Hello Ameliorators!

I thought we were amazing and beyond our imagination but the I think again and we are actually awesome and beyond our own imagination!

We went and came back better! Welcome to Meliorate Laurels 2.0

Like most of you already know, we at Ameliorate Us believe in improvement, for, Ameliorate or Meliorate, both literally mean 'make better' and so, we are back, as an improved version to help improve yourself.

Life isn't all rainbows and unicorns so is our journey of writing. That absolutely doesn't mean we should, can, may with the suffix not keep going and wait for somebody to read our work.

Thousands of us write our first chapter with the energy of a contemporary dancer trying to defeat gravity. We publish it with a drunk madness of one year old and then scroll for the hundredth time, in a day, checking if somebody found the story and read it.

That is the grave truth of every starter. So how are we relating it to Awards?

Well, Awards aren't just about winning the contest, getting a recognition and grabbing a few more reads and votes.

It is about developing the areas we lack in and give out the best shot. If you win it is a win-win for both the parties and there is nothing to lose because for some reasons you just happened to improve few things which is going to help you grow as a writer.
