Nandini smirked at Manik's expressions, while Manik frowned trying to understand her. The look look game ended when Nandini spoke.

Nan-are you like feeling jealous?

Ma-jealous! And me! No ways.

Nan-yes ways Manik........you are feeling jealous and it's fun.

Nandini had a bright grin on her face after saying that while Manik was trying to understand his own reaction and than after a brief moment he spoke.

Ma-it's no jealousy Nandini but my concern towards you.

Nan-whatever makes you happy.

Saying that she got up and headed to kitchen and said.

Nan-chai bana rhi ho.

It was evening and she was craving for a nice cup of tea and that's why she started doing that, while Manik was still thinking about her dress and than hearing tea, he got up with a frown and came by her side and spoke.

Ma-chai........firse.........you haven't eaten properly and you are just drinking tea.

Nandini was in too much mood and that's why she spoke.

Nan-are you like trying to divert yourself from that dress jealousy.

Manik for a moment couldn't react instantly but than he frowned and spoke.

Ma-stop that dress thing and yes.......get yourself something else......you won't be wearing that.

In reply Nandini just gave him a playful smile and Manik knew she is teasing him way to far. Anyways, since she felt bored, she started stirring the boiling tea and out of nowhere started singing in her melodious tone.

Nan-Bade acche lagte hain
Ye dharti, ye nadiya, ye raina
Aur

At first Manik was not at all expecting her to sing, than he heard her sweet voice and could recognise the song. He knew the coming words but Nandini stopped at "aur" and didn't sing further. It took a whole min for Manik to realise that she won't sing further and that's why he said in a questioning tone.

Ma-aur?

Hearing him, Nandini looked at him, smiled, started shaking her leg in front and back from her knees like kids do and then watched his curious and impatient eyes and than after a good pause sang.

Nan-aur tummmm.

Nandini stretched the sound of "M" but hearing that both smiled the brightest. Their heart was happy hearing this confession and Nandini was blushing on this type of confession but they are at peace and that is what is important.

Nandini kept looking away after that coz she was blushing while Manik was liking this. After 2 weeks of struggling and heartbreaking feeling, he was glad that they are finally back. He never took Nandini for granted but after breaking up with her, he realised how important she is to him.

He can't afford to loose her in any circumstances and hearing that inspite of all the pain and insult he gave to her, Nandini not only forgave him but also loves him just like that way if not more. Anyways, Nandini was hiding her gaze from him and poured out the tea but while giving him the mug, their eyes got locked and she could see the shine in them.

The peace and ease he held in his beautiful eyes was relaxing her. He smiled warmly and she smiled back in relaxation. Taking their mug, they came on the couch and after 3 sips spoke.

Nan-on the party day.........I am not going to come to the office........you will pick me up from my house........coz I don't want to get ready in hurry plus my look will be a surprise for you.

Manik simply bobbed his head in yes and than spoke being careful with his words.

Ma-Nandini.........fab5 too is invited in that party and they will be there too.

Understanding him, she bobbed her head in yes at first and than after a min spoke.

Nan-it doesn't matter........I'll be at one side and they at other.........so i guess there won't be much of a problem.

Ma-hhmm.

Manik just hhmmed coz they have nothing much to say about this matter. Like this they had tea and than did some time pass, had dinner and than Nandini came back home. Next day after their routine and breakfast, they came to office together.

Seeing Nandini the receptionist smiled and waved at her. Nandini too replied back and entered in the cabin with Manik ahead of her. Coming in, she was shocked looking at the condition of his cabin. Both were standing just behind the closed door and after seeing the condition of the cabin.

She turned to him with that shock expression. Feeling her gaze on him, Manik moved his hand on his nape and spoke.

Ma-I was in a complete mess when you left all of a sudden..........now please just help me get out of this mess.........and the schedule mess too.

He had the most innocent and cute face expression when he was saying all that and came naturally. Nandini wished to gobble him up on his this expression but controlled herself and came to her desk to keep the bags. Even her desk was a mess and she looked at him with questioning eyes.

On this Manik looked away coz he thought she will scold him. Nandini smiled at his behaviour and came on his desk. At first she looked at its condition to analyse from where can she start. After a brief look, she started with wrapping up his mess.

Once she started, Manik came by her side and helped her as much as he could and they worked 90% silently. A 20 mins of struggle and finally his cabin looked like cabin. Nandini huffed after so much of efforts and than said/asked.

Nan-what work has been completed........so that I can pen down your schedule.

