Oh geez, here we go... don't you just hate when people say: "oohhhh, Sunny is descended from Arctic, which means she's part IceWing!" as if her IceWing blood is equal to her SandWing and NightWing blood?  Because, um, it's not.  Today ima prove that she's barely part IceWing, with the help of my oldest foe.... MATH.

Arctic was the last pure IceWing in Sunny's ancestry.  2000 years (give or take) has passed since his lifetime, and a dragon lifespan is about 150 years.  Most dragons have their first eggs when they are 9 or 10 years old.  Let's start with Arctic, the dragon who began the path to Sunny's existence.  He was around 15 years old at his death, and his daughter, Whiteout, was five.  Which gives her about four years until she had dragonets with Thoughtful.

15+4=19

Ten years later, Whiteout's children took mates and had dragonets of their own.

19+10=29

And ten years after THAT, Whiteout's grandchildren had their own kids. 

Too make it easy, I'm going to add 10 over and over until we reach 500, count how many dragons that would be, and quadruple it.  This part gets long and boring, so you can skip by if you want.

That's 41.  41x4=164

So, including Whiteout, there were 164 dragons—164 generations—between Arctic and Sunny.

Which means I have to divide 2000 in half 164 times!  Oh brother....

Well, it went WAY too far down into decimals and I ended up with letters and stuff that I have absolutely no understanding for, but the last (actual) number I made it to was 0.00000186264.

So that means that Sunny is only 0.00000186264% IceWing.  And way less than that, actually!  While I was supposed to divide a thousand 164 times, I ended up only being able to divide it by about 30.  So she definitely isn't a tribrid.  She'd need to be at least 10% IceWing to qualify as a tribrid, in my opinion.  I hate when people say she's part IceWing, because when you do the math and look at the percentage of her that still carries IceWing blood... she really isn't.
