Ashton sits there, watching as Luke laughs with Calum and he feels a pang in his heart and yeah, Ashton's a little too familiar with heartache.

He thinks that unrequited love is one of the worst things that love can do to someone; he can tesitify to that, because he's sitting here watching Luke laugh with one of his best mates with no clue that Ashton loves him.

But then again, it's not the worst thing love can do. No, not even close and Ashton's one of the few people who know the truth.

The worst thing love can do to you is shove the person that broke up with you in your face.

Granted, it wasn't Luke's idea, but Luke just left him like this but Luke didn't know the truth-Ashton loved Luke. Like really, really loved him.

He still does to this day.

And it sucks, because Luke is so close to Ashton, looking so cute with his eyes and his lip ring and those damn long legs, and yeah, it sucks ass because Ashton can't kiss him because they're just friends now and yeah, Ashton knows the tragedies that love holds.
