With skin tan from the sun that shines on the ocean and teal eyes,(They're a shade that flip between a green and blue.) their look is tied together. They have a rather rounded face, but a thin and fit figure. They have a scar on their right side of the face, tracing along their cheekbone. They honestly don't even remember how that got there. It was like waking up one morning, and there it was. There are rumors that someone tried to kill them in their sleep but out of nowhere, a guard came and protected them. All while keeping them asleep. It could've even been a regular citizen since they lived among their people, but no one ever admitted so.
Anyways, they have a hooked nose and large eyes, but small eyelashes and a thinner pair of eyebrows. Their lips form a heart shape when they smile and they have a dimple on the left side of their face.
They're short at only 5'1", and have dark brown colored hair (with natural sea-blue highlights and natural beach waves-- it's short and reaches the end of their jaw, which is smoother by the way, and rounded). They have a flat chest (being male at birth), but will wear padded bras if they're in the mood to wear a feminine outfit. They tend to wear outfits that compliment their eyes, and are terrible with makeup. Seriously, they can't even put on lipstick properly.
They have pierced, slightly pointed ears, and shoulders that sink down (not forward so that they're slouching, just angled down).
An feminine outfit would probably look like: A pair of teal flip flops, with a matching teal and white dress. Some lace, but enough to swim in, paired with light jewelry.
A masculine outfit would look like: A striped shirt tucked in at the front of waterproof jeans. (Yes, they have normal clothes, waterproof ones too.)

⇒ || Dragon form ||
Small teal eyes sit delicately within their dragon form's narrow skull, which gives them a slightly menacing looking appearance.
Their ears are small and pointed. Directly below those are large fin-like growths that stem from the sides of their face, with a lighter color to match their sleek, metal-like underbelly.
Their nose is long and has two thick, pointy nostrils and there are small horns on the bottom of their chin (I wouldn't call them horns though, more of just hair?). That same horn/hair branches off the area above their eyes which travels above their ear, following along their skull in a rectangular shape from a top perspective and a widened U shape from a front view. Those then form into creme horns.
A long neck runs down from their head and into a graceful body. The top is covered in narrow, sea-blue, shiny scales, that reflect the sun the same as the ocean and another fin-like growth runs down their spine.
Slender wings grow starting from their shoulders and end at the lower end of their back, bat-like but with the same material as fins.
Their feet are webbed too, similar to a frogs or a sea creatures. They of course have the normal four limbs. In total size, they're maybe the size of a small school bus.
Their tail is actually very long as well, smooth yet with lots of hairlike strands growing off of the end of it in a variety of matching colors.

Xae has the ability to breathe underwater, as well as manipulating and creating it. They're really good at forming beautiful figures with the water, but have also trained with it enough to know how to fight with it. They can also communicate with animals in the ocean to a certain extent.

⇒ || Personality ||
Xae is a pretty chill person. You can expect them to cruise through life with a smile. Even if things get tough, they tend to keep a positive attitude and a smile. Really, what's the point of struggling and focusing so much. You lose sight of what's really important in the process of doing so. So therefore, they believe to live in the present and make the best of how life is right now. They aren't one to hold a grudge and have a belief that though they are Dragon, they aren't better than anyone. They, and everyone around them, are equal. So they will fight for their people if it must come to so, just like they would fight for a sibling.
They're the type of person who isn't afraid to just get down to earth and work hard. So what if they're a Royal, that doesn't mean that they actually need to rule over their people.
In fact, them and their siblings don't even live in a castle. They live in a hut, just like everyone else.

↳ They love moments when it rains. The smell of that rain, petrichor, and the color of it too. They love it.
↳ They obviously love swimming. They can even communicate to the animals, well, not really, but they can tell what they mean. They love swimming the most when the weather is warm-- when it gets cold the water starts to become freezing and that isn't too appealing to him.
↳ In general, Xaen loves warmer weather. It's beautiful, because you can see through the water, it isn't murky or full of sand, you're able to look directly into the ocean and view the sea creatures there.
↳ Xaen absolutely loves cake by the way. There aren't many citizens who bake (thought wheat grows surprisingly well considering that it's in the middle of the ocean, plus they've created a way to produce flour and other ingredients with the underwater plants). So when they travel to other kingdoms— which they like to do often— they will always come back with a fare share of baked goods.
↳ Xaen was raised with the people and loves that aspect, they wish others were like that too.
↳ Xaen loves being active and moving. He can't force himself to stay still and barely sleeps for that reason.

⇒ || Backstory ||
Xaen grew up in a very open household. They were taught at a young age to stay open minded and to treat other the way they'd wanted to be treated. Father always believed that to really understand your people, you had to put yourself in their position. Xaen and the rest of their family took that literally and actually live with the people as they would, with no other benefits. Of course, they do have guards which are essentially citizens that volunteer at night, and they've taken training on how to behave around other officials and such, as well as how to control their powers. Other than those facts, they are just like their people.
Xaen is close with their siblings and knows of their brothers relationship with a citizen. Of course they support it, but Xae's a bu worried that that person may just want their child to have the abilities to shift into a dragon (since the dragon abilities are dominant).
