Nola Scott

The past two weeks have been the craziest of my life.

Being the girlfriend of a Stanley Cup Champion has been insane, to say the least. Even though we're not together in public, I've been showing up to public events and sticking with Ember and Kaitlyn who have also been invited because of their boyfriends. The celebrations have been grand and every now and then, Miles and I will sneak into the bathroom together for a quick make-out session.

It's not ideal that we're not able to be together twenty-four seven but seeing him have fun with his team and celebrate their accomplishment makes my heart burst. He deserves all of this and more. I can tell how happy he's been and it makes me even happier.

As much as I enjoy coming out and celebrating with him, being back home when it's just the two of us, is my favorite thing. Ever since the night he won the Stanley Cup Championship, we haven't been able to keep our hands to ourselves. We're having sleepovers every day and most nights we don't get a good night's sleep because we're exploring and devouring each other's body.

I'm thoroughly enjoying getting to know his body and him getting to know mine. I was kind of scared of losing my virginity that night because of stories I've heard in the past but my experience was nothing like that. Except for the small pain in the beginning, it didn't hurt at all afterward. Miles did everything in his power that night to please me and make me feel safe.

It was perfect because it was with him.
Now, I can't get enough.

Miles and I lay naked in my bed. We're the only ones here tonight. Sometimes we'll coordinate with Em and JT so we have alone time like this. Those two are currently out watching a movie. I lay my chin on his chest and look up at him. He's telling me about his collab with Nike and how ecstatic they were that the Kings won the Stanley Cup. His collab is set to go up soon and he's actually excited about it.

He wasn't sure about it a couple of months ago but now it's just another step into his career. Just last night, he won the Hart Memorial Trophy which is given to the league MVP. He's been the best player in the whole league this season in my opinion but Miles didn't think he would win this one. Since I couldn't make it, I was watching from home, cheering him on and in tears of course.

I'm so proud of him. Even though I can't be next to him during moments like this, I'm always cheering him on behind the scenes. It was kind of upsetting that after they won the Stanley Cup Championship I couldn't join Ember and all the other girls on the ice to congratulate our men. In moments like that, all I can think about is being with Miles. Seeing him down there was beautiful, I just wish I could have been there too.

I'm not hating the lowkey relationship we have. It's going great and keeping away from the media is the best choice for us but it does suck not being able to celebrate with him as closely as I want to. Maybe one day it won't be like this but for now, I'll cherish our memories together. Those for just me and him.

Speaking of the NHL Awards though, JT was given the Calder Memorial Trophy which is given to the standout rookie of the year. Ember went to the awards as his date and she was very, very excited for him. Their little moment on TV made my eyes teary. Both of my best friends dating each other is the best thing ever. Seeing them happy makes me emotional. I gave JT a big hug and congratulations on his win.

We all knew he'd get the award.

"My dad's kind of mad we haven't been to Oak Hill to hang out. He hasn't seen you since the last time he came out to a game," I giggle. Unfortunately, my parents and siblings weren't able to come to game five but they still watched on TV. Miles told me Dad texted him congratulations afterward. Now Dad's been asking when we're coming to visit. Like I said, Miles has been busy celebrating so we haven't had much time to go anywhere.

We've seen Miles' parents twice because of family-friendly celebration events. Getting to know his parents more and more has been so much fun. It feels like I've known them forever. Miles purses his lips at the mention of my dad. "Do you think it might be time?" he asks, combing a hand through my tangled strands. I furrow my brows slightly. "To tell my mom and dad about your connection to Ryle?"

Miles rubs his lips together and nods. I try moving the piece of hair that hangs over his forehead but it falls back into place. "Yeah, whenever you're ready. Just let me know," I assure him. This whole time, I was waiting for Miles to be ready to share that news with my mom. Never was it my intent to force him to do something he wasn't ready for.

"The seasons over now. I was waiting until it was to do anything. I also want to tell your mom because I want to meet Ryle's family soon too," Miles tells me. A smile overtakes my face then. Anyone who's in my boyfriend's life is absolutely lucky. Ryle's family deserves to know about his existence. Miles is probably the closest thing they have to him.

He smiles back and rubs my bare back. "You're gonna be there, right? When I meet Ryle's family?" he asks. "Of course. I'd love to join you. They're going to be over the moon, I'm sure. And emotional," I tell him. He sighs, "Yeah. We'll see. Hopefully, they don't push me away. Might think I'm lying to them."

"That's why Beth gave you your birth certificates and I'll be there to back you up. I'm Brynn's daughter. They might not recognize me but I'll let them know if they don't believe your story," I assure my boyfriend, rubbing his chest soothingly. He taps the small of my back and I sit up as he does too. "Be honest. Pretend you have no clue I'm Ryle's son.." he pauses, "do I look like him?"

I turn my head to the side to get a good look at him. Ryle doesn't even cross my mind. All I think about is how beautiful Miles is. His pretty gray eyes, and dark hair, carved by the God's body. How did I get so lucky? I catch Miles staring at my chest and narrow my eyes. "Eyes up here, bud."

"Sorry ma'am."

I smile and then look at him again. This time Ryle does pop into my head. I remember the pictures Mom has shown me or him and the ones Bethany showed Miles in Miami. They're not identical twins but they do look strangely alike. It's just the hair that's different.

Same eyebrows.
Same eye and lip shape.
Same eye color.

"Yes. You do, babe," I tell him. "You're handsome." He quirks a brow up. "Calling my birth father handsome?" I laugh at that and push his arm lightly. "I'm calling you handsome." Miles tugs me over to him and lays my head in his lap. I close my eyes, feeling comfortable as he caresses my cheek with his fingers. "Thanks for being here for me these past two weeks, gorgeous."

