Preeran left for airport. Preeta was continously looking out of window.

Karan looked at her. He gave her his handkerchief.

Karan: Tum ro skti ho.. Andar hi andar ghutne se better hoga...

Preeta took the handkerchief and tied it around her hand.

Karan(confused) : Yeh kya kr rhi ho...

Preeta: Itni kamzor bhi nhi kii kisi ke dhokhe se tut jau... Ha dard ho rha h.. Par jab pyaar hi nhi tha use mujhse... Toh mere aansoun pr hak bhi nhi ab uska...

Karan could not believe his ears. Preeta smiled a little towards him.

Preeta: Thank u very much Karan.. Maine kaha tha na tum bahut ache ho... Shayad tum nhi hote... Tum se nhi milti... Toh aaj bhi usi jhuthi duniya mein jee rahi hoti... I am so glad I found u..

Karan: Preeta...

The car stopped.

Preeta: Flight ka time ho rha h...

Karan nodded. Both went inside. Karan was continuously looking at her.

Both sat down waiting for boarding to begin.

There were no adjacent seats. So, both sat against, their backs facing each other.

Karan: Maine tumse yeh expect nhi kia tha..

Preeta: Kya expect nhi kia tha..

Karan: Itni jaldi move on..Mujhe laga tha tumhe waqt lgega...

Preeta(gulping) : Waqt.. Waqt tham gya tha mere liye.. Jab Mayank ka dhokha realise hua.. Par main kamzoor nhi hu Karan.. Main kamzoor nhi hu kii koi jhutha insan.. Uska jhutha pyaar mujhe bhikher de.. Dard khud ka pyaar de rha h... Kyunki uss rishte mein vo tha ya nhi.. Pata nhi.. Par main thi.. Yeh sach h.. Aur main sach se bhaagne walo mein se nhi...

Uss din mujhe laga.. Shayad maine use smjha hi nhi tha.. Nazuk masoom aur bevkof si meri babydoll bahut strong thi... Jo dard mujhe sambhalne mein itna waqt laga.. Usne use ek pal mein maan lia...Ek jhuthi si smile ki piche apne aansoun ko chipa liya...Pyaar toh mujhe uss se hogya tha.. Par mohabbat se chahat ka safar abhi baaki tha.. Uski kaanch ki duniya jo maine jaane anjaane todi thi... Use usske tukdo se bahar nikalna baaki tha... Shayad ek safar ka ant tha vo pal.. Par abhi ek aur safar baaki tha..

Karan smiled a bit..

Karan: Kaash sab log tumhari tarah.. Sach se na bhaagte..

Preeta: Tumhi ne kaha tha na..Kii kyu darr h jab sacha pyaar h... Shayad sach se hi bhaag rhi thi.. Par ab aur nahi...

Karan: Ek baat puchu..

Preeta hummed.

Karan: Tum ne mera rumaal apne haath pr kyun bhanda h...

Preeta smiled.

Preeta(smilingly) : Kyunki yeh mujhe yaad dilata rhega.. Kii mere aanson kuch logo ki hasi cheen skte h.. Vo log jo sach mein mere h.. Toh ek jhuthe rishte ke liye apno ko ab aur dard main nhi dungi..

Boarding announcement interrupted their conversation.

Preeran boarded the flight. They settled on their seats.

Preeta closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

Karan: Babydoll..

Preeta: Chinta mt karo.. Main nhi darrungi..

Karan smiled.

Karan: Mujhe pata h meri bahadur dost.. Par tranquilliser le lo.. Tumhe neend aajayegi.. 12 hr ki flight h.. Sona zaruri h..

Preeta smiled. Karan handed her the tranquilliser. She ate it.

Preeta: Thank u..

Karan: Hey... Kisi mahapurush ne kaha h dosti mein no sorry no thank u...

She smiled a bit. The flight started off and Preeta clutched the headrest. Karan kept his hand on hers and removed her grip.

Karan: Just hold my hand... I am with u...

Preeta just held his hand and closed her eyes. She slowly drifted to sleep.

Karan kept her head on his shoulder to make her feel comfortable.

Uss waqt kismat ne hume vahi laake khada krdia tha.. Jahaan se sab shuru hua tha.. Ek gussel ladka jise pyaar mein bharosa nhi tha.. Ek masoom ladki jiski duniya hi uska pyaar tha.. Par ek pal mein sb badal gya tha... Main apne pyaar ke saath uske liye vaha tha.. Aur vo sb harr chuki thi... Hum dono ki duniya badal chuki thi... Meri duniya mein pyaar ne dastak di thi kii usne pyaar ka vajood mita dia apni zindagi se..

It all seemed the end of my world but it was just another beginning.
