Aditya: Urghh. Wo ek kahawat hain na ki upar wala jab deta hain to chappar phar ke deta hain, waisa hi ho raha hain mere saath. Upar wale ne aaj mera sara musibat ek din mein hi de raha hain.

Aditya said this being a 5 year old kid which made Zoya giggle a bit which did not go unnoticed by Aditya.

Aditya: Now you don't have to make fun of me.

Zoya: No Sir. I am not making fun of you.

Aditya: See Miss Siddique. If you can make this project successful, I can give the best position. Just plz make it successful.

Zoya: Sir. I will try my best.

Aditya: Huh. Now let us go. They must be waiting for us.

Aditya quietly talking to Zoya.

Aditya: Listen Miss. Siddique. These are very important clients so we need to handle them very carefully.

Zoya: Yes Sir.

Aditya to the clients.

Aditya: So ladies and gentlemen. Miss. Siddique and I will present you our new ideas about the project and we will talk about the project. Hope it will be benefit for both of the companies.

Mr. Sharma: Sure Mr. Aditya. We are expecting much better things from you and your employees.

Throughout the whole presentation speech, Aditya and Zoya very carefully handled the clients and their questions but the Sharma clients were asking so much questions that Aditya was slowly getting irritated and frustrated and Zoya could notice that seeing Aditya's expressions.

Zoya quietly spoke to Aditya: Sir, just be patience. We will definitely crack the deal.

Aditya's frustration quickly went off by hearing Zoya's voice. Her voice had some pure magic.

Aditya nodded to Zoya while Zoya just blinked her eyes as an assurance.

After answering 100 questions according to Aditya, finally the Sharmas spoke put.

Mr. Sharma: So Mr. Aditya, after thinking a lot, I would like to say that my company would like to have this deal with you.

Aditya: Thank you Mr. Sharma. Then I will do the rest of the paperwork?

Mr. Sharma: Sure. and I must say Miss. Siddique had patiently and very beautifully gave all the answers of our questions. Is she your new secretary?

Aditya looking at Zoya: Yes. Miss. Zoya Siddique is my new secretary.

Zoya looked at Aditya being astonished.

Mr. Sharma: Yeah but Miss Arora?

Aditya: Mr. Sharma. Sab logo ka demotion and promoption hota hain. So Miss. Siddique ka promotion and Miss. Arora ka demotion hua hain.

Mr. Sharma: Hmm ok then I will take a leave now.

Aditya: Sure.

After the Sharmas left.

Zoya: Sir wo Secretary ki baat app?

Aditya: Yes Miss Siddique. I am very much impressed with your work and I guess you have that capability to assist me and you can also learn new things by assisting me right?

Zoya: But Sir. Mahi?

Aditya: See. I am not doing any partiality. It would be wrong if I don't say that I was going to search for a new secretary cuz Mahi's regular performance was getting low day by day. I will not fire her but I will just give her the position of the normal employee. And I am very much impressed how you handled the clients.

Zoya: Umm thank you so much Sir for the position.

Aditya: Don't thank me. You are capable of it and you are getting it. Main kabhi koi ehsan nahi rakhta.

With that Aditya left and Zoya went into some deep thoughts.

Zoya's pov.

I am extremely sorry Mahi. Humare maqsad ke liye hum apko istemal to kar rahe hain lekin ye zaroori hain.

Kal office se ghar jane ke waqt jab hum Mahi ko bata ke gaye the ki hum humare project lene gaye the, humne Mahi se jhoot bola tha. Humne Pehle hi pata kar liya tha ki Mahi apne presentations uske cabin ke 2nd drawer mein rakhti hain. Humne wo pendrive le kar phir usme kuch scenery download kar Diya aur uska presentation hi delete kar ke phir main rat ko maine khud presentation bana liya tha. Aur Sir ne Mahi ko itna bhala boora kaha aur jab Mahi ko sab shant kar rahe the usi waqt maine Aditya Sir ke cabin mein jaakar Sir ki help kari taaki mera maqsad poora hone mein aur asaan ho. Ya Allah ap jante hain hum Mahi ka koi boora nahi chahte lekin hume ye karni padi. Hume maaf kar dijiyega Mahi. Hume apse koi bhi dusmani nahi hain.

With that Zoya left the presentation hall and went outside only to hear a harsh voice from Mahi in front of everybody.

Mahi: Today, for you only I lost my job. I will never ever forgive you Zoya.

To which Aditya protested: Mahi first of all you did not lost your job and you did not get demoted because of Miss. Siddique. Your last few performances were not very upto the mark and I was about to keep a new secretary. And 2nd of all this is an office so don't create a scene.

Mahi, while crying, left for home. Zoya was about to follow Mahi but Aditya stopped her.

Aditya: Don't go. Listen you also have work now and you need to complete those works.