Manik at first nod his head once, than he spoke picking up his intercom.

Ma-Naina is having the record.

Saying that he dialled and spoke to the floor receptionist and told her to get the summary of this whole week work. In 2 mins she was here with a single paper and handed it to Nandini. Without saying much, she left from there.

Nandini came on her desk and Manik on his. Nandini went through the entire page that had a summary of what work is done with whom in this week. While Manik started working on one of his designs that he knew was left to be made.

After a long long thing, Nandini managed to pen down his today's schedule and as soon as she was done with that, she came to Manik and informed him about all the work that can be done today. Agreeing to her, they did their work till afternoon.

Manik was total busy in his work, when Nandini got up with their lunch and left the cabin to warm it. Coming in the canteen, lots of people saw her after a week. A few thought that she left the work and few thought that she was fired so seeing her back seemed a bit surprising.

Everybody came to her while she was warming up food and asked the same thing that where was she and to everybody Nandini gave this answer that she was on paid leave. All agreed to her coz they have hardly seen her absent from the day she has started working here.

Answering them, Nandini was coming back with the food tray and along with her was walking the floor receptionist and was saying to her.

R-you know it was so difficult for us to manage all the work.........thankfully Manik sir was not getting much angry and firing people like other bosses.

Nandini giggled a bit silently coz in story's that she reads, mostly boss goes mad and fire people for simplest of mistake. Just bobbing her head at all that receptionist said, Nandini bid her bye when her desk came and than entered in her cabin.

The aroma of food grabbed Manik's attention and this was happening after a very long time. Manik was so much engrossed in his work that he forgot the time and didn't notice Nandini's absence too. Smelling the food, nostalgia hit him.

Their beautiful lunch moment, the yummy food, the food attracting his attention and the most important thing, that he will eat with her once again. Manik looked up to see Nandini walking with food tray like always, looking so adorable.

He kept glancing at her and Nandini was not aware of his gaze. She simply walked to the table and placed the food. She turned to call him and saw him all lost. She called him thrice but got no attention and that's why she came to him and nudged him.

Nan-kaha kho gaye aap? Kabse bola rhi ho?

Since she nudged him, he was out of his dream land and moved his head in no on her questions. Seeing him saying no, Nandini spoke not digging much into his expressions.

Nan-khana thanda ho rha hai..........come fast.

Saying that she came back to the couch and Manik quickly came after washing his hands. When he sat, Nandini was filling his plate. He smiled again seeing her doing the same work again. Nandini placed his plate and filled her plate. She started eating but Manik, he ate a morsel and relished it taking his own sweet time.

He closed his eyes and chewed the food slowly. Enjoying every bit of the bite. He looked like he is doing advertisement of some food product and stuff. Nandini missed his all the expressions. Eating the first bite, Manik took the rice and relished that too.

Manik had become habitual of Nandini's food and also with eating with her but the recent chaos has disturbed a lot of things btwn them. So everything felt so good to him. After days his plate was filled with home made, variety and colourful food, with a sweet dish too.

So after eating a bite of chapati, he digged in rice and than relished the sweet. When he was feeling the sweet, that is when Nandini saw him lost in food. She nudged his knee, grabbing his attention and than asked out of concern.

Nan-kya hova?

She got a worried and Manik said after gulping his morsel.

Ma-after so many days I am eating food made by you and with you........so just taking a sweet time to relish it.

Nandini was all normal till now not hearing him she too became a little upset coz all those days and their actions flashed in her mind. Seeing her getting low, Manik spoke.

Ma-don't think much.........it's time we make new memories.

Nandini gave him a faint smile and had her food while Manik took a lot of time to eat this food. He somewhat over ate and than slumped on his place after eating so much and such yummy food.

Nandini smiled at his cute tactics and kept looking at him for a good moment. Once he was back from his rest phase, Nandini too got up and wrapped up the lunch set up and soon they got back to their work.

This day ended with a happy note with less Manan romance. Next 2 days went off soon and today was finally the day for party. As said by Nandini she didn't come to office but Manik was there for half day so that's why Nandini had prepared his half day schedule.

After Radhika left Nandini was doing her body care for the party and around 12.00 pm the door bell rang. She opened the door to see a delivery boy, he asked her name and gave the bag. Closing the door Nandini looked at the bag and saw a famous designer's name on the bag and it was clear that it had some clothes.

Being excited, she opened the box to see a beautiful purple gown in it. It also had a name on it and that was Manik Malhotra. So it was clear that Manik had sent it for Nandini.
