I never imagined myself getting married to my long time crush, Turtle.

Flashback

"Where are you taking me?" I asked. " you'll see, bae. " My boyfriend, Turtle replied. After what felt like an hour of walking, I heard Turtle say: " ok, baby, take the blindfold off. "

I unfolded the rag around my eyes, and once they adjusted to the light, I covered my mouth in shock. Bended on one knee lay Turtle, holding a little black box with a ruby red jewel on top.

"Y/n, will you marry me?" At that moment , my life flashed. "Y-yes! Of course!" I yelped , not noticing the tears that flew from my cheeks.

"Hey. Y/n. You good?" I snapped back into reality when my maid of honor, Kangaroo, snapped her fingers. "Ah. Yeah." I answered quickly . "Good, cause the wedding's starting." Kangaroo said, pointing behind her. She was right. A smooth piece of music floated into the bridemaid's room.

"Alright! It's showtime!" Kangaroo shouted, pushing me out. I stood out in the open. Multiple people staring at me. I froze. 'what am I supposed to do again?' I asked myself. I looked around, silently asking people what I should do.

I took a deep breath and made my way down the hall. Turtle and I decided to hold the wedding in a meadow, where we first met. I couldn't really see that well with the veil, but I kinda had to deal with it.

I finally reached the pedestal where my fiance stood. Since we couldn't afford a priest to do the ceremony with , Turtle's friend, Rhino, decided to help out. As soon as the vows were shared, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." Were the only things I heard.

Turtle swept my veil aside, gazing at me. I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned in for the kiss. I felt him kiss back, his arms around my waist. As soon as we parted, cheers could be heard around the meadow.

But above all the noise, I gazed at my new husband. "Thank you, Turtle. For being my husband." Turtle gently kissed my cheeks. "No. Thank you for being my wife." I laughed a little. At the end of the day, the party ran smoothly.

I'd say it was something to 'shell- abrate' dang it now I'm making puns...
