It all started when they invited her to their lunch table.

It was also the day when she learned that lunch time was World War III in school.

She could tell from the people who was sitting with who: jocks, people that took out their stress in food, dramatic people, nerds, Asian guys, etc.

"This seat's taken," a girl said, placing her purse on a seat that was obviously not taken. It made her angry, but she moved on.

Going around and around like the lights on a Christmas tree. Yet she failed to make any new friends.

She was walking to the bathroom to eat alone when she passed their table.

The Plastics.

She had heard from Anemone and Clay who they were. The Plastics- fake as a plastic, pretty as a Barbie.

According to Anemone, everyone worshipped the Plastics. Everyone except her, apparently.

She must have been just standing there dumbly, because one of the girls nudged the one in the middle.

"Sit." In the middle was a girl with blonde hair and gorgeous green eyes. That must be her. Glory. "So...who are you? I don't think I have seen you before."

"What?" Tsunami said. "Oh. I moved here from...from Africa."

Glory raised an eyebrow. "From Africa?"

"Yeah. I was homeschooled." Tsunami tried to give her a grin.

Glory's eyes widened. "Homeschooled? Shut up! Shut up!"

"I...I didn't say anything." This girl was confusing the crap out of her.

She ignored her. "Coolness! So, like, this is new to you? Like, coming to school?"

Tsunami scratched her neck. "Y-yeah." Coolness? Seriously?

The one that was sitting at the right side of Glory gave her a confused look. "If you're from Africa, why are you white?"

Tsunami gave her a frown. You don't have to be an African American to live in Africa, duh!

"Oh my gosh, Fatespeaker, you just don't ask people why they're white!" The one right side of Glory said. She then turned to Tsunami. Her green eyes were sparkling, which sort of have her an innocent, merry look. "Heyyy. I'm Sunny. I think it's really cool you came to our school. Besides, you're really, really pretty."

Tsunami suddenly felt very uncomfortable. She had heard words like crazy rich and ugly and pretty ugly, but never really really pretty. "Thanks?"

Glory stopped sipping her drink to give her a strange look. "So you agree? You think you're really pretty?"

Tsunami felt overwhelmed. Am I not supposed to? "Huh? I...I don't know."

"Hey, can you give us some privacy for a moment?" Glory said with a smile.

Tsunami blinked. "Yeah, sure. Whatever."

She focused on eating her lunch, her eyes on her apple juice. She turned and gave a look to her Clay and Anemone, who were sitting behind her.

They just shrugged.

The Plastics were whispering to each other. Is this normal for girls in the school?

I don't fit at all, do I?

"What's your name again?" Glory asked, apparently done with all the privacy.

"Tsunami," she replied.

Glory gave her a grin. "Hey, Tsunami. I'm Glory, and I'm the Queen Bee of our group. That's Sunny, and that's Fatespeaker and Peril. This doesn't happen often, but we're inviting you to sit with us." Glory stabbed her lunch with her fork. "Everyday."

Tsunami raised an eyebrow. "Oh, um..."

Sunny gave her a smile. "Do say yes."

Tsunami eyed her lunch. No more eating in the bathroom. No more lonely classes, no more weird looks.

"Yeah, sure. Thanks." Tsunami managed to grin.

"Coolness," The red haired girl, Peril, said. "Wait, is that yours?" She suddenly pointed at her shirt.

Duh, that's why I'm wearing it. "Yeah?"

Peril widened her blue eyes. Wow, all of these girls were pretty. Like...gorgeous. Like...model gorgeous. "That's so cute. Is it cashmere? It's so fetch."

"Fetch?"

"You're so fetch!" Fatespeaker said, giving her a smile. Then she went back to eating her burrito.

Is it...a compliment?

"So, here are the rules. You can't wear sweatpants on Monday. You can't wear tank tops two times a week. On Wednesdays, we wear pink. Only wear a ponytail once a week. Before you buy something, show it to your friends. If we're not with you, take a picture and send it to us. Got it?" Glory paused to take a breath.

Tsunami felt dizzy with all this girly rules. "Okay?"

"You can only wear blue jeans or sweatpants on Friday. Do not break the rules, or you can't sit with us."

"That's...a lot of rules," Tsunami commented.

Sunny shrugged. "They're sensible."

Then the bell rang, and all four of them stood up like models and walked away to throw their trash away. Tsunami turned to talk to Anemone and Clay.

"Why did you sit with them?" Anemone said. "That's ridiculous."

Tsunami shrugged. "Uh, they, just...They invited me to their lunch table, what can I do? Abandon them?"

Anemone's eyes widened. "They did WHAT? Okay, you have to hang out with them and tell me all the ridiculous things they do!"

Tsunami frowned. "What? No!"

"Africa, you seem like you don't know something, but those girls, they're called the Plastics." Anemone rolled her eyes. "They're plain evil."

"One of them seemed really nice. Sunny, I think it was?"

Anemone shook her head. "A total backstabber."

"Uh...Fatespeaker?"

"A devil in disguise."

"Peril?"

"Dont even make me start on her."

"Fine." Tsunami crossed her arms. "Glory? The...whatyoucallit...Queen Bee?"

Anemone huffed. "A goddess of hatred and manipulation."

She didn't trust her on it, did he went around asking about them.

It turned out the entire school worshipped them.

"They are flawless."

"Peril? I hear she does car commercials...In Japan."

"Sunny's favorite movie is Varsity Blues."

"Fatespeaker, huh? I heard her hair's insured for 10,000 dollars."

"Glory? One time, she punched me in the face. It was awesome."

She just sort of gave up after that.

How you like the first chapter? So excited for this XP remember that it might not for exactly like the Mean Girls, and not exactly like Wings of Fire.

And there might be times where the characters will might seem a little out of characters. Remember that this is just fanfiction!
