Hwa-Young was pretty shy when she first came to this country. That makes sense considering she was in a new environment. She's fluent in English, though her Korean accent still pokes out of her words. Hwa-Young is a happy person who rarely speaks. It's not that she's quiet, her tone is just low. She isn't whispering and her voice is form and normal, but her tone is naturally low and hard to hear.
Hwa-Young is known to be very sweet and kind (despite her looks), not the type of person to talk crap and seems suitable for bullying. However, this isn't the case. Don't walk over her. Though she looks skinny and thin, she's strong and won't let you hurt her. She's very calm and won't let most things get in her way, but if you talk about a particular topic that bothers her, she'll go off on you.
Don't automatically call her stupid if she misses a word or two in English, and don't treat her like she's knows nothing about America. She knows about it's culture and will ask if she needs your help.
She hates when people ask, "Say this in Korean, and this in Korean." She finds it annoying and will mostly say: "개새끼" (which is close to son of a bîtch).
In total though, Hwa-Young is fluent in Korean, English, Spanish, French, Japanese, and is almost fluent in Chinese. She is a linguist.