A smile tugs at my lips. "I'm always going to be here. I'm proud of you still. Just as much as I was two weeks ago," I remind him. He's been doing a lot these past two weeks and it's making me excited for him. The Stanley Cup Championship was one major accomplishment but now he's doing more. He's donated a bunch of money, done community work, and visited the children's hospital a couple of days ago.

How he did that without crying I have no idea. You're not supposed to cry but I'm a sensitive person sometimes and seeing children like that would hurt my soul. Miles said it was hard but he tried to stay positive for them and himself.

Overall, his humanity is making me proud.
Falling for Miles was easy.
What more could you want in a man?

Miles and I order some takeout and watch a movie before falling asleep for the night. The next morning, he isn't in bed anymore when I wake up. He had a meeting with his manager Tiffany so he wouldn't be free until later. While he did that, I went to Blazing Ice to skate for a little bit. I've only been able to skate three times these past two weeks because of the busyness of Miles' life.

I'm only there for about an hour since the rink isn't closed today so there are people everywhere. It feels nice to skate around even though I might not be necessarily practicing anything. Coach Laurel is working on a brand new routine for me to start practicing. Even though I'm not participating in Nebelhorn or the Olympics, there are plenty of competitions afterward that will help me put my name out there even more than Worlds.

It might take a while for me to make it to the Olympics but with dedication and time, I'm sure I'll be there in four years. I might have failed the first time but there is no chance in hell I'm giving up. This is my life-long goal. Giving up on your goal after one mistake is stupid. There's always room for improvement.

When I make it back home, my eyes widen at the sight in front of me. Miles sits on the kitchen island, with a full-course meal laid out in front of him. Flowers, pink tulips specifically, sit in a vase in front of him. "Hey, baby." He stands up to come greet me but I'm in shock. The kitchen smells like food so I'm sure he cooked everything. Miles wraps his arm around my shoulders and kisses my head.

"You hungry?" he asks. "You cooked this for me?" I question, looking up into his beautiful eyes. He nods, leading me to the chair next to him. "Eat up. I got some vanilla ice cream in the freezer too." My favorite. He takes a spoonful of mashed potatoes and shoves them in his mouth. I smile and tears start to glass over my eyes.

Something so small but yet it means the world to me. Call this bare minimum all you want but never in my life have I had a man cook dinner for me, buy me flowers, and have my favorite snack saved for later. He also treats me like a complete princess. I don't let him see my tears, picking up my fork and knife to cut the steak he made. "Thank you."

"Course." Miles kisses my temple quickly before returning to his food. We finish eating and then he serves the both of us some ice cream. 'The Bachelor' is on so we decide to watch it even though neither of us has any idea what's happening. Ignoring it after a while, we start getting hot and heavy on the couch until we remember I have a roommate who can walk through the front door whenever she wants to so we retrieve back to my bedroom.

Miles picks me up and throws me on the bed. The impact causes a gasp to slip from my mouth. He pulls his shirt over his head and comes down to kiss me. Our lips sync in a gentle manner at first. He reaches for my leggings until I remember something. "What time is it? Don't you have to meet the boys at eight?" We both look at the clock on my bedside table.

7:21.

"I've got time." He shrugs, continuing to pull down my leggings. I don't stop him since I feel myself pulsing for something more than my fingers. My panties come off too and he unbuckles his jeans. "Redbird is twenty minutes away," I remind him. When he pulls down his briefs, he's already hard. Oh my gosh. It never gets old seeing how big he is. "We'll be quick. I'll come back tonight for more," he says.

Miles pushes me up the bed a little more and places kisses on the inside of my thighs. I shudder at the sensation. I'm already soaked for him. He grabs a condom from my bedside table and rips it open, sliding it on smoothly. He kisses and teases me for a little longer until I get impatient. Miles grabs his shaft and pushes it inside of me all at once. We both gasp at the same time. The sensation of him slipping inside of me for the first time always feels good.

"Fuck," Miles groans, pumping in and out of me. I bite on my lower lip and grip the sheets underneath me. "Touch yourself, baby. Let's come together." I don't hesitate, fingering my clit as Miles thrusts in and out of me at a consistent pace. Sweat glands form on both of our bodies as he takes me. I moan louder when he hits that sweet spot he's already discovered within me. He kisses my knee. The sound of our skin slapping against each other and our breathy moans fill the room.

He makes me feel so fucking good it's insane. Miles pulls out quickly making me gasp when I feel empty. "Turn around, baby." He turns me himself, flipping me on my stomach and bringing my feet to the ground. His length fills me up again and I whimper. Grabbing my waist, he pumps in and out of me. Occasionally, I push back into him and we're both fucking each other.

"Shit, I'm gonna come," he breathes. Two seconds later, he pulls out. Breathless, I roll over onto my back again as Miles pulls off the condom and throws it away. He cleans himself off in the bathroom and pulls me up when he comes back. "You are so sexy," he groans into the side of my neck. His hands find my butt, pinching it. "C'mon, don't leave Jay and Tate waiting," I tell him, pulling back.

Miles rolls his eyes playfully. "I'll be back tonight for more, Scott."

"I'll be waiting," I tease. While Miles takes a quick shower, I change into a big t-shirt so I won't be completely naked waiting for my turn to shower. By the time Miles is done getting ready, it's only ten minutes until eight. He runs a hand through his wet hair and grabs the keys to his BMW. "Okay, I'll be back in a bit," he tells me, kissing my head. "Be careful," I say.

He's about to leave my room but peeks back in. "Yes?" I question. He smiles, looking at me without saying anything for a couple of seconds. "I'm crazy about you, babe. See you later."

Miles doesn't stay long enough to see the blood rush to my cheeks.

Oh boy, I'm in trouble.
