Leon Everett is the main protagonist of Phantom Encounter, a supernatural, comedy story written by metxlmoon. He is a high school student filled with gigs and countless shenanigans, and usually gets in trouble with the principal or the teachers due to his actions.

Hence with all due respect, my assigned MBTI for him:

Cognitive functions:

Ne (Extraverted intuition) > Ti (Introverted Thinking) > Fe (Extraverted Feeling) > Si (Introverted Sensing)

Based on what I have read through the chapters, Leon's behavior is a highly indicative that of an ENTP, the debater. They are also my favorite MBTI type for fictional characters!

SUMMARY

Leon may be viewed as the class clown: mischievous to the core, foolish and impulsive, but he is extremely quick-witted and possess a controversial sense of humor. He sports a very comical and airy vibes that may scream immaturity to others. This is blatantly shown on how he deals with people whom he shown contempt with or even his friends, coming up with a creative series of bickerings and insults, even in his narrative voice---which is awesome job by the author. He is the type to never give up on provocative arguments, rarely bothered if one is terribly pissed at him, taking pride and finding some kind of amusement by pushing their buttons.

EXTRAVERTED

While Leon claims to hate social interactions and would rather stay away from crowds, that doesn't mean introversion. I found him to be completely energized by hanging around his social circle, especially Jackie and potentially the theater club. I can see him always searching for someone he could talk to, sharing countless ideas of who to prank, what stuff to use and how to carry out these impulsive plans. To the people whom had hurt his friends, he would go out his way to retaliate.

INTUITIVE

His Ne (extraverted intuition) is imminent throughout his story. The fact that his wittiness enables him to come up with wacky and out-of-the-ordinary ideas, such as when he decides to violate a school banner in a supposed revenge against Jackie's bullies. When I assess his narrative voice, he does constantly seem to be drowning in his own fantasy, as well as coming up with satirical and often flippant descriptions.

THINKING

The nature of how he processes his thoughts is pretty much debatable. He could most likely be a feeler (ENFP), but personally for me, he does use logic --- well, at least according to his opinions --- rather than dwelling in his emotions or considering emotionally charged information. This can be seen when he questions the appearance of Nora, the ghost that clings into him---he is more focused on how to handle the situation, how to deal being around her, rather than understanding her intentions.

He also processes the world in a big picture, making possible theories with details coming second, thus his strong Ti (introverted thinking). Additionally, with or without intentions, his humor can be a little over the top for some people, but he did not seem to care of it and continue to do what he likes.

PERCEIVING

Routines and schedules --- and commitments --- are the bane of his existence, hence following rules are not his forte. He prefers everything to be spontaneous and loves it when he is able to adapt to situations rather than being forced to do something.

When he is persuaded to join a club to compensate for the countless of detentions, he does dislike it as it disturbs with his so-called "peaceful, chaotic life", but he quickly adapts to such a situation. He managed to develop quirky friendship or tension with its members, such as Terrence, Cyra, Lucas and especially Cordelia.

And thus, I concluded Leon to be an ENTP :)
