I instantly shot up from my bed as I heard horses neighing, gunshots and screams of horror and distress. I got up and ran out the door, only to see a sea of bandits, outlaws and rouges.

I saw my friend, Ladybug fighting one of the outlaws, when I rushed to her side and knocked the outlaw out cold. "What's going on!?!" I asked, though it sounded like I was yelling. " A band of bandits, outlaws and rouges went all over tryin to take over towns. Fortunately, they never succeeded. But we weren't expecting them, since our town is hard to find... " Ladybug answered, her voice trembling.

A horse neighed behind me and I turned to see Starlight forcefully being dragged away. Her rider, Astro, was struggling to get up and he looked pretty beaten up, too. 'I need to help. But how...' I thought. I glanced at Ladybug. "Do you have any weapon that I could borrow?" She nodded and handed me a pistol. I aimed the gun at the bandit before quickly pulling the trigger, kiling the bandit.

Starlight reared up in fright. I ran to her side. "It's ok, Starlight.... You're not gonna get hurt. I'm here..." I tried calming her down. And surprisingly , it worked. I saw Astro stand up. "Did you just save my horse?" He asked . I nodded. Astro blushed and held Starlight's reins. "Thank you, Abbie." I blushed and nodded. But as I looked around, almost everyone 's horses were being dragged away from their riders.

As the last bandit retreated, I dropped to my knees, exhausted. I felt strong, yet gentle arms wrap around me in a hug. I turned, accidentally crashing my lips onto Astro's. He too was surprised, but kissed back. I was hesitant at first, but kissed back, his hands roaming through my reddish brown hair.

As we pulled apart, I blushed. "Uh.... T-Thank you.." I looked away, embarrased. Astro lifted up my chin with only one hand. "It's fine, Abbie." He leaned in for another kiss, but this time, I wasn't as hesitant. The kiss felt like everything that made me happy in life. We pulled apart again. I heard him whisper in my ear: "I love you"

I smiled. "I love you, too~" Ladybug rolled her eyes. "What?" I asked. Ladybug just smirked and said, " So you two are a thing, now? " I blushed. Astro tipped his hat. "I reckon we can. If that's cool with you, Abbie..." I instantly embraced him in a hug. "Of course!"
