to work. It was around 12.25 pm, when Nandini had come to Manik with a file as it needed his signature.

Once he gave back her the file, he saw Nandini leaning down and placing a kiss on his another cheek. Manik was surprised with her behaviour as she is the one to follow with "no romance policy in the office". Anyways he was happy with that and resumed working.

Again the same boring office routine started until lunch time. As usual the food aroma bought Manik to the lunch table and not Nandini's call. While eating Nandini made him eat from her hand time to time. Not being able to hold it anymore, Manik asked.

Ma-is this the lasagna magic?

Nan-no..........I just realised that somewhere I am being too harsh towards you with this stupid unsaid rules by me..........that doesn't mean that I'll start everyday but yes........some stealing and making of moments is allowed.

Ma-does that mean.........that I can do anything with you in the office too.

Nandini bobbed her head in yes and said.

Nan-everything that is decent........without locking the door. Though nobody is going to enter in without knocking and your permission........but still........thoda decency is needed.

Manik gave a "okay" slow nod and continued eating. Again the post lunch time was same, boring and working. It was around 3.00 pm when fab4 bragged in Manik's cabin, scaring both of them. Manik was a bit angry coz he was planning to spend some time with Nandini but now he will have to wait.

While Nandini just rolled her eyes mentally. Than he eyes met Dhruv's eyes who immediately looked away and palmed his cheek where she had slapped him and this made her to laugh but she managed with silent giggles.

Manik too looked at this scene and a bright smile appeared to his face as well. He was relaxed now as Dhruv won't bug Nandini anymore. Not that he was sone fattu but seems like he made his peace with the slap. Anyways, Nandini didn't say anything and concentrated on her work.

While Fab3 settled on the couch and Aaliya trying her luck on Manik which was actually disturbing him a lot but at this moment Nandini couldn't help at all. Aaliya tired to talk loudly intentionally to show off to Nandini who just kept smiling, hiding herself with her hair as she knew the reality.

The only this is she was feeling bad for Manik. In btwn she got up and bought Manik's coffee as it was his coffee time. Seeing her being just once come instigated aaliya to hell but she didn't say anything as she knew that Manik is in favour of Nandini.

Manik simply enjoyed his coffee. Soon Nandini came to him and said.

Nan-sir in 10 mins you have the meeting....... Conference room is already ready and the clients will be here soon.

Manik simply bobbed his head and continued working with aaliya bugging him. Soon Manik left for the meeting leaving Fab4 and Nandini. After he was gone, Nandini came to Manik's table to clean it, while Aaliya sat on Manik's chair and started saying to no one in particular but all he she was aiming at Nandini.

Aa-soon this chair will be called as my husband's chair as I will marry Manik.

Nandini couldn't hold anymore and the giggle left from her. Still controlling herself, she faced her and said showing her thumb.

Nan-all the best.

She completed her work and came back on her chair. While aaliya kept on saying things to Nandini which didn't affect her at all. After an hour or so fab4 finally felt bored and decided to leave and the left silently, while Nandini got engrossed in her work.

She was so much focused in her work that she didn't notice Manik coming back and sitting on her table. She looked at him when she heard him saying.

Ma-finally they are gone.

Nandini snapped her head at him on hearing and than said roaming here eyes in the entire cabin.

Nan-yup finally.

Ma-good.........now will you share a coffee with me?

Nandini moved her head in yes and than said.

Nan-I'll get it for us.

Ma-we will share the same cup no?

He had a doubt and Nandini simple moved her head in yes along with smiling. Manik too smiled back at her and saw her leaving the cabin.

Hey guys it's been a loooooooooonnnnnnnnnggggggggg time that I am updating but don't worry I'll try my best to update this story every alternate day and complete it soon.........we'll I know that you'll might be bored with this office thing but don't worry very soon the whole track will change and you'll are going to enjoy it. Just have patience for more 5-7 updates.
