Today is Dr. Seuss' birthday. What is your favourite Dr. Seuss character and why?

  "Knox in box, Fox in socks, Knox on box in fox in- argh, I'm so bad at this!" Rina suddenly shouted, and made everyone, including Shizuka who sat literally next to her, jump. They were sitting on a couch with their own books.

  "What are you reading?" Shizuka peered at the thin colorful book Rina was holding.

  "Fox in Socks? What's that?" The ruby-eyed teen read the name out loud.

  "It's a Dr. Seuss tongue-twister book! Do you like Dr. Seuss, Shizuka-nee?" Rina's eyes were sparkling, she liked to learn more about the teen next to her. She's a new-comer after all.

  "Uhhh... I...guess?" Shizuka struggled. She simply didn't know who this is and so she didn't know his books or whatever he did for a living.

  "Yay! Rina likes Dr. Seuss too! His tongue-twisters are so fun, and his poems are really good!" 

  Okay, Shizuka thought, this is one hell of a day. Now she had to pretend that she knew the man and she regretted saying the "I guess" part.

  "What's your favourite Dr. Seuss character, Shizuka-nee?" Rina was technically shining now. Argh, curse Amagai Rina and her insufferable, heavenly puppy eyes!

  "Uhh, I..." She stammered.

  "Hey! What are you two talking about?" Shouko suddenly jumped out of nowhere and sat next to the youngest. She's her savior, but of COURSE Shizuka would never say that.

  "We're saying how great Dr. Seuss is!" Rina turned to her favourite elder sister. "Do you like Dr. Seuss?"

  "Of course! My favourite character is Horton from 'Horton Hears a Who'! Being able to hear voices from a flower is super awesome! it's so awesome that they even made a film of the book!"

  I don't know what you're talking about. Who's Horton? Voices from a flower? What? 

  "Ah, speaking of," Hikari was the second one to jump out of nowhere and sat next to Shizuka, "today is Dr. Seuss' birthday, y' know?"

  Being squeezed by people talking about something that she didn't know, Shizuka did what she thinks was best: pull out her phone and earphones and plug them in. She played a video that's called 'Pop on Rocks' that was in Youtube recommendation for at least one month now. Might as well give it a try. She put the earbuds in her ears and hit the button. It was... good, at least. The singer didn't struggle with the- wait, is this a tongue twister?

  She looked at the name of the video properly and the title that was next to the name: "a Dr. Seuss rap" hit her eyes. That was when she knew why the first lyrics were so familiar! It was 'Fox in Socks', but a rap version!

  Talk about coincidence!

  "-ka! Shizuka! Jeez..." Hikari called her, she knew, but she paid no mind. she hit the replay button and started to follow the lyrics and the rap onscreen. It wasn't fast, so she could do it, right?

  "Knox in box. Fox in socks.

   Knox on fox in socks in box.

   Socks on Knox, and Knox in box.

   Fox in socks on box on Knox.

   Chicks with bricks come.

   Chicks with blocks come.

   Chicks with bricks and blocks and then clocks come.

   Let's do tricks with bricks and blocks, sir.

   Let's do tricks with chicks and clock, sir."

  "Aww, you can do the tongue twister! It's so hard!" Rina pouted and the others shielded their eyes. She's too bright!

  "Ooh, I wonder if you can actually read the whole book..." Hikari put a finger on her chin and smiled aggressively. The hand on Shizuka's phone gripped it harder, to the point that the owner could feel the phone a little bit smaller on the sides where her hand had gripped. "It's on."

  "So, who's your favourite Dr. Seuss character, Shizuka-nee?" Rina asked again.

  "No one, actually. I like all of his tongue twister. They serve a fine challenge." Came the tired reply. Shizuka and Hikari had challenged each other to read all kinds of Dr. Seuss tongue twisters and now their mouth felt like it dropped somewhere.

  "I...agree." Hikari gave a thumbs up.
