Your POV
You were three, Nya was five and Kai was seven. The three of you were outside in the garden. You had found a ladybug and wouldn't stop showing it to Kai.

"Look, pretty," you say.

"Yeah it is sis," Kai says.

"Leave her alone!" You hear your dad yell.

"Dad!" Kai yells. He jumps up and runs towards the store.

You and Nya run after him. Your parents are cornered by two men with weapons. Your dad is stood in front of your mum. The first man runs and starts fighting with your dad. The other man uses this opportunity to go after your mum.

The pairs fight until your mum falls.

"Mummy/mum!" You three yell.

What you didn't realise was that the second man was sneaking up on you.

"Y/n!" The three of you spin around. Your dad pushes the first guy away and runs over.

He starts to fight the second guy. You feel someone pick you up. You scream thinking it's one of the men but it's Kai.

"Daddy! No!" You yell as you start crying.

You bolt up gasping. You take a couple of shaky breaths. Your door slams open making you scream.

"Y/n, we heard you screaming. Are you ok?" Kai asks running towards you as Nya appears in the doorway.

You shake your head. Kai sits next to you and hugs you.

"Y/n? What's wrong?" Nya asks moving to your other side.

"I- I had a n-nightmare ab-about," you hiccup quietly and cuddle into Kai more, still crying. He pulls you closer and rubs your back.

"Shh it's ok sis," Nya rubs your arm.

You climb into Kai's lap and snuggle into his chest.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Kai asks.

"It- it was about mum and dad," You whimper.

"Oh, sis. It's ok. Shh, it's ok," Kai continues to rub your back.

"It-it was my fault. It's my fault dad is gone," you cry.

"Oh, sis no it's not," Nya grips your hand, squeezing it tightly.

Kai's other hand strokes your hair trying to calm you down. "Why would you ever think that?"

"He was protecting me!" You yell.

You shrink into Kai at the wide-eyed look you get from Nya.

"I'm sorry," you murmur, making Nya squeeze your hand tightly.

"It's ok sis. It's ok. We're here for you-"

"And we always will be," Nya interrupts.

"And you can come to us for anything," Kai finishes making you smile a little bit.

"Can you stay?" You ask quietly.

"Of course," Nya replies.

"Love you two," you murmur before falling asleep.

"Goodnight sis," Kai whispers before laying down.

Nya cuddles into Kai's other side before falling asleep.

Kai smiles slightly at his two sleeping sisters before he drifts off.