Zoya: Okay Sir.

Aditya: Hmm. Follow me, I will give you some basic works.

Zoya: Okay Sir.

Aditya gave some files to Zoya which she read but her mind was occupied with Mahi's incident. So she decided when she will work in Siddique Company, she would give Mahi a very high position in the office. It would be compensation for her.

As Mahi already left home in the afternoon and Aditya gave so much work to Zoya that she was late.

At 8:30 pm.

Aditya entered in Zoya's cabin.

Aditya: Miss. Siddique. It is getting late I guess. You should leave now.

Zoya: Yes Sir. I will leave after some minutes.

Aditya: Umm. OK. Do you need coffee or something, you can have it from the canteen.

Zoya: No Sir. It is absolutely fine. Thanks for asking.

Aditya: Hmm. May I call you Zoya? Cuz this Miss. Siddique looks like I am talking to some clients.

Zoya: Sure Sir.

Aditya: So Zoya. You should leave as quickly as possible.

Zoya: Okay Sir.

With that Aditya left from her cabin.

Aditya in his mind: Zoya has that charm in her works. Today in the meeting, I was getting so frustrated with the questions but she tried to calm me and my mind also became patience. Except Ma, nobody could make me stop getting frustrated. That girl has something in her.

Aditya was just smiling to himself.

After 30 min, Zoya was at the road looking for a cab.

Zoya: Urgh. Ye cab abhi tak kyun nahi ayi.

Just then a car came and stopped in front of her. The driver of the car slide down of window and spoke up.

Aditya: Zoya? You still did not go home?

Zoya: Sir. I am waiting for my cab.

Aditya: But is is nearly 9. How will you go alone in this night? And moreover it is not safe. Come. I will drop you.

Zoya: No Sir. It is fine.

Aditya: Zoya, I am ordering you. Now no arguments and sit in the car.

Without saying anything, Zoya entered inside the car.

Zoya gave Aditya the address of her home.

On the way.

Aditya: So Zoya.

Zoya: Yes Sir.

Aditya: Tumhare Family mein aur kaun kaun hai?

Zoya: Mere family mein bas main, Ammi, Abbu aur humara Kohinoor.

Aditya: Kohinoor?

Zoya: Aa. Noor Siddique. Humari choti behen. Hum usse pyar se Kohinoor kehte hain.

Aditya: Ohh. That is very sweet.

Zoya: Apki Family mein kaun kaun hai?

Aditya: Main, Ma aur Arjun, mera bhai.

Zoya: Aur apke Abbu?

Aditya: Uh haan. Papa bhi hain.

Zoya felt a bit suspicious about Aditya not mentioning of his father before.

Aditya: BTW, while I was going through your CV I noticed that you did your graduation from St. Xavier college. I was also in that college. Which batch?

Zoya: Huh?

Aditya: Which batch?

Zoya: Aa 18th batch.

Aditya: Ohho. I was 16th batch. That is why we did not meet in the college.

Zoya: Mm. Yes.

Zoya was getting nervous so she just diverted the topic by saying Aditya to take a left.

Aditya: You know Mahi?

Zoya: Yeah. I am staying at her house. Cuz there is not so known people in Mumbai rather than Mahi and her mom. That is why.

Aditya: Oo. I hope she does not create any scene in her house also.

Zoya: Umm may be. I do not know.

Aditya: Well. I am sorry if you are having any problem because of me.

Zoya: Oh no no. You don't need to be sorry, Sir.

Aditya: No but still. If you face problems because of me then I will be really in guilt.

Zoya: No Sir. You don't need to be in guilt. It is absolutely fine. I can manage.

Aditya just passed a smile and focused on the road.

After some time, Aditya stopped at Zoya's house.

Zoya: Thank you so much Sir for the lift.

Aditya: Areh it is absolutely alright.

Zoya: Okay Sir. Then see you tomorrow?

Aditya: Yeah. See you tomorrow then. Bye.

Zoya: Bye. Sir.

After Zoya entered the house, Aditya left from there.

Zoya saw Madhu sitting on the sofa with a magazine.

Madhu noticed Zoya: Areh Zoya beta. You came? Come, I will prepare the dinner for you.

Zoya: Aunty, where is Mahi?

Madhu: Beta, she told me what happens in office and how she blamed you unnecessarily. I am sorry beta. I am seriously sorry.

Zoya: No. Aunty. Actually I am sorry. It is all my fault.

Madhu: No. Zoya. It is not your fault. Mahi always overreacts in every situation.

Zoya: Where is she?

Madhu: She is in her room, sleeping may be.

Zoya: Oh then I will talk with her in the morning.

Madhu: Okay now have the dinner first.

Zoya: Umm. I will just get fresh at first.

Madhu: Okay.

After the dinner, Zoya and Madhu went to their respective rooms.
