option 4, asking Barkpaw's family to help and find her

"No," Barkpaw immediately doubted the possibility that Jasminepaw was simply... coming back to camp now, safe and sound, but he had to make sure.

"Daisypaw," he continued, "I will ask my family to help find her as well. Then we will set off and find Jasminepaw."

Daisypaw nodded as they glanced at the cats in the clearing. The innocent kits were playing mossball with sunlit grins on their faces. But he knew, inside the medicine cat den, every cat felt like walking dead as they stared at the fallen with dull eyes. Their souls were reaped, their hearts were shattered. They did not know... who would be next to leave. They did not know... who would be the next to fall, like a fallen leaf from an autumn tree.

The disappearance of Jasminepaw would certainly cause another wave of sadness, which would certainly be a great hit to the crowd after the news was spread. Jasminepaw was always a kind and empathic friend to Barkpaw. He did not want to think about it, but what if...

Daisypaw twitched her ears uncomfortably, breaking the silence cowering over them. She mewed softly with her voice filled with uncertainty, "S-should we go?"

Breaking out of his thoughts, Barkpaw nodded as they looked for Cherrychaser and Covepaw in the clearing. Fear gripped Barkpaw's throat as he couldn't help but feeling insecure after failing to find them. Then, he spotted his mentor's familiar pelt.

Lilypetal came running to him as she panted, "Covepaw fell ill, and we desperately needed help."

Barkpaw's vision blackened as both she-cats shot a worried gaze to him. He could not make out how tired and drained out he was after his eventful day. Between the two, he must choose one.

>> looking after Covepaw and giving the job of searching to the others

>> asking Lilypetal to take care of Covepaw and searching Jasminepaw

>> taking a break and give both jobs to the others
