NEXT MORNING

Nandini pov – I saw myself in the mirror , And I was unable to recognize the girl in the mirror . My eyes had bags due to continuous crying , my hair was nest . My cheeks were red so was my nose . Yesterday night soha called me to ask about my decision to join SPACE . I immediately wanted to say a NO then she would question me WHY ? Its better that I sit quietly and then explain her all this . Last night neyonika aunty she wanted to question me about mine and manik's behavior I guess. But I pretended to be asleep but her words were so clear " NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS NANDINI AM ALWAYS WITH YOU, YOU HAVE SUFFERED A LOT BUT NOT ANYMORE"

Now here I am trying to fix myself , I changed myself into jeans and orange top , wiping my face again I went down . But then manik was sitting I halted my steps .

Manik pov – I was waiting for nandini from past 1 hour , Mom said "she was tired and needs rest from last night's chaos" . To be honest only I knew what she is going through right know , After I said her to go away. I regretted to speak those words I was dying to see her and then my stupidity made me go all caveman . I need to make her understand about my feelings not that I should have gone and bursted out all the stress on her head .

Today morning cabir gave me a call telling me that the guy rohan has been trapped in his plan , I don't know what exactly he did , but it was crystal clear to me that now I can be the cause OF SMILE ON HER ANGELIC FACE .

But then her voice broke my thoughts " Manik what are you doing here ?". I took a deep breathe to calm the running nerves of mine , because after this she may kick me , bite me , slap me god know what all she can do ? what she will do ?

Nandini pov – What is wrong with this guy ? He didn't reply to my question , rather shook his head and walked towards me . I was taking my steps backwards after seeing that he was coming in my direction .

Nandini – Uncle , Aunty

Nandini pov– where are everyone ? I need to get away from him .before he hurts me more .I ran to my room without caring that "he was back of me" .

Manik pov – she was shouting for help from mom dad ,AM I A SERIAL KILLER ? I mean she was shouting like "am gonna kill her right away this moment" . She ran backwards to her room even I started running back of her . I locked her soon in my arms capturing her legs and arms .

Nandini (shouts)- manik what are you doing leave me ?

Manik – will you please calm down for a second nandini

Nandini (angrily +shouts)– no , just put me down you IDIOT

Manik – ok , but I want you to listen to my words

Nandini – ok fine , but please put me down

Nandini pov – As soon as he let me down , I tried moving back but he was strong and quite genius enough he locked me in his arms .My hands were now resting on his biceps , my breathing halted due to the sudden proximity between us . He is the first guy who was so close to me .

Manik – Nandini Listen to me

Nandini (sutters)- wwhatt ?

Manik pov – It was so difficult to talk with her , when her petite soft arms were gripping me and wakening butterflies in my heart .

Manik – please come with me

Nandini looks at him

Manik – don't worry , I wont hurt you .Please trust me

Nandini pov – my mind and heart were having a huge battle of their's for him . My heart wanted to go with him after seeing the sincerity in his eyes , my mind it was busy in flashing past images . But at the end I decided .

Nandini (sighs)- Okay I will , But after this you should not disturb me

Manik – thanks, And kisses her forehead making her Heart skip a beat

Manik- I will not disappoint you nandini .

Nandini – hmm

Nandini pov – He dragged me hurriedly toward the car , I was confused "where he was taking me ? I tried to question him but every time I asked him , he replied SOON YOU WILL UNDERSTAND" . I thought its better that I stay quite . But I decide to break it again when those memories started haunting me again . He bought me to the same apartment buildings where I was staying few days back . people were gathered around . I was so busy in my thoughts that I didn't see him reaching his hand out for me so that I can come out .

Manik – nandini , please come out .

Nandini pov – I could not hold it any longer even after seeing the helplessness in his brown eyes.

Nandini (hurt )- Why ?

Manik – what ?

Nandini – why do you always break me this much manik ? why did you bring me here again? when you know because of you I had got the characterless certificate in my life . You want to take revenge for the last night , I never thought that you will fall so low manik . I hate you MANIK MALHOTRA , and starts crying .

Manik (slowly)- nandini , please trust me

Nandini pov – I slowly looked at him , there were few unshed tears in his eyes with hurt laced in them .As I promised to him I came out READY FOR ANOTHER HUMILIATION IN MY LIFE . Soon when I went forward I could see that rohan and his mother crying . I was confused even neyonika aunty and raj uncle were here .

Raj(angrily) – manik , Why is nandini with you ? And why did you call us here ?

Manik – sorry dad , that I broke your rules but this time its important . this guy rohan because of him nandini had to suffer a lot . All these people are responsible for her misery dad .

