Nobody's POV

It was cold outside! Everytime anybody talked, their breathing would come out as a white puff of foggy coldness.

Snow covered the ground, houses, trees and people.

But today, things might warm up.

"Everyone pack up! We're going to the mountains!!" Jesse announced as he burst into the room.

Petra was slouching lazily on the couch.
Axel was already organizing his TNT.
Olivia was melting redstone. Wait- what?!

Jesse snapped his thoughts out of Olivia's experiment and focused on Petra.

"Why are you just laying around? Let's go have some fun!" Jesse tried to pull Petra off the couch.

"What's the point of having fun if there's nothing to do?" Petra groaned.

"I'm taking you all sledding and skiing." Jesse struggled while pulling her off.

Axel, Olivia, and Petra all jumped up and exclaimed, "Sledding?!"

Jesse fell from the sudden action and sighed. "Yes." He deadpans.

"Alright! Everyone pack up and dress up! Things are about to get cold." Olivia raced towards her room.

"I'm packing all my TNT to blow up a mountain!" Axel as well raced to his room.

Jesse and Petra were left alone.

"Something tells me things are going to get weird." Petra chuckled.
"Maybe the good kind of weird." He adds still sitting on the ground.

Petra walks towards the hallway but stops and looks at Jesse. "I'm going to go umm- pack and - change. Soo...yea." She quickly walks towards her room.

"Heh heh. Yea, okay." Jesse sighs.
Maybe today might turn out good. At least I hope it does-

They made it safely to the mountains. There were cabins and lodges.
Also people who were enjoying themselves by skiing and snowboarding.

Axel did a low whistle. "That hill over there is perfect!" He pointed to the horizon.

"I don't think that's a good idea. It looks too high and steep." Jesse said nervously.

"Oh c'mon Jesse. This could be fun. Besides," He looks behind Petra. "Look who's coming."

They all turned around and saw Jesse's sister Jess. She ran over to them looking excited.

"Hey guys!!" She hugged each friend tightly. "I'm so happy to see you all! Especially you bro." She smirked and nudged Jesse.

"Ha! Us too Jess! How have you been? What are you doing here? " Petra said happily.

"I came here for the snowboarding competition! It's going to be fun and of course, yours truly is going to compete." Jess smiled.

"No way!" Axel shook Jess by her shoulders. "I want to join!"

"Of course, but I didn't know you snowboard." She raised an eyebrow.

"Yea me either Axel." Jesse crossed his arms.
"There's a lot of things you don't know about me. I'm not the only one either." Axel turned his attention towards Olivia.

Everyone looks at Olivia, causing her to blush. "Well, I prefer to skii but I snowboard a little." She scratches her neck.

Jesse and Jess smile.

Jess turns to Petra. "How about you Petra. Wanna compete? I know you can snowboard."

"I'd rather not. I just want to relax for a bit. How about you guys go?" She crosses her arms trying to warm herself up.

"Well. Ok then, if you say so. You Jesse?"
"I'm with Petra. I just want to relax for now." He attempts a smile.

Jess sighs. "Well okay then. But don't get carried away." She elbows Jesse on his arm.
He frowns.

"I'm outta here!" Jess runs towards the competition area.
"Right behind you!" Axel runs behind her.

Olivia turns to look at Jesse and Petra. "You two be careful." She says calmly. "Who knows what could happen here."

"Thanks Olivia. We will, but out of curiosity, at what time does it start?" Jesse asked.

"At sundown."
"In about 2 hours."
"Yea. Well I'll be going then."

She runs towards the path Axel and Jess took.

"You wanna go sledding?" Jesse finally asks.
"Mmm...sure!" Petra smiles.

They were both at the top of a hill on a short toboggan.
Petra sat in the front and Jesse behind her.

"You ready?" Jesse asked playfully.
"This hill looks really high. I don't think it's a good id-EEEEEEAAAAA!!" Jesse had pushed the toboggan and were now sledding at full speed.

"Eeeeeaaahhhhh!!" Petra screamed of fear and happiness.

The cold wind blew on her face and through her hair. She had butterflies in her stomach.

"This is awesome!!" Jesse held onto Petra's waist.

She blushed and before she knew it, they were already at the bottom of the hill.

Jesse hopped off immediately. "Now it's your turn." He laughed.
"Wha-?!" Petra jumped off as well.

"You have to do it by yourself now. Don't worry I'll be down here waiting for you. If you fall I'll catch you." He grins widely.

"B-but. I don't know how to do this!" Petra objects.
"You don't know till you try it." Jesse responds.

Petra sighs in defeat and climbs up the tall and large hill.

Okay. Just like we did a while ago. Besides, he did say if I fall he'll catch me. Although that's kinda cheesy. Meh, I can take care of myself.

Petra made it to the top. She pushed the toboggan and immediately jumped on.

She was sledding down at top speed. She saw Jesse up ahead who was standing there smiling with hands in his pockets.

She smiled as well but soon faded when she spotted a rock. "That rock wasn't the before!!"

Jesse's smile turned into a worried expression.
The toboggan hit the rock and sent Petra flying foward.

Jesse extended his arms out to catch her but her impact was strong enough to send them both falling to the ground.

They both groaned in pain.

"My legs hurt." Jesse whined.
"Well a part of my chest hurts. So don't complain." Petra said.

Once they both opened their eyes, their eyes widened in shock and embarrassment.

Petra had landed on top of Jesse. Her head on his chest.

They both blushed like crazy. But Petra just sighed in defeat and didn't move.

"I give up." She hugged Jesse and closed her eyes.

Jesse was still blushing. "W-what?" He asked nervously.

"Just...stay here." She mumbled.
Jesse couldn't help but smile.
He sat up anyway.

Petra sat up as well and placed her head on his shoulder.

The lights from the competition flashed up ahead. They were different colors and a beautiful sight with the dark yellow-orange color of the horizon.

"It started." Petra sighed.
"Yea." Jesse responds.

Petra then plants a kiss on his cheek. "Thank you for everything."

"Heh heh. Sure." He smiles and lays a hand on his cheek. "You're welcome."
