As we were leaving Le Target my sister found some Pokémon cards and came up to me talking about them.
And then my mom told the guy waiting beside us that he could go ahead as he had less items. He smiled and made a Pokémon reference. All I could make out was "Well it's a Ninetails..." (Sorry if I spelt that wrong :/) my mom faked laughed and after he left my mom looked at me and said "I have no clue what he said."

So I said "It was a Pokémon reference that's why you didn't get it. Ninetails is a Pokémon." And she looked at me SO confused
