You were the official photographer for the Avengers-well besides Peter Parker of course- and when the Guardians of the Galaxy came to Earth to pay a visit, you were asked by Maria Hill to take photos of the group, to "humanize" them. Many civilians were still jittery with the group from space, especially with Inhumans living among them and with what happened with Hive.

You meet the Guardians at a county fair in southern New York.

"Hi," you say as you walk to the leader of their group, who just so happened to be the one and only, Peter Quill.

"I'm Y/N. I'm pleased to meet you all." You hold out your hand for Peter to shake, but instead he kisses it.

"The pleasure's all mine ma'am," he says with a wink.

"I'm Peter Quill, but I'm sure you already know that," he says flashing a grin. He proceeds to introduce you to the rest of the group. Rocket, the talking raccoon, Baby Groot, the little tree that also talked but only said "I am Groot," a green-skinned lady, Gamora, and Drax...the guy that took everything literally. After the introductions, you let them loose into the fair. Everyone finds something to do but Peter. He sticks by your side as you take pictures of the outer space version of the Avengers.

"So, do you have a boyfriend? Cute boyfriend? Captain America? Iron Man? Hawkeye? No, he's taken. Falcon? Ooh, I know, Thor! It's those muscles isn't it?" He questions you.

"Like that would ever happen," you laugh. "I'm just waiting for the right partner."

"I see," he responds. "By the way, I'm single too." He winks at you again.

"Oh really?" You say, trying to sound uninterested as you take another photo of him as he does the milk bottle throw.

"I guess you could say that I too, am waiting for the right partner." He stares at you. "And maybe, I'm looking right at her."

"You're a funny man, Peter Quill," you chuckle lightly. "You are very photogenic," you comment. "And smiley."

"Especially when I'm around you," he flirts.

"I barely know you," you scoff.

"We could always change that."

"Mmm, I think I'll pass," you decline.

"Please?" He begs you.

"Nah."

"At least go on the Ferris wheel with me."

"Fine," you relent.

"Yay!" He squeaks ecstatically. He grabs your hand and practically drags you over to the wheel and you actually end up having a good time on the ride, talking about life and other stuff. (Very specific. Shut up! Ten points to anyone who got that reference lol)

Eventually, the night comes to a close.

"Do I need to pay you anything? Any tips or whatever?" Peter asks you.

"I'm sure Tony will take care of it," you reply.

"Come on, I gotta give you something!"

"I'm fine Peter," you insist. He pulls you close to him, your faces nearly touching.

"How about this as a payment?" He whispers.

"How about wh-" He cuts you off by pressing a kiss to your lips.

"So, coffee later on? Before I leave?"

"Of course."

A/N: holy crap it's an actual update! God, that was terrible because I haven't written anything since December....yikes... I will start updating more again but testing season is coming up and it'll be "study till two am" time. I do apologize for not updating for months. I just haven't been having inspiration or an urge to update but I think I'm back. I have a few one-shots in mind to publish sometime this week. They are:
