This will just be me dropped some writing that I've done over the last few weeks in a club and one unfinished short story where I may put the rest of it up later.

Loneliness was a melody that no one wanted to play. It was beautifully quiet, yet no one wanted to touch it. An endless abyss many stared at without remorse, but never dared to touch.

But if life was a vibrant mixture of thousands of colors dancing throughout the world, then loneliness was a solemn gray mixed with the disappointment of thousands of lost dreams.

Fire roared through the building, as it attacked any person that stepped in its way. Glass busted into small fragments as it cascaded down the ashy sky. Screams filled the air, each caught with the dry wind and swam down the streets. The building had turned into a beacon of light and the night into day. Smoke escaped from the top of the place is it disappeared into the black night without a trace. Slowly, the homes around it flickered to life to sleet the people so close to death that help had arrived. Sirens filled the world and after a few hours of death playing with his toys, the streets fell silent once more.

At one points in its life, Devi was a world in itself. Colonies shivered when its monarchs spoke and everyone that knew of the place dreamed of living there. The rulers had cared for their subjects as if they were their children. Happiness covered the island, and for a moment in the history of the world, everyone was joyful. But alas, every era must come to an end and this one stop the slaughter of hope. In one night, worlds collided and Devi fell into the ashes of defeat. From that moment, Devi was taken off the map of the world and so where it's citizens.

Now, the kingdom sat by itself, stranded by time to wither away. Nature has made its home in the remaining tattered buildings, but any other life was transparent. The only thing (other then nature) that remained on the island were a handful of nonnative people training to restore Devi back to its glory. Four teenagers remained in the ruined castle with an immortal watching over their backs. Everything was peaceful as Nasha's prowling eye watched the hallways. Though the blissful silence, a figure emerged from the shadows into one of the rooms unknown to the revolutionist asleep inside.

Quietly walking up to Val, he began to rub her arm to wake her up. "Val," Callan whispered sharply "wake up." In return to the harsh words, Callan was greeted with a solid elbow to the gut, knocking him to the ground.

A cold dagger teased his neck as Val looked him up and down. Once it registered in Val's mind who's throat was at the end of her blade, she turned sheepish getting up and offering a hand. "Sorry, I didn't realize it was you..."

It took Callan a moment to take Val's hand as he caught his breath. "Kings Val, if I knew that was going to be your reaction, I wouldn't have woken you up." He paused for a second, looking over at her, a hint of humor sparkling in his eyes. "Remind me to have Julius wake you up next time."

Val rolled her eyes at the comment, playfully nudging Callan once the boy was on his feet. "So you just woke me up to give me a hard time, huh?"

"For once, no." Callan began rummaging through his coat, pulling out a small box that glimmered in the moonlight. "I wanted to show you-"

"A radio." Val finished off his sentence, unimpressed with the contraption. "I've seen a radio before Frostbite. I know I'm from Abbas but we're not that primitive."

Annoyance flashed through his face. "I know you have, but will you let me finish my sentence?" When Val's mouth fell to a close, Callan continued. "As I was saying, I wanted to show you Devi when the moon is full."

Val's suspicions grew as she raised an eyebrow. The question "why not Sora?" almost rolled off her tongue, but she forced it back in before she continued. "What's so different about the city at night."

Callan smiled, his eyes glinting with secrets she would soon find out. "You'll see."

There is all my throw up on paper 😂
