Before she could understand anything or move away, the stage and the ground below it completely crumbled under her feet, and she fell in, as the ones who managed to see the unbelievable incident felt like they really saw Devi Sita being swallowed up by mother earth.
"RUHI!" shouted Ayu, as she ran towards her and managed to catch her hand, somehow. But fate was cruel, and in the blink of an eye, the crack extended to Ayu's feet, but she was too busy to notice, and in they fell, feet first, screaming, holding each other's hands, and having absolutely no idea of what was happening to them. Hari, who was in the green room, since the play was over, heard the screams and ran towards the stage as well, just in time to see the earth swallowing up his two best friends.

My Putra again said those words which always makes me cry, "I can't let Ayu and Ruhi go alone in the mouth of kaal! Ruhi! Ayu! I am coming" Why does he always do so!? Why?

"Ouch" whispered Ayu, and lifted her head, looking around. "Ruhi, where are you?" "Under you, your great highness!" came a feeble voice from below her, and she looked down to see poor Ruhi, sandwiched between her and the ground.........that's why the fall wasn't so hard, poor Ruhi..........
She hastily climbed down and helped Ruhi to get up. Luckily, there were no broken bones, and Ruhi stood up, rubbing her poor waist. Ruhi advised, "You should go on dieting." Ayu laughed and said, "You wanna be a nutritionist Ruhi, not me."

"Where are we?" asked Ruhi, looking around with wonder. They seemed to be in some sort of forest, a really serene forest, with greenery and little birds and deers all around, and smells of freshly bloomed flowers drifted through the air. It was really different from any other forest they had seen before.
"Is this another spare room, where they create all the props and everything? This all seems to be too real for a fake tree" said Ayu, touching a nearby tree.

"Nope, this is real." she confirmed.

Ruhi suddenly heard a faraway sound. "Ayu, did you hear that?" she whispered "Do you mean the sound of footsteps? Yes, I have." Suddenly a thought seemed to strike her. "What if we are kidnapped? I am not letting them ask to send a cheque of ten lakhs to our parents." "Arrey, what if they are kidnappers? We will give them a punch in the face, and a kick in the stomach." exclaimed Ruhi, throwing around a few imaginary punches and kicks, her anklets jingling in the process. Suddenly, there was a whooshing sound, like something cutting through the air, followed by the sound of hooves. Ayu looked forward, and her blood ran cold. Her eyes squeezed shut and hands involuntarily covered up her face. Yet, the impact never came.

So guys, here is a cliffhanger 😁😁

What was it that made her blood run cold?
