Peter's favorite class is Care of Magical Creatures. He always goes out of his way to help animals, like climbing up a tree to save an owl caught in its branches (he ended up getting stuck and needed Sirius to get him out). He's named every single animal he's seen at school, and the Marauders feed a couple of them. There's a group of them that always comes back whenever he feeds them. They call it "the Pettizoo."
