When I got recruited by the end of September, I picked my uniform on the way out, then I had to collect the requisites I needed for the following week in order to be able to work. Bank account, medical check-ups, stamps, social security number, the power bill, etc.

Once I had all the paperwork, I brought the documents to the police station in order to have my finger prints registered in the database. I waited, until it was my turn to enter the room where a man in a uniform requested to see my ID and social security card before reurning it, then proceeded to activate a bulky machine to initiate the scan.

This machine scanned the fingers by pressing on the laminated plaque, my fingers where smeared with some type if charcoal or ink while the machine showed the shape of my finger prints while the guy moved my fingers to and fro for the machine to scan each of my digits.

Once the procedure was completed I left the room to return the pen to the secretary back when I was adding the references in one of the papers the company gave to fill out. The elderly secretary half-joked that I could be arrested for theft. After I left the police station, I went back home to eat lunch. But before I could eat, my mother prompted that I call the supervisor.
To my surprise, he responded.

Of course, since it was already noon it meant that the supervisor was able to pick up during his lunch break.

“Hello?”

“Hi, I'm a new recruit. I was wondering when will I begin working?”

“How about tomorrow?” The supervisor asked.

“I'll have to check my schedule.” I hung up and consulted with my mother about it. To make the long story short, she got me to call him again to confirm that I'll start working by tomorrow morning.

Now to the more serious question, why of all places did I choose to go back to high school?

To answer that question:
1) It's near where I live since I don't have my own ride.
2) There are shopping stores next to the school district.
3) I can buy groceries, clothes, and other stuff when my shift ends.
4) There is also a bank for me to check my transactions.
5) I'm out of options since it's my first job working as a security guard.

I lack job experience despite that I graduated as an honor student. I spent 3 years of high school to graduate as the top of my class only for my future to roll downhill from there.
