(street festival, Minyeon POV)

This week, Seoul was holding its annual summer street festival for everyone. JB and I brought our kids with us to the festival. Of course, the twins begged us to invite their Uncle Yugyeom, Uncle Youngjae, and Uncle Junior. Jackson and Bam Bam were busy with filming outside the country while Mark is visiting his family in LA.

Jaeyeon grabs Yugyeom's hand and says, "Uncle Yugyeom! Uncle Yugyeom! Minjae and I want to go into the haunted house! Can you come with us?!" "Yeah!" Minjae asks. Then both the twins were pulling his hands saying, "Can we?! Can we?! Can we?!"

Laughing at his niece and nephew, Yugyeom says, "Of course." Jaeyeon and Minjae cheered as they ran up to me and Jaebum. "Appa! Eomma! Uncle Yugyeom is taking us to the haunted house!" they said as their eyes sparkled with delight.

"Y-You sure you munchkins want to go in there," JB stutters to our kids, "you could get scared." "No we won't," Minjae says. Jaeyeon giggles and says, "You're the one who would get scared Appa!" Yugyeom and I laugh at my husband because of that. "I'm sure it's not so scary," Yugyeom says.

"Come with us Appa!" the twins say. I then say, "If you get through with them, I'll give you a break from doing dishes for a week." "But if Appa screams in there," Minjae says. Jaeyeon finishes his sentence by saying, "Then Uncle Yugyeom has to hit Appa in the butt!" The twins laughed at their idea with Yugyeom.

(JB POV)

I was embarrassed after hearing what my kids said. Minyeon looks at me and says, "Come on honey, it can't be that bad if the twins want to go through it. Besides, it'll be funny to know the reaction you'll have afterwards." "Come on Appa," the twins say, being lead by Yugyeom to the haunted house.

"Alright," I said, then I turned to my wife, "See you in a few minutes honey. Make sure you and the others keep an eye on Jaemin and Minyoon," and kiss her cheek. "Sure Jaebum," says Minyeon, and she goes off with our two youngest kids. I hesitantly follow Yugyeom, Jaeyeon and Minjae into the haunted house.

Looking up at the house, I swallowed my saliva and heard Jaeyeon says, "You're not scared are you Appa?" "Of course not," I said to my daughter, "Appa is just trying to prepare himself." "To scream his lungs out," Minjae says, and he and Jaeyeon laugh at me. We payed the person at the entrance and stepped inside.

(haunted house, Yugyeom POV)

After entering the haunted house, we started looking around. To me, this doesn't seem so scary. It's like Halloween in July. Towards the exit of the first room, some swamp creatures pop out. JB Hyung and the twins screamed, but JB ran behind me, causing the twins to laugh at their Appa.

"Come on Hyung," I said. Jaeyeon and Minjae say, "The next stage awaits us Appa!" We carefully step into the next room, which looks like a cemetery. A ghost doll drops in front of us, and JB hits it, saying, "Stay away from my kids!" "Appa, it's just a doll," Minjae says. Jaeyeon tells her father, "Yeah. There's no need to be scared."

"So you don't care about me anymore Hyung?" I said jokingly. He says, "I just don't want my kids to get hurt. I know you can--," but gets interrupted when a zombie taps his shoulder, causing him to scream. Soon, we continue on to the next room. This one looks like the inside of a castle. I can see a coffin not too far ahead of us.

"Uncle Yugyeom, don't let go of my hand, please," Jaeyeon asks. I said, "Of course not sweetie. Uncle Yugyeom will protect you, Minjae, and your Appa." "We can count on you, Uncle Yugyeom," Minjae says. The coffin opens, revealing a vampire. JB screams and runs into the next room. The twins and I follow him.

This is the last room, we heard creepy circus music play. The twins and I know good and well JB hates clowns. A killer clown pops up and scares JB Hyung, who scurries off with the clown chasing him. I picked up Jaeyeon and Minjae, running towards the exit to follow JB.

We made it out of the haunted house, and started laughing at JB for screaming like such a coward. "You're such a scaredy cat Appa!" the twins said. I continued laughing with them as Minyeon shows up with Youngjae, Jinyoung, Jaemin, and Minyoon.

"Let me guess," Minyeon says, rocking a sleeping Minyoon, "Jaebum screamed and ran out of the haunted house." "Because he got chased by a clown," Jaeyeon and Minjae say to their mother. JB says, "Well, it looks like I have to do the dishes by myself." "And Uncle Yugyeom has to hit you in the butt," Minjae says.

Jaeyeon says, "Miji is right Appa. You must not break our promise, remember?" "This is going to be hilarious," Jinyoung Hyung says, "Let's go home then so we can make dinner, and so Jaebum can receive his punishment." "I need to put the babies down for a nap anyways," Minyeon says. We went towards the car and started heading to the house.

(Im residence, JB POV)

I was standing in the living room, facing the couch as Yugyeom gets ready to hit me. "Why did I ever agree to this?" I asked myself. "Because you love us," Jaeyeon says. Minjae tells me, "And it will be funny to watch Uncle Yugyeom's powerful hits in action." I said, "You munchkins are so lucky I do love you."

The twins giggled as Yugyeom says, "Just keep facing forward Jaebum, don't think about it." I did as Yugyeom says, and then held my breath. That's when I felt it. A firm, yet powerful smack to my butt, causing my to yelp and fall face forward onto the couch. The twins laughed at me, saying, "Appa got hit in the butt!!!" over and over.

"Since you had a rough day honey, I'll let you start doing the dishes tomorrow," my wife says. I said, "Thanks dear. I'm going to check on Jaemin and Minyoon to see if they're ready for dinner." I quietly walk up the stairs while holding my butt with my other hand.

I saw Jaemin already awake, holding his hands up towards me. Picking him up, I place him onto my back while we went to check on Minyoon. She was yawning, slowly opening her eyes, smiling when she saw me. My kids may be a handful sometimes, but I always remember how lucky and proud I am to have them in my life.

"You ready for dinner my precious baby princess?" I asked my daughter, while picking her up. She smiled while hugging my neck. I kissed her forehead and carefully took my two youngest kids downstairs. We ate dinner with everyone after the fun day we had. Well, almost fun day.
