I know what you are all thinking. You're probably all like "Dani, can you shut up about Stained Seasons?" The answer is no, no I can not.

This is the longest I have ever put work into a story so it is practically my child, probably a little bit more in all honesty. So tonight I am going to tell you about one of the concepts I have and that is the zelipos.

The word was completely made up and has masculine and feminine terms. Zelipo is for guys and women are called zelipas. Think of it the way that the Spanish language works with he, she, and they. When you are referring to more then one of both genders it would be zelipos and if it was just a group of women it would be zelipas.

The zelipo were ancient warriors of Padma. They had been blessed by Muna, the rule of Padma. The actually went to war with the Knights of Lennox because of their alliance with Gaddar. The zelipos were not only warriors, but the followers and advisers of the queen that were pretty bad to the bone. Most wore dark purple cloaks to keep their identities hidden from the general public.

Being blessed by Muna, they went out on missions for the queen and served as ambassadors to the crown. They were blessed with a small amount of the queen's powers by a certain type of flower that looks like a Morning Glory. The flower can be poisonous if not taken correctly. When eating the flower, you must go through certain steps. You have to boil the flower for a couple hours before and then grind up the few bits of the flower that are left before eating it. The flowers are grown in the castle in that almost no one knows about.

Most nobles (aka Muna's "advisers") know about the secret garden because she will often walk through it while talking to people. A few honorary zelipos watch over the garden whenever Muna is busy and doesn't have time to tend to the garden. They will often watch the garden at night and make sure that if it gets cold (though it rarely does) that the flowers are covered. Like the Knights of Lennox, once Muna went corrupt with power, most of the zelipos were cast out of society. Luckily, because their identities were kept secret most of them were not hunted down and killed. Even though Muna stripped the powers away from them, they were still able to keep a small amount of the flowers and a little bit of magic lingered in their kin.

But what are the present day zelipos like? Well, you'll figure out in Stained Seasons...