Raj –what are you saying manik ?

Manik – dad that night both me and nandini were frame due to this rohan and his mother

Neyonika – manik , please elaborate you are just confusing us more .

Manik – mom this guy had bad intention on MY nandini since day 1 she came here . He followed her till bus stop passed her dirty nasty comments . And you know what when nandini tried to fight back "she was successful but this could not be digested by this bastard" . That evening he tried to Aaa....aasault nandini . even I could not know but when cabir got the cctv photage of the security system and the basement electric board . In That its clearly seen that he tried to Force her mom , And tears leaked out of his eyes .

Nandini pov – I was shocked that he did all this for me. he wanted to prove me as innocent . everyone were gasping with the news . Few asked that what is the proof ?

Manik (shouts )- You want proof ? why should she give proof haan ? why should girls always have to give tests and proofs to earn our trust she has to face the judgement of society when we boys don't need to ? she has to bare society's blame on her .then you people easily bad mouth about her parents .why should she always sacrifice her self respect for BASTARDS like him ? No I will not let you ask her
"TO PROVE HER WORDS , SHE IS PURE AS AN ANGLE AND INNOCENT AS A NEW BORN CHILD" . But still you all want me to shut your mouths right , But after this everyone of you will ask forgiveness from her .The pain you caused is greater than the damage you society did .

Nandini pov – he was crying , he was crying because of me , he was crying for my pain , he was crying for my loss, he was fighting for my dignity, he was protecting me and I II .........am sorry manik Am so ashamed of myself. he played the video and soon those haunting images came in front of my eyes . I was stumbling with my steps , but then he had me , he was supporting me .his words made me regret my previous actions . His words were like prayer but I could here them .

Manik (whispers)- I WILL ALWAYS PROTECT YOU , NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU HATE ME .

Nandini pov – Soon Neyonika Aunty came cryingly towards me and attached me to her . she was sobbing hard and saying sorry

Neyonika – am sorry nandini we are really sorry . Its all my fault I should not have called you here am really sorry princess .

Nandini pov – I was not able to react , my eyes were lingering on him and his were on me . that guy rohan and his mother were begging to raj uncle for mercy , but the his voice again shocked me

Manik (shouts )- No you will ask sorry from nandini , Not from my father . you both are culprits of MY NANDINI , she suffered a lot of pain because of you both . Did you know how hard she cried when you raised questions on her parents parenting ? you called her characterless. Do you know how it feels ?She didn't sleep properly , your words were haunting her . SHE LOOKS BRAVE ENOUGH FROM OUTSIDE, BUT YOU PEOPLE BROKE HER FROM INSIDE SHE LOST HER CONFIDENCE , your words slashed on her soul. And you think your one sorry would wash away all her pain .

Rohan (cryingly)- Nandini please forgive me , And holds her leg

Manik (angrily )- How dare you touch her , keep your filthy hands off her , And pushes him back and was punching him mercilessly .

Raj – Manik please keep calm down son , now everything is clear we will hand him to police , its their duty to punish not our's my son .

Manik (cryingly)- No dad , Do you remember the look on nandini's face she was begging these people for one chance dad , to prove herself did they give her ? No , if we would not have been here what would have happened to her dad ?

Raj – your correct manik , But please for your my sake listen to me

Manik nods at his father , and looks at nandini cryingly

Manik – am calling the police

Raj – ok manik , lets go home after this we need to discuss a lot I guess , And sighs

Manik – No dad I have some work , And walks away angrily

Neyonika (cryingly)- I said you raj our son can never do anything wrong , he is just stubborn but he has a golden heart . we misunderstood him .

Raj (sighs)- am really sorry neyonika , I could not trust , understand my own blood .Nandini we are really sorry beta

Nandini – no uncle if manik would not have been there then , And starts crying

Nandini pov - where did he go ? Am sorry manik please come back .Am really sorry .

Hey guys , its night 1:30 now and am all dead tired , I had a bad day . And I have an important news to break to you all My mom she actually asked me not to write any stories for time being she wants me to concentrate on studies because NEXT WEEK ONWARDS I HAVE ALL CONTINUOUS EXAMS she is quite worried as next sem I would have my JOB PLACEMENTS . So I gave her a word that I will definitely not disappoint her , So the updates will be very slow and I would update them at mid night because I dont have time and I don't want my mom to be upset with me when she sees that am writing stories . Now she is sleeping so I kind off sneaked and wrote this in hurry . And morning again I have to get up quickly and start preparations for exams I will be online till 2 replying all the comments , love I would receive from you guys .
