"Are you serious? But it's already late and I don't think you should do this. It's not safe",he said sounding worried.

"Fine then, watch me eating this",she said and moaned after taking a piece of gulab jamun and keeping it in her mouth.

"Ugh, Ekantha you are making it tough for me",he groaned.

"Never mind, so how was your day?",she asked.

"Well, hectic? Hell yes! It's peak time and we got one more event",he said.

"That's a good news isn't it? You are expanding and isn't what you wanted?",she asked.

"Well that's true but I am kind of nervous, my dream is to take this start up to a small company at least and this is one of the steps towards it",he said and she hmmed.

"And you don't want another important step in your life to be taken now?",she asked.

"No, it's not like that. I am worried if I would be able to take all the responsibilities together and manage them",he said thinking deeply.

"It's not that we have to get married now, and I know you are worried about us",she said.

"It's not just about us, I would have to do some extra courses, hire some more people. As of now they're all my friends and they were with me since the start of my start up. In fact they're all my partners who supported my idea. I need to talk to them and more stuff, I am afraid we'll get very less time and you might get irritated",he was blabbering thinking something deeply.

"Overthinking, aren't you?",she asked chuckling.

"Am I? I don't know. I really don't know what to do and what will result in what",he said and sighed.

"You need to stop overthinking first, that's not going to help at any cost but ruin your inner peace. You need to calm down, figure out your way of dealing this and go with flow",she said with a small smile and before he could reply the screen went off.

Ekantha's POV

Oh god! Did he get angry for what I said? Maybe he was upset and my words were of no help. Did I speak way too much? I should have stayed in my limits. Why do I always do this? I always cross my limits. Maybe we were still not into that phase. Maybe I entered into his zone which I didn't have any right to

When Ekantha was lost in her own thoughts her phone buzzed. She opened the text from Abhi.

Hey, Sorry didn't notice my laptop was low on charge. It got switched off, will call you now? Or wait you better rest. You've work tomorrow and I am kind of tired too. Good night Ammu.

She breathed in relief when she saw the text but her thoughts had more control on her than her heart. They were that powerful to rise her till the best Or kick her into something she would never be able to overcome from.

All Ekantha needed was to not let her thoughts control her rather she must control her thoughts.

With all the thoughts running in her brain, she dozed off on her bed after doing the dishes.

The next morning :

"Ekantha, Ekantha",a voice came first followed by few knocks on the door.

Surprisingly, Ekantha was fast asleep that day and the sound from the door woke her up. She tied her hair into a bun and pushed her duvet away getting down from bed.

She rubbed her eyes before opening the door. She unlocked the door and was surprised to see Vennela there. She was not expecting to see her then.

"We need to talk",she said.

Ekantha just nodded.

"May I come in?",she asked yet again formally.

"Yes, Vennela. Just give me a few minutes I'll be back",she said and closed the door.

She checked her phone and it was 7am in the morning, nobody was going to drop her and she did not wanted to be late yet again. Neither can she leave her friend who came to talk to her. She was contemplating what to do, and while doing so she thought either ways she would need to freshen up and went to take a bath.

After 20 minutes she completed her morning chores and was braiding her hair in front of the mirror. She packed her bag for work and put on the watch along with the bracelet that she got from Abhi. She opened the door to see Anika and Vennela were sitting on the couch.

She could see how awkward it was getting and it wasn't the right time to talk about what happened. She made up her mind to tell Vennela that she would talk to her in the evening.

She walked up till Vennela and Vennela looked back at her with questioning eyes.

"What happened Ekantha?",she asked eyeing Anika.

"Vennela, I really need to go to work now. I'll catch up evening with you. I am sorry", she said.

It wasn't easy to tell it to her. She already mentally lived in the situations that would happen as soon as she says this. She expected Vennela to walk away from there or Anika to convince Vennela about Arya and they both end up fighting or Anika would walk out or thinking about all this maybe she would shout at them in frustration.

"It's okay, I'll drop you at school come",Vennela offered and Ekantha nodded.

She bid bye to Anika and went from there. Vennela started her scooty and Ekantha sat behind her after wearing a helmet.

"Soo, how is it going?",Vennela asked.

"Hmm? What Vennela?",Ekantha asked.

"Things with him are going good?",she asked.

"Yea, till now they're going good. Don't know further",she said.

"Well, how do you want it to be?",Vennela asked.

"I don't know, I feel I am not a person for such lifetime commitments",she said what was honestly running in her thoughts.

"Did something happen?",Vennela asked.

"Nope, nothing happened. It's just I am thinking a lot about this",she admitted.

"Then don't think, see Ekantha all days are not a like, every day is new, every day we learn something new. You just have to go with flow",she said and Ekantha just nodded.

"Also, once you are done here for next 6 months or an year don't stop your career here. May be explore yourself and go for better opportunities remember always this is the start and there is a lot to come that might be in your personal life or professional life",Vennela said.

"Yea, aunty actually wants the administration staff to handle social media of the school and Asmita wants me to take it up. I've decided I will take it up. I'll see what to do further and we surely will talk this evening no matter what okay?",Ekantha said as Vennela halted her scooty near school.

"Will you be okay if Arya comes home? I really want to sort out things before it's too late",she said.

"Yea, it's..its okay",she said.

"Alright, I am free today. I'll pick you at 5 then along with amma?",she asked and Ekantha nodded.

She went into the school quickly, the morning prayer was wrapped up and Asmita came to her.

"So, Ekantha you'll be taking it up or should I ask the men to?",she asked.

"I am taking it up, can you please brief me the details and my responsibilities a long with the work once, Asmita",she asked.

"Sure, I'll just inform Principal and come back to you",she said and Ekantha felt some unknown confidence building in herself instead of fears that she would fail doing the responsibilities.
