My Watty's Journey 2021

The Watty's are upon us! This is my second attempt at the Watty's. Last year I'd entered "The Me You Stole" "We Can Go Back" and "The Aftermath." Well, I've since reworked them and I've also written 5 titles since January:

- Perception (first chapter written September 2020. Chapters 2-34 written from late Jan to Feb)

- For My Next Trick... (written from Feb to March)

- The Hunchback's Reluctant Bride (written from March to April)

- The Hunchback's Fairy King Problem (written from May to June)

- The Hunchback's Perfect Family (written from June to July)

All are over 50k, and all will be submitted to the Watty's eventually. I have since completed a number of other titles since last year's watty's which I will take another shot with, including the aforementioned The Me You stole, We Can Go Back and The Aftermath.

That brings the number of entries to 10. No, I don't think this will 'improve' my chances. I'm just going to throw everything at it and keep my fingers crossed.

ONC UPDATE

"Do No Harm" made the ONC 2021 shortlist. I want to sincerely thank scrabblepost who encouraged me to put it in for final submission. I wasn't very satisfied with the book as a novella so I will revisit it and make a proper novel with a new ending. :-) This was my first ONC attempt so to make the short list the first time I tried it was a pretty great accomplishment.
